Realme’s DIZO recently announced two earbuds in the Indian market dubbed DIZO Wireless neckband and DIZO GoPods D TWS earbuds. The DIZO Wireless neckband is priced at ₹1,499 (~$20) and the GoPods D is priced at ₹1,599 (~$21). Interestingly, both the earbuds are now available for booking at just ₹1.

According to Flipkart’s landing page, these DIZO earphones can be pre-booked for ₹1. Later, buyers have to pay the full amount for the buds. The pre-booking has started from today i.e. July 21 and will be there till July 23.

Currently, DIZO is offering a ₹200(~$3) discount on both the earbuds if purchased in the Flipkart Big Saving Days sale. After the discount, the Wireless neckband will cost you ₹1,299(~$17) and the GoPods D TWS will cost you ₹1,399(~$19). The DIZO neckband comes in Black, Blue, Orange, and, Green. The GoPods D TWS has two color options – Black and White.

The DIZO Wireless neckband comes with 11.2mm bass boost drivers featuring 88ms super low-latency mode. It comes with a 150mAh battery which is claimed to last for up to 17 hours. On the other hand, the GoPods D comes with 10mm bass boost drivers with a 110ms low-latency mode. The buds are said to last for up to 5 hours without the charging case and up to 20 hours with the in-box charging case.

Realme recently announced DIZO as the first brand under its TechLife ecosystem. The brand’s first product was billed to drop today and indeed, DIZO’s first products are a pair of wireless earbuds. The products are dubbed DIZO Wireless and DIZO GoPods D.

The DIZO Wireless neckband earphones and the DIZO GoPods D true wireless earphones are really not new products entirely. The two models had earlier been launched under the Realme brand in other markets. The DIZO Wireless neckband is a rebadged Realme Buds Wireless 2 Neo while the DIZO GoPods D had earlier been launched as realme Buds Q2 in some countries. The design is slightly different, though.

Talking of the features, the DIZO Wireless neckband utilizes an 11.2mm Bass Boost driver and supports 88ms super low-latency gaming mode. The earbuds also feature a Magnetic Instant Connection whereby it is connected when the two earbuds are separated. The earbuds feature support for fast charging via a USB-C port. You also get an IPX4 Waterproof rating.

Further, the earbuds cram a 150mAh battery which can deliver up to 17 hours of playback on a single charge. The buds can be paired to the realme Link app on a smartphone, giving users the ability to customize functions such as switching bass boost+, getting system updates, etc.

The DIZO GoPods D has a smaller 10mm Bass Boost driver but with an improved 110ms super low-latency gaming support. It also comes with fast charging support. DIZO claims a 10 minutes charge will deliver up to 120 minutes of playback time for each bud and the charging case.

Each of the earbuds has a 40mAh battery that delivers up to 5 hours of battery life. The charging case packs a decent 400mAh battery that can deliver up to 20 hours of battery life. Other features on the DIZO GoPods D include Bluetooth 5.0, AAC audio codec, IPX4 waterproof rating,  intelligent touch controls, and voice assistant support. The earbuds also come with an ENC algorithm which reduces ambient noise during a call to the barest minimum. It also comes with a 110ms super-low latency gaming mode.

As for the pricing, the DIZO GoPods D is priced at Rs. 1599 (~$21) but it will be sold on Flipkart for a reduced price of Rs. 1399 (~$19) during the first sale scheduled for July 14th. The earbuds come in Black and White colors.

On the other hand, the DIZO Wireless Neckband Earbud is priced at Rs. 1499 (~$20). The product will be sold for Rs. 1299 on Flipkart during the first sale scheduled for July 7th. It comes in Orange, Black, Blue, and Green colors. Both models will also be sold on offline stores across India.

At the end of May, a Vietnamese tipster had found new DIZO branded products such as DIZO GoPods, DIZO GoPods D, and DIZO Watch on a Vietnamese retailer site named Shopee. Now the listings of these products have appeared on DIZO’s official website. The listings have confirmed some of the appearance and key features of these IoT devices.

