Samsung is currently working on upgrading its range of smartphones in the budget segment, by introducing several new ‘S’ variants of popular devices in the Galaxy A and M lineup in the second half of the year. The latest entrant is the Galaxy A20s, which popped-up recently during TENAA certification. The model number of the upcoming A20s is SM-A2070, and the device is very similar to the Galaxy M30 in terms of external aesthetics. Also, 91mobiles has shared the specs sheet of the phone to reveal the key specs of the phone.

Samsung Galaxy A20s Specifications (Rumored)

The Galaxy A20s leak by the publication has revealed that it features a 6.49-inch Infinity V-display with a waterdrop notch housing the front camera. It is powered by the same 14nm 1.6GHz octa-core Samsung Exynos 7884 SoC found on the Galaxy A20. The smartphone gets 4GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage, which is expandable up to 512GB with a microSD card. The leak has no details on the camera specifications at the moment, but images from the TENAA listing show that it is equipped with a vertically-mounted triple camera layout with an LED flash.

The Galaxy A20s draws power from a 3,000mAh battery, which is a bit of a letdown considering the A20 had a 4,000 mAh battery. There is no word on fast charging capabilities yet. The Galaxy A20s runs on Android 9.0 Pie out-of-the-box. Connectivity options include dual-SIM 4G LTE, Bluetooth V4.2, USB charging port and a 3.5mm AUX port. The smartphone sports a dedicated rear panel-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The leak further reveals that the smartphone has an accelerometer, light sensor and proximity sensor. The volume and power controls are on the left side of the device. According to the TENAA listing, the Galaxy A20s measures 163.31 x 77.52 x 7.99 mm. The handset may come in two color options, namely black and blue. There is no information on when Samsung plans to launch the device globally. But the device recently passed the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi certification, meaning that the launch date is right around the corner.

On Tuesday, Samsung announced three new Galaxy A-series smartphones in the U.S. such as Galaxy A50, Galaxy A20 and Galaxy A10e. While the A50 and A20 smartphones have already gone official in other markets, the A10e phone has been announced for the first market time in the U.S. The South Korean company has not shared the detailed specs of the Galaxy A10e smartphone yet. However, it has confirmed that the phone will be priced at $179.

The Galaxy A50 and Galaxy A20 smartphones have been respectively introduced in the U.S. with respective price tags of $349 and $249. The availability of the Galaxy A20 and Galaxy A10e smartphones will be declared later by the company. The sales of the Galaxy A50 will kick off in the U.S starting from today through Verizon Wireless. Later this summer, it will be made available through other wireless carriers in the U.S.

Through a press release, Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy A10e features a 5.83-inch Infinity-V display. The rear side of the phone houses a camera of 8-megapixel. The native storage of the smartphone is 32 GB and it is equipped with a 3,000mAh battery. The rest of the specs of the phone are currently under the wraps. The Galaxy A10e is a toned-down version of the affordable Galaxy A10 smartphone.

In February, the South Korean company had launched the Galaxy A10 in India. The handset was introduced with a price tag of Rs. 8,490 (~$122). The Galaxy A10 has a 6.2-inch HD+ display with Infinity-V notch and it comes with a bigger battery of 3,400mAh capacity. Also, it is fitted with a better 13-megapixel rear camera. Like the A10e, the A10 phone features 32 GB of inbuilt storage.  The A10 is fitted with a front camera of 5-megapixel.

The Galaxy A10 is fueled by Samsung’s Exynos 7884 chipset. The Geekbench listing of the A10e smartphone that was spotted in the recent past had shown that it will be driven by the same SoC. The A10 smartphone does not feature a fingerprint scanner. Hence, it is likely that the A10e won’t feature it. As far as the design of the phone is concerned, the A10e will largely resemble the A10 smartphone.

Samsung has launched Galaxy A10, Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50 smartphones in India. Aimed towards the millennials, the A30 and A50 are mid-range devices whereas the A10 is an entry-level smartphone. Unlike the Galaxy series phones such as M10, M20 and M30 that are exclusively available online, the newly unveiled Galaxy A10, A30 and A50 phones are available for purchase through offline and online stores.

Samsung Galaxy A50, A30 and A10 Specifications and Features

The Galaxy A50 and Galaxy A30 are equipped with similar specs. The Galaxy A50 features a 6.4-inch S-AMOLED display with Infinity-U notch design. It carries support for full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and 91.6 percent screen space. The Galaxy A30 flaunts the same display. The Galaxy A50 is fitted with an in-display fingerprint scanner whereas the A30 has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. When it comes to design, both phones are equipped with 3D Glasstic that is nothing but glossy plastic chassis.

The Galaxy A50 is the first smartphone to feature the Exynos 9610 chipset. The SoC is supported by up to 6 GB of RAM. It is equipped with an internal storage of 64 GB. The Galaxy A30 is powered by Exynos 7904 phones that also drives the recently released Galaxy M30 and Galaxy M20 smartphones. It features 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of native storage. The 15W fast charging through USB-C enabled 4,000mAh batteries are packed inside both phones.

The Galaxy A50 Is blessed with a triple camera unit that includes a 25-megapixel primary sensor with autofocus and f/1.7 aperture, a 5-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture and an 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture. It has a front-facing camera of 25-megapixel. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A30 has a dual camera setup with f/1.6 aperture 16-megapixel main sensor and 5-megapixel ultra wide-angle lens. The selfie notch of the A30 is the home for f/2.0 aperture 16-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Galaxy A10 is a weaker phone compared to the Galaxy A30 and A50 phones. It has a 6.2-inch Infinity-V display design enabled LCD panel that supports HD+ resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels. The Exynos 7884 SoC, 2 GB of RAM and 3,400mAh battery are present under the hood of the device. It has an inbuilt storage of 32 GB. The back panel of the phone has a 13-megapixel sensor with f/1.9 aperture. The A10 offers its users with f/2.0 aperture 5-megapixel selfie shooter. It lacks support for fingerprint sensor.

The newly Galaxy A series phones are all preloaded with One UI based Android 9 Pie OS. They are also equipped with microSD card slots for additional storage. The A10, A30 and A50 are packed with usual connectivity features such as dual-SIM support, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS and 3.5mm audio jack.

Samsung Galaxy A50, A30 and A10 Price and Release Date

The 4 GB and 6 GB RAM editions of the Galaxy A50 are respectively priced at Rs. 19,990 (~$279) and Rs. 22,990 (~$325). The Galaxy A30 costs Rs. 16,990 (~$239) whereas the Galaxy A10 carries a price tag of Rs. 8,490 (~$119).
