<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/EMUI-11/"><span style="font-weight: 400">EMUI 11</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> was officially unveiled at the HUAWEI DEVELOPER CONFERENCE 2020 in September. Though the company’s latest mobile software is still based on Android 10 just like </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/EMUI-10-1/"><span style="font-weight: 400">EMUI 10.1</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> and </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/EMUI-10/"><span style="font-weight: 400">EMUI 10</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">, it brings a host of new features and functionalities. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Also, the firm has even promised to add some </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/09/12/emui-11-devices-will-be-getting-select-android-11-features-and-upgrade-to-harmonyos/"><span style="font-weight: 400">select Android 11 features </span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">before updating the eligible devices to HarmonOS next year.</span></p>

Because these two features are limited to certain regions in China and our coverage was based on global ROM. </span></p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">But now, as Huawei has</span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/11/05/huawei-p40-pro-plus-mate-30-pro-5g-emui-11-stable-update/"><span style="font-weight: 400"> begun to roll out EMUI 11 stable builds</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">, users in China started sharing the presence of the ‘Earthquake Warning’ feature on Weibo. <p><span style="font-weight: 400">Similarly, EMUI 11 also brings another unique feature called &#8216;Video Alarm&#8217;. This enables users to video call the police in the event of an emergency. Currently, this feature is limited to the Guangdong Province.</span></p>
