Htc today launched the new Desire 626 series. Even though the design is similiar to their flagship models its is a midranger. It comes with both China mobile & Unicom Variant. It comes with Android 4.4 & HTC Sense UI

The phone measures 146.9*70.9*8.19 mm, 5” inch HD screen, 13 MP Rear & 5 MP front cam,It comes with 1 Gb Ram & 16 GB of internal memory. It sports Mediatek 6752 1.7Ghz octa core processor probably China mobile version while the Snap dragon 410 1.2 Ghz will be a Unicom one.

The phone is available for sale here. It Listed for 1499 Yuan (272$). Its available in 4 colors.Orange, Light purple, Blue Magic & Elegant White.

HTC seems to be a lot of effort not only in its flagship One line of the devices, but also into more mid-range oriented line of Desire smartphones. As you may know, one of the latest members of Desire family is the HTC Desire 826, which was announced back in the beginning of January in CES 2015 show in Las Vegas.

It did not take too long and the company decided it is a great time to launch this device in the biggest smartphone market in the world – China.

We have some hands-on pictures here. As you can see, the device spots a typical Desire line design language. The typical, yet a bit unusual position of the front facing shooter is placed on this device again (same as the Desire Eye). What is more, you may not see it, but the device spots dual front facing BoomSound speakers. This time around, however, they are hidden, but should still provide you a great audio experience.

Here on the back you can see a camera (13mp) placed in the top right corner. Also, there is a single LED flash right underneath it. The device is made out of quality plastic material, which is non glossy, but may still attract some of fingerprints.

Configuration wise, the device has a 5.5-inch 1080p screen, it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 64-bit  eight-core processor, 2GB of Memory and 16GB of storage (can be expanded via Micro SD card slot). Also, there is a 4mp UltraPixel front camera  and a 13mp rear camera. Moreover, it has a  battery capacity of  2600mAh (non-removable) and it is  running Android 5.0 operating system out of the box. In addition, it supports dual SIM dual standby and 4G networks (however, there may be some different carrier-based versions of the device).

The device is said to be on sale very soon – on January 29th. What is more, the pricing of it will be 2299 Yuan for a 16GB version and 2499 for a 32GB version. Some previous rumours said that the price will be just 1999 Yuan, but, however, it is a bit more expensive. Still, the price seems to be pretty reasonable if you consider the whole package you are getting.

Jimmy Lin, a celebrity who posted an iPhone 6 photo earlier, posted a photo of a HTC phone this time. He said:”Just got a phone who is the first to have a Qualcomm octa-core 64bit CPU. It’s butter smooth. It has the kind of speed that any racer would be addicted to. Also there is a special feature I like very much about this phone. Guess what it would be?”

As far as we know, HTC Desire 820 comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core 64bit CPU. It’s also likely to have a 5.5-inch 720p display, 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, a 8-megapixel font-facing camera, a 13-megapixel main camera, and a 2600mAh-power battery. We can think of it as an upgrade on Desire 816.

HTC have already said that Desire 820 will be released at IFA 2014. If everything goes well, it should be available in China after the announcement. And it’s likely to have the same price tag as Desire 816.

HTC has officially announced the Desire 510 ahead of IFA. This is a mid ranger with LTE support.

Coming to specification part it packs a 4.7 inch FWVGA display, powered by latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SOC clocked at 1.2GHz  coupled with 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage with option to expand up to 128GB.

This phone boasts a 5 MP rear camera and 0.3MP front for selfie. Has all standard connectivity features such as 4G, 3G, WiFi, and Bluetooth 4.0 support.

It is equipped with Android KITKAT out of the box with 2,100mAh battery under it’s hood.

The HTC Desire 510 will be available in only in selected countries of  Europe and Asia. Will be made available in Terra White and Meridian grey colour options with affordable price tag.
