The Chinese company is gearing up for the launch of more budget friendly offerings with upcoming releases, which arrives after a while of flagship launches. Now, a new report suggests that its rumored OnePlus Nord will feature a dual camera setup on the front.

OnePlus Nord will be announced on July 10 in India and is a mid range smartphone. Initially, leaked renders had depicted the smartphone feturing just a single front camera, similar to the OnePlus 8 series. But, a new report has revealed that there will in fact be two front cameras. One is a 32 megapixel sensor while the other is an 8 megapixel lens.

Editor’s Pick: One in three smartphone users will lower smartphone spending by 20% for next purchase

The news was broken by an inside source and was first reported by AndroidCentral. The dual camera module will be located on the top left corner of the device, similar to the Huawei P40 series. Unfortunately, we have no way of confirming this as of now and we will have to wait for the official announcement. The device will likely sport mid range specs like the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G and maybe priced around 24,999 INR (roughly 330 US Dollars). So stay tuned for more updates.

The company went on its official Weibo account to share certain details regarding the device’s new front facing camera module.

According to the post shared, the Realme X50 Pro will arrive with a dual selfie camera setup. The primary lens is a 32 megapixel sensor while the secondary is an ultra wide angle lens. Furthermore, the smartphone manufacturer also shared other details regarding the smartphone in the Weibo post, a Chinese microblogging website. The ultra wide angle lens had a 105 degree field of view and also supports UIS Max Super Video Stabilization.

As the name suggests, this will likely be a video stabilization tool that will help in capturing steady videos even while moving; and as an added bonus, the front camera’s wide angle lens will also help capture a wider frame overall. This makes the selfie shooter on the Realme X50 Pro a really attractive offering. Similarly, the rear sensors of the device have already been revealed as well, with a 64 megapixel quad camera setup, including a 20x hybrid zoom feature.

The Realme X50 Pro will be the company’s latest flagship when launched and thus will arrive with top notch specs. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC alongside 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 flash memory for storage. News going around says the LG V40 will also come with triple rear cameras but up the game by adding dual front-facing cameras for a total of five cameras.

Android Police says a source informed them of the Korean giant’s plan for its next flagship. LG will stick to its wide-angle lens + standard lens configuration for two of the rear cameras but the job of the third sensor remains unknown.

LG V30 ‘s successor, the LG V40, will come with five cameras

For the front cameras, one of the sensors or even both will capture details of the face for 3D face unlock. Those two sensors will sit in a notch. So if you don’t like the LG G7 ThinQ because it has a notch, you may be disappointed again. However, you should be able to hide it if you want.

The choice of the display panel isn’t yet confirmed though. LG used an IPS LCD screen for the LG G7 ThinQ while the V35 ThinQ has a P-OLED display. Chances are it may stick to OLED for the V-series.

Other features mentioned include quad DAC, a dedicated Google Assistant button, and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845. So, basically, we are looking at an LG G7 ThinQ with more features (read more cameras).

Since the cameras are the big deal, we hope LG does come out with something super impressive. Google has shown that you can achieve a lot with a single camera and it is sticking to that for the 3rd gen Pixels. Samsung has also upped its camera game with the Galaxy S9/S9+ and will repeat the feat with the Galaxy Note 9.

However, new teaser posters on their official Weibo page has revealed there will be another launch on December 13. Our guess is it’s either the Honor Note 9 or Honor 9 Lite.

The two posters feature Chinese singer and actor Hu Ge. In one, he is shown wearing a pair of sunglasses on his face and in the other he has the glasses on the back of his head. There is also the figure 4 written in a bold white font on the posters. We believe this means that the phone will have dual front and dual rear cameras.

Honor already has a phone with four cameras. It is the Honor 9i in India which is also the Huawei Maimang 6 in China, the Huawei Nova 2i in Malaysia, and the Huawei Mate 10 Lite in other markets.

There were rumors that Honor would launch the Honor 9 Lite/Youth alongside the Honor V10 but only the latter was announced. Our guess is that the event will be for the Honor 9 Lite or maybe even the Honor Note 9.

To be honest, Huawei and Honor’s naming scheme and product releases are starting to get really confusing. Having one phone launch with 4 or 5 different names in different markets doesn’t make any sense.

