FiiO pulled a rabbit out of the hat with its award-winning M11 Pro Music Player last year. The company has now officially announced the improved version, the M11 Plus Digital Music Player with upgraded specs and features. From upgraded CPU to the recent Android 10 OS, the M11 Plus fixes almost all the limitations of its predecessor.

As mentioned, FiiO has upgraded the CPU unit from Exynos 7872 to Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 660 processor offering a faster, better, fluid user interface. Unlike the M11 Pro, which comes pre-loaded with Android 7.0, the M11 Plus boasts the newer Android 10 operating system. The M11 Plus brings 4GB of RAM(3GB on the M11 Pro) while the internal storage is the same 64 GB as on the M11 Pro. A decent 5.5” bezel-less display with an 18:9 ratio should offer you a rich visual experience.

The company has made changes in terms of appearances including the innovative physical volume buttons rather than the shell on the M11 Pro. While the DAC and AMP part is kept the same as the FiiO M11 Pro. Coming to the DAC setup, it is equipped with a dual DAC setup featuring two AK4497EQ DAC chips paired to the THX AA-78 amplification module. For the unversed, the AK4497EQ DAC chips are currently out of production that makes the quantity of M11 Plus very limited.

In case if you’re wondering about the options available, the M11 Plus comes in two variants, the Aluminum Alloy edition, and Stainless Steel Edition. They’re priced well with the tag being as low as 749$ and 899.99$ respectively. The device features three headphone output ports(3.5mm+2.5mm+4.4mm) same as the M11 Pro model.
