While some of the features of <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/android">Android</a> 13 have leaked online, the company could officially reveal these features at the conference.</p>
<p>As <a href="https://blog.esper.io/android-dessert-bites-19-esim-mep-android-13-9683475/">per the latest report</a>, the search engine giant is now working on a feature that will allow users of Android 13-powered smartphones to have dual SIM capability on a device with a single eSIM chip.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-452641 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Google-eSIM-MEP-Patent.jpg?x44794" alt="Google Dual eSIM MEP Patent" width="574" height="709" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Google-eSIM-MEP-Patent.jpg 574w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Google-eSIM-MEP-Patent-243x300.jpg 243w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Google-eSIM-MEP-Patent-324x400.jpg 324w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Google-eSIM-MEP-Patent-340x420.jpg 340w" sizes="(max-width: 574px) 100vw, 574px" /></p>
<p>Currently, eSIM allows only one subscriber line to be active at a time. So Google has been working on a way to offer dual-SIM support using a single <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/esim">eSIM</a> chip. For this, the company has developed multiple enabled profiles (MEP), allowing one eSIM element to actively connect to two carriers simultaneously.</p>
<p>Google was granted a patent for this technology back in 2020 and is reportedly planning to include it with the final release of Android 13 during the third quarter of this year.</p>
<p>Apart from Android 13, the support for MEP could be available for other devices, including those running <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/ios">iOS</a>, macOS, and Windows, as mentioned in the patent application. The Pixel series smartphones are reportedly being tested for this new feature and there&#8217;s a possibility that Google could license the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/technology">technology</a> to other companies.</p>
<p>There are a couple of features of the Android 13 that have already leaked online, including support for controlling the brightness level of the flashlight and allowing notifications to be dragged on the display in split-screen mode, among others.</p>

<p>Yes, unlike its predecessors that have a slot for only one SIM card, the Galaxy Z Fold3 has a tray for two physical SIM cards in addition to an eSIM. Technically, you should be able to connect to three networks but we doubt that will be possible.</p>
<p>The addition of an extra SIM slot is definitely good news for users especially frequent travelers and business professionals. You will be able to keep your primary SIM in the device and pop in another one from the country you are in.</p>
<p>The Galaxy Z Fold3 packs a 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED QXGA+ main display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. The cover display is a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED HD+ display with a 120HZ adaptive refresh rate too.</p>
<p>There is a Snapdragon 888 processor under the hood along with 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of non-expandable storage. There is a 10MP camera inside the punch hole of the cover display while the main display has a 4MP under-display camera. On the back of the Galaxy Z Fold3 are three 12MP sensors &#8211; an ultrawide angle camera, a wide-angle (primary camera), and a telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom and 10x digital zoom.</p>
<p>The foldable phone packs a 4400mAh battery with support for 25W fast wired charging, 10W wireless charging, and 4.5W reverse wireless charging. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, an IPX8 rating, stereo speakers, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, and Wi-Fi 6E.</p>

This enables users to use one physical SIM and one digital SIM for connectivity.</p>
<p>The company has kept the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/eSIM">eSIM</a> feature for all the iPhones launched since 2018 and the newly launched Apple iPhone 12 models, which are the company&#8217;s first phones to have 5G support, also have dual SIM connectivity.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-348930 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Apple-iPhone-12.jpg?x44794" alt="Apple iPhone 12" width="980" height="551" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Apple-iPhone-12.jpg 980w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Apple-iPhone-12-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Apple-iPhone-12-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Apple-iPhone-12-696x391.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/Apple-iPhone-12-747x420.jpg 747w" sizes="(max-width: 980px) 100vw, 980px" /></p>
<p>But, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/5g">5G</a> connectivity isn&#8217;t available in the dual SIM mode on the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro models at launch, as per the internal training documents for Apple employees shared on Reddit and <em>MacRumors</em> <a href="https://www.macrumors.com/2020/10/19/5g-dual-sim-mode-software-update-planned/">has confirmed</a> it to be authentic.</p>
<p>The document from the company reads: &#8220;When using two lines in <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/dual-sim">Dual SIM</a> mode, 5G data isn&#8217;t supported on either line and will fall back to 4G LTE. If customers are using eSIM only and are on a 5G supported carrier and service plan, they&#8217;ll have 5G access.&#8221;</p>