Apart from the Maimang 6 and its multiple aliases, another example that comes to mind is the Honor 8 Lite which is also known as Huawei P8 Lite (2017) in France, Huawei P9 Lite (2017), and the Huawei Nova Lite (Singapore).

The unique selling points of the phone are its dual front and dual rear cameras in addition to its full-screen display. Just a few days ahead of its release, live images showing the front and rear of the device have been posted online.

The unit leaked is the silver variant which has a white front just like the official render of the black variant leaked by Evan Blass a few days ago.

The display is a 5.9-inch screen but thanks to the reduced bezels, it will have a compact size compared to other large screen phablets. The image of the front gives us a look at the dual front facing cameras, sensor, earpiece as well as a front flash. The bezel at the bottom has the Huawei branding.

READ MORE: Huawei May Launch The Mate 10 In Three Variants

Huawei has adopted a vertical design for the dual rear cameras. Above it and integrated into the antenna line is the LED flash. Beneath the camera setup sits a fingerprint scanner. There is the Maimang series logo and the Huawei name at the bottom of the phone.

The Maimang 6 will be official on Friday and will be available in black, blue, gold, and silver.

The Mate 10 series seem to be the focus of Chinese manufacturer, Huawei. However a new rumor on Weibo says the world’s second largest smartphone manufacturer is working on a new phone code-named Rhone.

The info about Rhone at the moment is that the phone will have dual front and rear facing cameras. This is not unusual in a phone. There is the Alcatel Flash and the Gionee S10 but this will be Huawei’s first.

The Huawei Rhone is also said to be powered by the Kirin 659 processor, and will have a 3240mAh battery. That is as much as we know about the phone at the moment.

What the Huawei Rhone will eventually launch as is a mystery as well as when. We also can’t say if it is a special device like the Huawei Honor Magic. Whatever Huawei is brewing, we are looking forward to it.

The Gionee S10 will feature a 5.5-inch FHD screen, 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Its rear cameras include a 16MP sensor and an 8MP sensor. Gionee says both the front and rear dual cameras will be able to take professional level portrait mode images with real time depth of field thanks to the ISP present in the phone.

The front facing cameras is a combination of a 20MP sensor and an 8MP sensor. We presume the 8MP sensor is a wide-angle lens. The rest of the specs includes a 3450mAh battery and a 2.5GHz octa-core Mediatek processor.

The teaser image shows Chinese singer, Xue Qian holding a dual camera phone.

The image was posted by Gionee’s VP, Yu Lei on Weibo and was accompanied by a text mentioning the phone’s four cameras. It has also been stated the singer will serve as brand ambassador for the Gionee S10 phones.

We have seen three variants of the Gionee S10 surface on TENAA. One has just a single camera on the back and front, another has dual cameras on the rear and a single camera in front, and the most recent one confirmed to be called the S10 and not S10 Plus (the other two will have suffixes attached to their names) has four cameras.

The Gionee S10 is powered by a 2.5GHz octa-core processor, 6GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and runs Amigo OS based on Android 7.0. The rear camera is a 16MP + 8MP combo and the one in front is a 20MP+ 8MP sensor. It will come with a 3450mAh battery and be available in black and gold.

The Gionee S10 is actually not the first smartphone in the world with four cameras. The Alcatel Flash or Alcatel Flash X (depending on the market) is the first.

Both devices are going to launch with dual front cameras, taking the “Selfie Expert” tag to another level. The larger variant, the F3 Plus has showed up on GFXBench.

Like a previous spec sheet leak we saw last week, the OPPO F3 Plus comes with a 6-inch full HD display. There is 4GB of RAM on board and it is paired with 64GB of built-in storage. The OPPO F3 Plus is powered by the Snapdragon 653 SoC and the Adreno 510 GPU.

The GFXBench listing reveals the rear camera as a 15MP(16MP) sensor and only shows one of the front cameras which is another 16MP sensor. While the device does pack some impressive specs, the disappointment comes in the version of OS the F3 Plus comes with it. Instead of the more recent Android Nougat 7.0 (or 7.1), OPPO has installed its own custom version of Android 6.0 Marshmallow on the device.

The OPPO F3 Plus will also come with a 4000mAh battery, have a MicroSD card slot and weigh 185g. Pricing is still unknown at the moment.
