The Search Engine giant has always offered default wallpapers that many still use since they go really well with the color option of the Pixel model that customers purchased. These wallpapers have even included special collaborations with studios such as B-Reel and ustwo in the past for live wallpapers. But now, the upcoming Pixel 8 lineup will apparently feature a more minimalistic and static wallpaper.

The latest leak arrives from AndroidAuthority with the report revealing information about the color options that will be offered on the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro models. The former will arrive in four color options namely, Haze, Jade, Licorice, and Peony. Meanwhile, the latter will also come in four variants that will include Jade and Licorice as well as Porcelain and Sky options. Keep in mind that there’s a chance that not all of these will be widely launched and availability might also depend on different regions.

Looking at the leaked wallpapers, it appears that Google has decided to retain its wallpaper themes that revolve around different minerals. In other words, it could likely be the work of Andrew Zuckerman again. OPPO has confirmed to unveil ColorOS 12 by the end of September. Ahead of that, the company has shared the official wallpapers from the upcoming version of its mobile operating system based on Android 12. You can download them in original quality from the link provided at the end of this post.

ColorOS 12 is said to be the best iteration of OPPO’s software to date. The firm is yet to officially reveal its features. However, we know a few details about it via leaks.

The 9 wallpapers posted by the ColorOS official Weibo account hint at some of the design language suggested by Digital Chat Station. As per the tipster, the new version of ColorOS will be inspired by MIUI, Flyme, and HydrogenOS. 

We can notice some of the inspirations in these wallpapers. In simpler words, they are sort of similar to those found on those Android skins.

One of the main highlights of ColorOS 12 will be Cross Screen Interconnection. This feature is nothing but OPPO’s version of HUAWEI Multi Screen Collaboration. An early version of this functionality is already live on select realme devices called PC Connect. At present, it’s not known what OnePlus will call it as it is also expected to launch tablets like the other two brands.

Samsung Galaxy S20 Rumors and Specs

Samsung Galaxy S20 series is leaking for the past few months. A lot of information is already available via multiple reports, certifications, and rumors. The Korean giant is expected to launch the five Galaxy S20 smartphones at an event on February 11.

According to leaks, the Galaxy S20 series will consist of standard Galaxy S20, S20+, S20 5G, S20+ 5G, and S20 Ultra 5G. The Galaxy S20 is slated to feature a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED with the refresh rate of 120Hz, Galaxy S20+ having a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED with 120Hz and a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED of 120Hz. All the different variants will be powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, coupled with 12 GB RAM. There will be a quad-camera module on the rear side of Galaxy S20 and S20+ featuring a 48-megapixel primary camera. However, a Penta camera module with 108-megapixel primary camera will be available on the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G.

In terms of battery, there will be a 4000 mAh battery on Galaxy S20 and 5000 mAh powerhouse on Galaxy S20 Ultra with 45-watt fast charging technology.
