HTC is known as the high-end smartphone manufacturer, but now they also ready to enter mid to low-end market. Through the new Desire 310 smartphone, HTC is ready to compete in low-end market.

Desire 310 is the first smartphone that powered by MediaTek processor and in addition, this Desire 310 supports dual SIM dual standby functionality. The new Desire 310 is used to use the MediaTek MT6582 1.3GHz quad-core processor.

The new HTC Desire 310 is comes with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage, and supports for microSD card expansion up to 32GB capacity. In addition, it is equipped with a 4.5 inch screen size with 854 × 480 pixel, equipped with 5 megapixel main camera supports for 1080p HD video capture, 3 megapixel front-facing camera that can shoot VGA resolution video. Also on the dual sim dual standby function, the primary SIM card support WCDMA 3G network, and second-SIM card slot support only GSM networks.

The phone is running with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system, and is currently only sold in the Chinese market. Currently HTC has not officially announced the price and time to market Desire 310, but I believe this product will soon be listed in other emerging markets.