This post explains how the dual SIM function works for the different regions.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-211369" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/iPhone-XS-10.38.56.png?x44794" alt="" width="2048" height="1152" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/iPhone-XS-10.38.56.png 2048w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/iPhone-XS-10.38.56-300x169.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/iPhone-XS-10.38.56-768x432.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/iPhone-XS-10.38.56-1024x576.png 1024w" sizes="(max-width: 2048px) 100vw, 2048px" /></p>
<p>For the iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max that will be sold in the US and Europe, they will only support one physical nano-SIM. The second SIM is an eSIM much like what <a href="http://gizmcohina.com/tag/google">Google</a> did with the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/google-pixel-2/">Pixel 2</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/google-pixel-2-xl/">Pixel 2 XL</a>.</p>
<p>Even at that, the only way to be able to use two different carriers is if your device is unlocked. Also, you can&#8217;t use two CDMA networks if your physical SIM is a CDMA carrier. The list of carriers that support eSIMs are still very small but iPhones are very popular and we won&#8217;t be surprised if more networks adopt eSIM support simply because of the new models. To learn more about eSIM technology, you should <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2017/10/11/gizmochina-explains-esim-work/">check out this special article we wrote</a>.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-211475" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/iPhone-Xs-and-iPhone-Xs-Max-Hong-Kong-China-Macau.png?x44794" alt="iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max Hong Kong-China-Macau" width="650" height="430" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/iPhone-Xs-and-iPhone-Xs-Max-Hong-Kong-China-Macau.png 650w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/iPhone-Xs-and-iPhone-Xs-Max-Hong-Kong-China-Macau-300x198.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px" /></p>
<p>For those living in China, Hong Kong, or Macau, the iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max sold there don&#8217;t have an eSIM. Instead, you get to use two physical nano-SIM cards just like a lot of Android dual SIM phones. Both SIM cards use the same tray &#8211; one sits on top and the other sits below with the chip side facing upwards for the top one and facing downwards for the one below.</p>
<p>Owners will be able to make and receive calls from both SIM cards but when you are on a call on one line, calls to the other are sent to voicemail. <a href="http://gizmcohina.com/tag/apple">Apple</a> will also let you set a particular SIM as default for calls or data. This should be familiar to Android users who may be switching to the new iPhones.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-211474" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/iPhone-Xs-and-iPhone-Xs-Max-dual-SIM.jpg?x44794" alt="iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max dual SIM features" width="2048" height="778" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/iPhone-Xs-and-iPhone-Xs-Max-dual-SIM.jpg 2048w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/iPhone-Xs-and-iPhone-Xs-Max-dual-SIM-300x114.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/iPhone-Xs-and-iPhone-Xs-Max-dual-SIM-768x292.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/iPhone-Xs-and-iPhone-Xs-Max-dual-SIM-1024x389.jpg 1024w" sizes="(max-width: 2048px) 100vw, 2048px" /></p>

<p>You will also be able to set which number is used as the default for calling certain contacts. First-time calls to a number use the default number for calling but a specific number can be set under the contact&#8217;s setting. You will also be able to set which line is used for iMessage and FaceTime under settings. Both SIMs will be labeled (P) for Primary and (S) for Secondary by default but you can also change the labels.</p>

