OPPO‘s F and R series usually come with almost similar designs. That could get even more similar with the upcoming OPPO F9 Pro and R17. The Chinese company is expected to launch the F9 and F9 Pro in India and other markets outside China. OPPO India has now released a teaser for the F9 Pro today and it is similar t what we have seen of the R17. The teaser clear shows both the front and back design of the device and goes to confirm the presence of a redesigned valley notch. Even though this is similar to that of the Essential Phone, it is different in that the notch isn’t a U-shaped one but is shaped like a valley.

The F9 Pro teaser poster also confirms the presence of a dual camera setup at the rear. In addition, the teaser clearly states that the device will come with OPPO’s VOOC fast charging with 5 minutes of charge touted to deliver 2 hours of talk time. Although it wasn’t expressly stated, the teaser also suggests that the device will have a waterproof body but no word on the IP rating yet.

There is no word yet on its launch date but we don’t expect the OPPO F9 Pro to launch until OPPO has taken the wraps off the R17 in China. The poster only stated that the device is “coming soon”.
