<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/doogee/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Doogee</a> is back with two new rugged smartphones—the S118 Pro and S119. As expected from the brand, both devices pack massive batteries, durable exteriors, and hardware built for the outdoors.</p>

<p>While they share the same DNA, the two models take slightly different approaches when it comes to display, performance, and cameras. Here’s a closer look at what they bring to the table.</p>

<h2><strong>Doogee S118 Pro</strong></h2>

<p>The S118 Pro is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7050 chipset, paired with a whopping 24GB of RAM. That’s a surprising amount of memory for a rugged phone—even flagships don’t have that much—which is paired with 512GB of storage.</p>

<p>Up front, there’s a 6.6-inch Full HD+ display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. As expected, durability is a priority in a Doogee phone. It is rated IP68 and IP69K for dust and water resistance and meets the military-grade MIL-STD-810H standard.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="548" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/DOogee-S118-Pro-Launch-Specs.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-674346" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/DOogee-S118-Pro-Launch-Specs.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/DOogee-S118-Pro-Launch-Specs-300x183.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/DOogee-S118-Pro-Launch-Specs-768x468.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/DOogee-S118-Pro-Launch-Specs-696x424.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/DOogee-S118-Pro-Launch-Specs-690x420.jpg 690w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<p>On the back, you’ll find a 108MP main camera, a 20MP night vision sensor, and a 32MP front-facing shooter. Night vision cameras are a rare sight outside the rugged phone category, but they can be useful for low-light situations like camping or security monitoring.</p>

<p>For audio, the S118 Pro packs a dual-speaker setup. Keeping everything running is a massive 10,800mAh battery. Charging, however, is a bit on the slower side at 33W—reasonable but not exactly fast given the battery size. Still, a full charge will last significantly longer than your average smartphone.</p>

<h2><strong>Doogee S119</strong></h2>

<p>The S119 brings something unusual to the rugged phone category—a 1.32-inch rear secondary display. It can show notifications, call alerts, battery status, and even custom watch faces. A secondary display is rare in smartphones, especially rugged ones, but if you’ve ever wanted one, here’s your chance.</p>

<p>The device is built around a 6.72-inch IPS panel with a Full HD+ resolution. However, the company is still sticking with a waterdrop notch, which feels a bit dated in 2025.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="640" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Doogee-S119-1024x640.png?x44794" alt="Doogee S119" class="wp-image-671600" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Doogee-S119-1024x640.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Doogee-S119-300x188.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Doogee-S119-768x480.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Doogee-S119-696x435.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Doogee-S119-1068x668.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Doogee-S119-672x420.png 672w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Doogee-S119.png 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>Under the hood, it’s powered by MediaTek’s MT8788 processor—yes, that’s literally the name—paired with 8GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage, expandable up to 2TB.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The MT8788 is a 4G-only SoC with four Cortex-A73 and four Cortex-A53 cores, all clocked at 2GHz. It’s not exactly built for gaming or intensive tasks, so don’t expect flagship-level performance.</p>

<p>Software-wise, both the phone runs Android 14 out of the box. That’s a bit outdated for the 2025 phone while Doogee hasn’t shared any details about its update policy either.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Like the S118 Pro, the S119 packs a massive battery, though slightly smaller at 10,200mAh. And it supports the same 33W charging, which should keep things going for a while.</p>

<p>As for cameras, the S119 features a 100MP main sensor, a 20MP night vision camera, and a 5MP ultra-wide lens. Durability features include the same IP68, IP69K, and MIL-STD-810H certifications.&nbsp;</p>

<h2><strong>Availability </strong></h2>

<p>Both models are now available for purchase on Amazon. And if you’re looking for a deal, you can grab the Doogee S118 Pro with code VXDJSO82 for 30% off, or use 9GGBR278 to get the same discount on the S119.</p>

<p>In a world where smartphones are getting sleeker and more fragile, Doogee continues to carve its niche with rugged devices that prioritize durability without skimping on modern features. The brand’s latest offering, the Doogee S119, is a powerhouse built for adventure, equipped with a massive battery, a high-resolution camera setup, and an unexpected twist, a secondary rear display that brings smartwatch-like functionality to a smartphone.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="565" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Doogee-S119-1-1024x565.jpeg?x44794" alt="Doogee S119" class="wp-image-671598" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Doogee-S119-1-1024x565.jpeg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Doogee-S119-1-300x165.jpeg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Doogee-S119-1-768x423.jpeg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Doogee-S119-1-1536x847.jpeg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Doogee-S119-1-2048x1129.jpeg 2048w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Doogee-S119-1-696x385.jpeg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Doogee-S119-1-1068x589.jpeg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Doogee-S119-1-1920x1059.jpeg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Doogee-S119-1-762x420.jpeg 762w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<h2>Doogee S119 Specifications</h2>

<p>At first glance, the Doogee S119 looks like a tough device meant to withstand the elements, but a closer look reveals a feature rarely seen in rugged phones, a secondary 1.32-inch (360&#215;360 resolution) circular display on the back. Resembling a watch face, this unique addition isn’t just for show. It allows users to check notifications, answer calls, control music, and even customize clock dials with different fonts and colors. The main display is a 6.72-inch Full-HD+ screen, offering crisp visuals.</p>

<p>Under the hood, the Doogee S119 is powered by the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/mediatek/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">MediaTek</a> MT8788 octa-core processor, built on a 12nm process. The phone comes with 8GB (LPDDR4) of base RAM, which can be expanded virtually up to 24GB for improved performance. Storage-wise, it offers 512GB of internal storage, with support for microSD expansion up to 2TB. The device runs on Android 14, providing a clean and user-friendly experience.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="640" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Doogee-S119-1024x640.png?x44794" alt="Doogee S119" class="wp-image-671600" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Doogee-S119-1024x640.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Doogee-S119-300x188.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Doogee-S119-768x480.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Doogee-S119-696x435.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Doogee-S119-1068x668.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Doogee-S119-672x420.png 672w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Doogee-S119.png 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>For photography, the Doogee S119 is equipped with a triple-camera setup on the rear. The primary sensor is a 108MP camera that captures high-resolution images with impressive detail. Additionally, it includes a 20MP night vision camera for low-light photography and a 5MP ultra-wide camera with a 120° field of view. On the front, the device features a 16MP selfie camera.</p>

<p>Perhaps the most striking feature of the Doogee S119 is its enormous 10,200mAh battery. Designed for users who venture far from power outlets, this battery ensures days of usage on a single charge. Whether you’re on a multi-day trek or working in remote environments, you won’t have to worry about constantly finding a place to recharge. When it’s time to power up, the phone supports 33W fast charging, minimizing downtime.</p>

<p>The rugged nature of the Doogee S119 is further reinforced by its IP68, IP69K, and MIL-STD-810H certifications. These ratings make the phone resistant to water, dust, and accidental drops. The device includes three independent card slots, supporting two SIM cards and a microSD card simultaneously. In terms of connectivity, it includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS.</p>

<h2>Pricing and Availability</h2>

<p>The Doogee S119 comes in Silver and Red colors. It is priced at $339.99 and is now available for purchase on the official <a href="https://www.doogee.com/products/s119" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Doogee website</a>.</p>