<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-78068" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/mx5e-lite-02.jpg?x44794" alt="mx5e lite 02" width="699" height="699" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/mx5e-lite-02.jpg 800w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/mx5e-lite-02-150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/mx5e-lite-02-300x300.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/mx5e-lite-02-768x768.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/mx5e-lite-02-600x600.jpg 600w" sizes="(max-width: 699px) 100vw, 699px" /></p>
<p>In case you are wondering whether you have been out of the loop recently, then worry not. This is an unannounced model and we haven&#8217;t seen any details regarding this particular Lite version until now. However, the company has officially confirmed that the phone is real and it will soon go on sale in China via multiple retailers.</p>
<p>So, what&#8217;s different in the Meizu MX5e Lite version than the regular MX5? From what we could see, there are two major changes. The company has decided to downgrade the processor inside, from MTK MT6795T Helio X10 high version to the standard MT6795 version. So, the clock speed has reduced from 2.2GHz to 2.0GHz. Another major change in the new handset is the rear camera. It&#8217;s also downgraded from 20.7MP to 16MP in this model.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-78067" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/mx5e-lite-03.jpg?x44794" alt="mx5e lite 03" width="617" height="617" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/mx5e-lite-03.jpg 800w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/mx5e-lite-03-150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/mx5e-lite-03-300x300.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/mx5e-lite-03-768x768.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/mx5e-lite-03-600x600.jpg 600w" sizes="(max-width: 617px) 100vw, 617px" /></p>
<p>Other specs remain the same as the regular model. So, you get a 5.5-inch display with 1080p resolution, 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Up front, there will be a 5MP camera sensor. Other features of the handset include dual SIM dual standby, 3150mAh battery and mTouch 2.0 Fingerprint ID. At the moment, the company seems to be selling just the white version of the device.</p>
<p>So, the phone is actually available at 1499 Yuan ($231), on Suning.com. That&#8217;s too close to competitors like the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2015/10/29/oneplus-x-is-official-with-snapdragon-801-will-come-in-a-limited-ceramic-edition/">OnePlus X</a>. There are plenty of other great options in the market at this price. So, we are not entirely sure what Meizu is attempting with this silent release.</p>
<p>So, what&#8217;s your favorite Android smartphone under $250?</p>

