Xiaomi is gearing up for the launch of its latest flagship handset, the Xiaomi 12. The device is set to launch next month, but prior to its release, a tipster has revealed some details regarding the upcoming smartphone.

According to known Weibo tipster DigitalChatStation (Via SparrowNews), the Chinese tech giant’s next gen premium smartphone will feature a 50 megapixel primary camera that features OIS support along with an ultra wide angle lens and a macro sensor. Furthermore, he added that the curved display on either sides will be the standard on the entire Xiaomi 12 series. The tipster also claimed that the 12 series will arrive with a symmetrical stereo speaker design as well.

In other words, we can expect a dual stereo speaker system. The last generation’s Xiaomi 11 series also featured a dual speaker design, although, the stereo speakers had an asymmetrical design. Unfortunately, this is all the information shares on the Chinese microblogging website. But since it is still an unconfirmed report, we suggest you take it with a pinch of salt for now.

As per previous reports, the company is working on a Xiaomi 12X model as well along with the base variant. While the 12X is expected to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC, the flagship model is set to be one of the first smartphones to feature the next gen Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 mobile platform. Realme has confirmed that the brand’s latest smartphone, dubbed Realme GT Neo2, is all set to go official on 22nd September. Ahead of the launch, the company has been shared key features of the device.

In the latest development, Xu Qi, Vice President at Realme and President of Realme China confirmed that the upcoming GT Neo2 smartphone will come with dual stereo speakers and will the first batch of devices will also support Dolby Atmos Games.

The company has already confirmed that the smartphone will feature a 6.62-inch Full HD+ E4 AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, 1300nits brightness, DC Dimming, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

It is also confirmed to come with an in-display fingerprint sensor for added security. Realme has also revealed that the device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset and have a diamond ice core cooling system.

The device is expected to pack up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. As for the camera configuration, it has been reported that the smartphone will be having a triple-camera setup on the back, consisting of a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary lens, and a 2-megapixel tertiary camera.

The Realme GT Neo2 will come powered by a 5,000mAh battery and have support for 65W fast charging technology. We expect the smartphone to be running the Android 11 operating system out-of-the-box with the company’s own Realme UI on top.

A recent report claims that along with the Snapdragon 870 SoC, there will be another model of the smartphone that will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200-AI chipset and some minor changes internally.

Coming to the pricing, the MediaTek-powered variant could be priced around 2,000 yuan, which is approximately $310 while the Qualcomm-powered variant, which is said to be focused on gaming, is expected to cost around 2,500 yuan, about $387.

iQOO, the premium smartphone sub-brand from Vivo, is all set to launch its new device in the Chinese market, dubbed iQOO Neo5 Vitality Edition on 24th May. Ahead of the launch, the company has revealed some features of the device.

In the latest teaser poster shared by the company, it confirms that the phone will come with a 3.5mm headphone jack, allowing users to connect their earphones with an audio jack directly to the phone — a feature that has become rare nowadays.

That is not all about the phone’s audio experience. Along with that, iQOO has also revealed that the upcoming device from the brand features dual or stereo speakers that are claimed to offer three-dimensional audio.

The TENAA listing of the iQOO Neo5 Vitality Edition has already revealed that the device will be sporting a 6.57-inch Full HD+ OLED display panel that will be offering a 144Hz refresh rate. It is also said to offer an improved viewing experience under sunlight and it will be able to convert low-quality SDR content to HDR level.

Underneath, the phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset which has managed to record an impressive benchmarking score of 742,444 points. Further, the device will pack up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. There’s also memory fusion technology that uses available storage capacity as virtual memory.

As for the camera configuration, the smartphone will have a triple-camera setup on the back, featuring a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary lens, and a 2-megapixel sensor. On the front side, it features a 16-megapixel camera sensor for taking selfies and video calling.

The Neo5 Vitality Edition could draw power from a 4,430mAh rated battery which is likely to ship with a 44W charge. From the official images of the phone, it seems that the device will be made available in two colors — Black and White.

The iQOO Neo 3 smartphone will be launching on April 23. Ahead of its release, the brand has been teasing its features for a few days now. As part of its marketing campaign, the company has now revealed the device to come with dual stereo speakers on Weibo.

The new teaser says the iQOO Neo 3 will feature dual linear speakers along with the HiFi Amplifier chip to offer crisp and loud sound without any distortion. The speakers will also have a huge large sound cavity equivalent to 1.05CC.

The brand claims the speakers on the phone to output more dynamic, transient, and pure sound. It advertises them to be well-suited for movies, games, and music, especially when holding the handset horizontally while consuming content.

Today, we also got to see the rear design of iQOO Neo 3, courtesy of another teaser poster shared by the brand’s president Feng Yufei. It will feature a triple camera setup possibly consisting of a 48MP primary shooter paired with un ultra-wide unit an unknown sensor.

The cameras are placed on a rectangular bump like any other smartphones these days. The teaser showcased the handset in Blue / Purple colour but it is also expected to come in Orange colour just like iQOO 3.

Other confirmed specs of the device include Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, 6GB / 8GB RAM, 128GB / 256GB UFS 3.1 ROM, FHD+ IPS LCD panel with punch-hole and 144Hz refresh rate, 4,500 mAh battery, 44W fast charging, and 2,998 Yuan ($424) starting price.
