The Motorola Edge 30 Neo has gone official. Unlike the Edge 30 Ultra and Edge 30 Fusion, which are rebranded versions of the Moto X30 Pro and S30 Pro that are available in China, the Edge 30 Neo is an entirely new device. It is a compact device featuring a 120Hz OLED display, a Snapdragon 6-series chipset, dual rear cameras, and 68W fast charging.

The Edge 30 Neo has a 6.28-inch P-OLED display with a punch-hole design. For security, it offers features as an in-display fingerprint scanner and face unlock.

Motorola is going to announce the new Edge 30 series of smartphones on Sept. 8. Several reports have claimed that the brand will announce three devices, the Edge 30 Ultra, the Edge 30 Fusion, and the Edge 30 Neo. Before launch, Nils Ahrensmeier has shared the press renders of the Ultra and Neo models.

The Edge 30 Ultra can be seen sporting a curved edge display with a punch-hole placed at the top-centre position. Its back panel has a 200-megapixel triple camera unit with OIS support. For security, it is equipped with an in-screen fingerprint scanner. It appears that the device will come in two colors: black and white.

The Edge 30 Ultra will debut as a rebranded version of the Moto X30 Pro. The Edge 30 Neo is an upcoming Motorola smartphone. The device is expected to arrive as a rebranded version of the Edge 30 Lite, which is yet to go official. The Edge 30 Neo has now appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking site (via. MySmartPrice), which indicates that it will be launched in the next few days.

The Motorola Edge 30 Neo Geekbench listing shows it is powered by a Qualcomm chipset, which has six CPU cores clocking at 1.80GHz and two CPU cores ticking at 2.21 GHz. The source code of the listing reveals that the chip includes an Adreno 619 GPU. These details reveal that it will be yet another Motorola phone featuring the Snapdragon 695 chipset.

The device has appeared with 8 GB of RAM and Android 12 OS on Geekbench 5. It scored 664 points in the single-core test and 1848 points in the multi-core test.