<h2>Elephone Four Product Launch 2016 coming on the 15th</h2>
<p>The Elephone Four Product Launch 2016 has now been given an official time and date, at 2.30pm (GMT+8) on January the 15th you will be given full details of four Elephone products.</p>
<p>The P9000 handsets will be shown along with full product details and specifications, hopefully including a chance to see a finalised version of the P9000 Edge, as whilst most of the phones specs are well documented having been covered as part of the recent crowd funding promotion, the P9000 Edge has yet to be seen in the wild, hopefully it can live up to the renders that have been shown previously.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/p9000-Black-White-Front.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="alignnone size-large wp-image-69736" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/p9000-Black-White-Front-1024x576.jpg?x44794" alt="P9000 Black White Front" width="800" height="450" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/p9000-Black-White-Front-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/p9000-Black-White-Front-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/p9000-Black-White-Front-600x338.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/p9000-Black-White-Front-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/p9000-Black-White-Front-640x360.jpg 640w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/p9000-Black-White-Front-681x383.jpg 681w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/p9000-Black-White-Front.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /></a></p>
<p><span class="s1">Their will also be coverage of the Elephone W2 watch, from what we have seen and been told so far it will feature a</span> stainless steel case comparable in quality to those produced by high end watch manufacturers such as Longines and Ronda, along with an internal movement used by makers like Cartier, these are certainly very bold statements to make and a lot of people will doubt them, so lets wait and see if the W2 watch lives up to them.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/ele-watch-w2.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-69756" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/ele-watch-w2.jpg?x44794" alt="ele watch w2" width="999" height="599" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/ele-watch-w2.jpg 999w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/ele-watch-w2-300x180.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/ele-watch-w2-600x360.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/ele-watch-w2-700x420.jpg 700w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/ele-watch-w2-640x384.jpg 640w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/ele-watch-w2-681x408.jpg 681w" sizes="(max-width: 999px) 100vw, 999px" /></a></p>
<p>When it comes to features a cool looking illuminated night light, and will support smart functions such as sleep and sports monitoring, sedentary reminders, call reminders and is compatible with both IOS and Android operating systems.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/ele-watch-w2-3.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-69753" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/ele-watch-w2-3.jpg?x44794" alt="ele watch w2-3" width="999" height="620" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/ele-watch-w2-3.jpg 999w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/ele-watch-w2-3-300x186.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/ele-watch-w2-3-600x372.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/ele-watch-w2-3-677x420.jpg 677w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/ele-watch-w2-3-640x397.jpg 640w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/ele-watch-w2-3-681x423.jpg 681w" sizes="(max-width: 999px) 100vw, 999px" /></a></p>
<p class="p1">Overall the design looks high end and is visually pleasing, the changeable real leather watch strap should also add to the sense of quality and give it a touch of style.</p>
<p class="p1"><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/ele-watch-w2-4.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-69754" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/ele-watch-w2-4.jpg?x44794" alt="ele watch w2-4" width="999" height="629" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/ele-watch-w2-4.jpg 999w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/ele-watch-w2-4-300x189.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/ele-watch-w2-4-600x378.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/ele-watch-w2-4-667x420.jpg 667w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/ele-watch-w2-4-640x403.jpg 640w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/ele-watch-w2-4-681x429.jpg 681w" sizes="(max-width: 999px) 100vw, 999px" /></a></p>
<p class="p1">Elephone will be giving a 50% discount on the watch as part of the Elephone Four Product Launch 2016, but we will need to wait till the 15th to find out exactly what we need to do in order to take advantage of the 50% off offer and if it will be limited to a certain number of applicants.</p>
<p class="p1"><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/ele-watch-w2-5.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-69755" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/ele-watch-w2-5.jpg?x44794" alt="ele watch w2-5" width="999" height="707" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/ele-watch-w2-5.jpg 999w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/ele-watch-w2-5-300x212.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/ele-watch-w2-5-600x425.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/ele-watch-w2-5-593x420.jpg 593w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/ele-watch-w2-5-640x453.jpg 640w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/ele-watch-w2-5-681x482.jpg 681w" sizes="(max-width: 999px) 100vw, 999px" /></a></p>
<p class="p1">Another handset that will be covered as part of the Elephone Four Product Launch 2016, is the M3 Business phone, it will come in two different specification levels, with the differences between versions being the camera and memory specifications.</p>
<p class="p1"><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/Elephone-M3-Pro.png?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="alignnone size-large wp-image-69738" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/Elephone-M3-Pro-1024x632.png?x44794" alt="Elephone M3 Pro" width="800" height="494" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/Elephone-M3-Pro-1024x632.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/Elephone-M3-Pro-300x185.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/Elephone-M3-Pro-600x370.png 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/Elephone-M3-Pro-681x420.png 681w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/Elephone-M3-Pro-640x395.png 640w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/Elephone-M3-Pro.png 1399w" sizes="(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /></a></p>
<p class="p1">The top of spec M3 includes a 5.5″ LG screen, USB Type-C 3.0, 21MP Sony230 camera, Android 6.0 and fingerprint scanner.</p>
<p class="p1">Both versions of the M3 feature Network B allowing them to be used all around the world including America.</p>

<p class="p1">The aviation grade aluminium body will come in a range of three colours rose gold, champagne gold and smoky grey.</p>
<div class="description">
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">As mentioned above there will be a mystery product covered at the Elephone Products Conference 2016, what do you think it will be? another handset range? perhaps a Vape unit? possibly a drone? its hard to say with Elephone as they are constantly evolving their range of products, meaning that we will have to wait for the Elephone Products Conference 2016 to find out for sure.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Elephone will be updating their official twitter, Google+, Facebook and VK accounts throughout the day, allowing you to keep up with the updates as they happen.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">So will you be tuning in for the Elephone Four Product Launch 2016? are you waiting to find out more about the P9000 Edge? or are you intrigued by the mystery device? </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Elephone have recently tried very hard to shake off their image as a provider of good hardware with limited support, their use of higher quality components has helped as has the work they have done with software updates for older handsets.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">  I have personally been using my Elephone P8000 again from the 1st of January (having lost my Samsung S5) the handset has come on leaps and bounds with recent OS updates making it into the phone it should have been at launch.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">If they can bring out the P9000 and M3 phones with a great rom and the attention to detail they deserve this could be the year that Elephone return to favour, if they get the software wrong however it could be hard to come back from.</span></p>
<p class="p1">Please feel free to leave comments or questions below</p>
<p class="p1">Regards Shane</p>