DIZO GoPods and GoPods D specifications and features

The DIZO GoPods is equipped with a 10mm bass boost driver, and it is powered by an intelligent digital chip powered by a Realme R2 processor. The chip promises ultra-low power consumption, stable connectivity, Bluetooth 5.2 support, and improved sound quality. The GoPods promises up to 25 hours of playback time with its case.

The GoPods offer other features such as dual-mic noise cancellation for calls, ANC, 88m low latency while gaming, fast charging through USB-C, touch controls, and IPX5 water resistance. Users can modify touch functions and adjust EQ settings using the Realme Link app on the paired device. It will come in two colors such as Smokey Gray and Smoky White.

The GoPods D features a 10mm bass boost driver and it offers up to 20 hours of playback time with its case. The other features available on GoPods D include ENC support, 110ms low latency, Bluetooth 5.0, touch controls, microUSB, IPX4 water resistance, and Realme Link app support. It will also come in black and white colors.

DIZO Watch specifications and features

The DIZO Watch has a 1.4-inch touchscreen display with thick bezels around it. The screen offers 320 x 320 pixels resolution and 600 nits brightness. Once charged, its 315mAh battery can last for up to 12 days. The smartwatch offers other features like 90 sport modes, live watch faces, real-time heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen tracking, control center for Realme AIoT devices, Realme Link app support, and IP68 water resistance.

The pricing of the DIZO GoPods, GoPods D, and DIZO Watch are not mentioned on the official site. These products were recently seen on Shoppe with VND 2,690,000 (~$117), VND 790,000 (~$34), and VND 1,490,000 (~$64) price tags, respectively. At present, the listings of these products are no longer on Shopee.

Earlier this week, it was announced that DIZO, an Indian-based company will be the first brand under Realme’s TechLife ecosystem. While the brand didn’t say when its first product will launch, it revealed its lineup will include products under “Smart Entertainment, Smart Home, Smart Care, and Accessories”. Now three DIZO-branded products have been spotted and they are practically rebadged Realme ones.

The products were seen by Twitter user Chun (@chunvn8888) who found them on the official DIZO store on Shopee Vietnam. The three products are the DIZO Watch, DIZO GoPods, and the DIZO GoPods D. The first two products are the rebadged realme Watch 2 and realme Buds Air 2 respectively while the GoPods D is based on the realme Buds Q2.

We expected DIZO’s first set of products will be IoT devices and not a rebadged realme smartwatch and earphones but that is not the case. Nevertheless, fans of realme in Vietnam should be happy with these products as their realme equivalents are not sold in the country. So this is their chance to get their hands on them.

The DIZO Watch is priced at VND 1,490,000 (~$64) and is available in black, though a white variant should be available later. It has a 1.4-inch display, a 12-day battery life, support for 90 sports modes, a heart rate sensor, a blood oxygen monitor, an IP68 rating, and doubles as an AIoT hub for supported devices.

The DIZO GoPods has a price tag of VND 2,690,000 (~$117) and is currently available in black though the images also show an off-white variant with black earbuds. The earbuds have Bluetooth 5.2, ANC, a transparent mode, a realme R2 chip, 10mm drivers, a game mode with 88ms super-low latency, and up to 25 hours of playback with the case. It is also IPX5 water-resistant and can be tweaked to the owner’s preference via the realme Link app.

The DIZO GoPods D is based on the design of the realme Buds Q2 but has slightly different features. Priced at VND 790,000 (~$34), each earbud has 10mm drivers, connects via Bluetooth 5.0, is IPX4 rated, and weighs 4.1 grams. The earbuds have a battery life of 20 hours with the case and charge via a micro-USB port. There is also fast charging support. One significant difference between this and the realme Buds Q2 is the game mode – the DIZO has 110ms low latency while the Buds Q2 has 88ms low latency. Unlike the other two products, it is not yet available for purchase.
