The company had already confirmed the India launch of the Find X9s back in February during a MediaTek event, where it revealed that the phone will be powered by the Dimensity 9500s chipset.

This also indicates a split strategy. The Find X9s Pro, which is expected to feature dual 200MP cameras, may remain limited to China. Global markets are likely to get the Find X9s instead, which comes with a different camera setup.

OPPO has shared a teaser showing the Find X9s in orange, light purple, and dark grey or black. The phone carries a square camera module similar to other models in the series, but without the extended camera design seen on the Pro variant.

On the front, the Find X9s is expected to use a flat display with 1.15mm bezels. Both the Find X9s and the Pro model are likely using LIPO packaging, which helps reduce bezel thickness and gives the screen a more edge-to-edge look.

The listing reveals the model number CPH2841, confirming that this is the international version of the Find X9 Ultra.

According to the Geekbench database, the Oppo Find X9 Ultra will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. It is paired with the Adreno 840 GPU, which should handle graphics-intensive tasks like gaming and high-resolution video processing with ease.

The device tested on Geekbench comes with 12GB of RAM, running on Android 16 out of the box.

In terms of performance scores, the Find X9 Ultra achieved 3,584 points in the single-core test and 10,812 points in the multi-core test.

While Geekbench results don’t always reflect real-world usage perfectly, the raw numbers do reveal their processing strength.

Oppo Find X9 Ultra Expected Specifications

Aside from the Snapdragon chip, the Find X9 Ultra is said to feature a 6.82-inch OLED display with 2K resolution, similar to its predecessor.

The phone has a beefy camera setup including a 200-megapixel main sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 200-megapixel 3x periscope telephoto camera for portraits and a 50MP telephoto with 10x optical zoom support. For selfies, it will use a 50-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Find X9 Ultra, on the other hand, could come in Orange, Black, and Brown finishes. As for the foldable Find N6, Oppo is reportedly planning to offer it in Orange and Titanium colours.

In terms of specifications, earlier reports suggest that the Oppo Find X9s could feature a 6.3-inch flat display with 1.5K resolution. In this recent post, DCS claims that the Find X9 Ultra will only have a 1.5K resolution (around 1200p). It will still feature LTPO tech for variable refresh rate support. This is a surprising downgrade for the Find X9 Ultra. Digital Chat Station is a known tipster who has had a decent track record with this leaks and tips. However, an Oppo executive denied this claim. As per Oppo’s Zhou Yibao, this rumor is fake.

Unfortunately, the senior official refrained from elaborating any further and didn’t reveal any other details. Oppo is not ready to give up on its dual periscope camera setup just yet. According to a new leak from reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, the upcoming Oppo Find X9 Ultra will once again be the only flagship among its peers to feature two periscope telephoto lenses.

While many brands are sticking to a single telephoto, Oppo has been going in the opposite direction for a few generations now. 

The Find X9 Ultra is reportedly equipped with a quad-camera system co-developed with Hasselblad. The primary could be a 200MP sensor joined by three 50MP lenses. 

Among them, two are periscope telephotos while the remaining is an ultrawide sensor. That makes it one of the few phones in the industry to offer two 50MP sensors on the back.