<p><a href="http://oukitel.cc/">Oukitel</a> are all set to release the new improved K4000 Pro, lets have a look at the specs of both phones and see what improvements Oukitel have managed to make to the new handset.</p>
<p>The new K4000 Pro will be seen by many as more of a K4000+ the  newer handset sees some styling tweaks and some under the hood enhancements that  should make the original K4000 even better.</p>
<h2>So whats not been changed?</h2>
<p class="p1">Both the original K4000 and the newer K4000 Pro feature 5-inch HD displays (1280 x 720p resolution) and are powered by 1ghz Quad-Core 64bit Cortex-A53 Mediatek MT6735P processors, these are not the most powerful CPU&#8217;s but should do an ok job for most everyday needs.</p>
<p class="p1">Ram and Rom configurations are the same between both handsets with 16GB ROM  and 2GB RAM and both feature the same camera pairing of 8.0 mega pixel (13 Mega Pixel interpolated) rear facing camera and 2.0 Mega Pixel (5 Mega Pixel interpolated) front facing camera.</p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Like the original K4000 the newer K4000 Pro will come with Android Lollipop 5.1, with a confirmed upgrade path to Android Lollipop 6.0 on the K4000 Pro. </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Given that both handsets share a lot of components in common, it would be a fairly safe bet that the original K4000 will also see the upgrade to 6.0 </span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">USB OTG functions like reverse charging will also make a return on the K4000 pro, when used with an OTG cable.</span></p>
<h2>So whats changed?</h2>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">The original OUKITEL K4000 featured a large removable 4000mAh battery, whilst the K4000 Pro sees an increased to 4600mAh whilst still remaining removable.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">In order to make maximum use of the battery without making charge times to long, Oukitel have increased the original K4000 charging from 5V/1.0A  to 5V/1.5A this is a 0.5A increase in charging power and should see both the K4000 Pro and the K4000 fully charged within 3-3.5 hours.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Oukitel have also improved network coverage on the K4000 Pro, both handsets support the following bands, 2G(GSM850/900/1800/1900MH) and 3G(WCDMA 900/2100MHz) </span><span class="s1"> 4G FDD LTE B1/3/7/20 (2100/1800/2600/800MHz). the newer K4000 Pro adds one more band: B8 (900MHz).</span></p>
<p class="p3"><span class="s1">There have also been a few structural changes K4000 pro, the screen is now 1.1mm thick, making the glass more durable and up to three times stronger, the K4000 Pro also has an  improved corner design to its 2.5D CNC ARC craft metal design, that should help the phone to further resist damage when dropped.</span></p>
<p class="p1"><span class="s1">Another improvement to the phone comes in the styling department, the Oukitel K4000 Pro now has a</span><span class="s2"> crocodile leather textured back cover, this should hopefully make the phone comfortable in the hand whilst also helping to reduce the chances of dropping the phone.</span></p>
<p class="p1">As soon as a review sample finds its way to me, I will do a full handset review.</p>
<p class="p1">So what do you guys think? does the Oukitel K4000 Pro have enough extras for you? are you a K4000 owner? would you consider purchasing the new model for its improved battery? or will you wait for the K6000 Pro? or perhaps one of the other great phones that are due this year.</p>
<p class="p1">Hopefully Oukitel will continue the strong push they had at the end of 2015 and will start to bring out more 2016 phones with processing power to match their impressive batteries.</p>
<p class="p1">For now please leave comments and questions below.</p>
<p class="p1">Regards Shanos</p>
<p class="p1">The original K4000 can be <a href="http://shrsl.com/?~ayj5">purchased here</a></p>

<p class="p1">As yet we have not been made aware of the expected Rom and Ram configurations for the M3 Pro, I would hope that the Elephone M3 Pro will come with at least 3GB of Ram and 32gb Rom but I will have to let you know for certain as more information is released.</p>

<p><a href="http://oukitel.cc">Oukitel</a> have today sent over a Hands on video of the Oukitel K6000 pro showing off some menus on of the phone.</p>
<p>Checking out the video it would appear that the Oukitel K6000 Pro&#8217;s body and styling are similar to the original K6000, this time Oukitel have included a rear mounted finger print scanner.</p>
<p>Like the original K6000 the handset in the video does appear to be quite thick and large, possibly down to the small hands of the person using it combined with the fact the K6000 Pro like its younger brother features a 6000mAh battery.</p>
<p>Other notable points that help to set the newer Pro model apart from the original K6000 include the increased screen resoloution which has been bumped up from HD 720p to FHD 1080p, whilst the Quad core Mediatek MT6735 running at 1GHZ found in the original K6000 has also been upgraded to an Octa core Mediatek MT6753 running at 1.3GHZ.</p>
<p>If you like the idea of a phone with battery life that could see 2 or more days between charges but want even more processing power to make use of the onboard 6000mAh battery, a third option will also be made available, the Oukitel K6000 Premium which will come with 2k screen but more impressive will be the Deca core Mediatek MT6797 running at 2.5GHZ.</p>
<p>I am currently testing the original Oukitel K6000, the review for this should be finished in the next couple of days.</p>
<p>If Oukitel can get the rom right on either the Pro or the Premium versions of the K6000 running as smoothly as they have on the original K6000 and keep the battery life half decent this phone should attract a lot of buyers.</p>
<p>Check out the Hands on video of the Oukitel K6000 pro and leave questions or comments below</p>
<p>Regards Shanos</p>

<h2 class="p3">Oukitel K4000 Pro with Android Marshmallow</h2>
<p class="p3"><span class="s1">It would seem that a lot of China based phone companies are looking to get on to the Marshmallow band waggon at the moment, Oukitel not wanting to be left behind have been working on the <a href="http://www.oukitel.cc">Oukitel</a> K4000 Pro with Android Marshmallow.</span></p>
<p class="p3"><span class="s1">From the information received today it would appear that this is  not the K4000 Pro&#8217;s official Rom, but is however the work of some of their technical guys.</span></p>
<p class="p3"><span class="s1">It would appear that their curiosity got the better of them and they decided to see if they could endow the Oukitel K4000 Pro with Android Marshmallow via a port of the highly regarded CyanogenMod 13 ROM.</span></p>
<p class="p3">I would love to see it in action and get a list of whats working and more importantly whats not working, but for now will have to make do with the knowledge that Oukitel are at least trying.</p>
<p class="p3">Not much more is known about the K4000 Pro, we do know that like its non Pro little brother it will come with a 5000mAh battery, and that the battery works with Flash Charge Technology (5v/1.5a) to give fast charge times.</p>
<p class="p2">The K4000 Pro will also feature a 2.5D curved Arc design screen that is 1.1mm thick (as opposed to 0.7mm which is standard for most phones), this should help to make the screen a lot more resistant to drop based cracking.</p>
<p class="p3"><span class="s1">Whilst not shown in the picture, It has also been confirmed that the rear cover will feature a crocodile skin textured plastic design.</span></p>
<p class="p3">The K4000 Pro comes with support for the following networks</p>
<p class="p3"><span class="s1">4G LTE FDD Five-Band: 800/ 900/ 1800/ 2100/ 2600 </span></p>
<p class="p3">I will keep you informed as and when we get more news and information on the K4000 Pro</p>
<p class="p3">For now please feel free to leave any questions or comments below.</p>

<p>Besides the dual-SIM feature, HTC One (M8) Dual SIM has the same specifications as its single-SIM variant. They are both equipped with a 5-inch display, powered by the Snapdragon801 processor and run on Android Kitkat with its Sense 6.0 UI. However, for photo lovers, the selling point of HTC One (M8), both single-SIM or dual-SIM, should be its dual rear cameras, including a 4-UltraPixel camera and a depth sensing camera.</p>
<p>It is likely that HTC One (M8) Dual SIM will come only in the color of Gunmetal Grey. HTC does not say whether this dual-SIM flagship smartphone will come to other countries, but we are sure that it will be available soon in Russia and will not make it in the US.</p>
