Samsung has just rereleased its 2024 flagship phone in a brand new variant. The company recently teased the Galaxy S24 with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, and now, this model has finally gone on sale for under Rs 40,000 during the Flipkart Big Billion Day sale.

To recall, the South Korean tech giant first unveiled the Galaxy S24 with the Exynos 2400. Only South Korea and the US got the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 variant. This marks a massive discount over the Rs 74,999 retail price. That’s not all, Samsung is also offering various other discounts, bringing the effective price down to just Rs 38,999.

Samsung’s Galaxy S24 Snapdragon Edition only switches the chipset. So the rest of the specs remain the same. The device is powered by a 4,000mAh battery pack with 25W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging. It sports a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Nothing Phone (3) for just Rs 34,999: But here’s the catch

To recall, the brand unveiled the Nothing Phone (3) as its first true flagship smartphone, with a premium starting price tag of Rs 79,999. This price tag had initially alienated some of the original fans of the Nothing high end phones, since it marked a notable jump in pricing. But now, the company will soon sell the Nothing Phone (3) for just Rs 34,999, which is basically a sizeable Rs 45,000 discount.

Keep in mind that this price slash includes bank discounts and exchange offers. For Nothing Phone (1) and Phone (2) owners, exchanging their older devices gets the best deal. So existing Nothing smartphone users will need to enter the IMEI number on either the company’s official website or Flipkart to receive a unique discount code. This is not the only new device that is receiving the discount, as Nothing also plans to make its mid range and budget phones more affordable during the Flipkart Big Billion Day sales.

On the popular e-commerce platform, the Pixel 7a can be purchased for a price of just 31,499 INR. This marks a sizeable 28 percent discount. It is worth noting that this deal includes a 1,500 additional exchange bonus.

Currently, the device is listed for 32,999 INR as of right now, and the smartphone exchange will lower it down to 31,499 INR. Keep in mind that the 32,999 INR pricing is also available through the eligible bank discount for the Pixel 7a. Although the brand has yet to confirm these banks. So is it worth it to buy an iPhone 12 64GB at Rs. 35,999? Well, common sense would say no because the smartphone is already 3 years old and 64GB internal storage is far too low in this day and age. Additionally, there are a whole lot of capable Android smartphones that would serve you better at this price range like the Nothing Phone (2), which will be available for as low as Rs. 32,999 during the Flipkart BBD sale. You can also take a look at the iPhone 13 which will drop below Rs. 40,000 on Amazon. Notably, this wasn’t the only model from the brand to see impressive sales, as the POCO M4 Pro model also sales reaching a whopping 300,000 units during this same period while the X4 Pro 5G registered more than 150,000 units in sales as well. However, the C31 was undoubtedly the top selling model from the brand with an impressive 400,000 units being shipped.

With the Flipkart Big Billion Days sale kicking off a couple of days ago, buyers across India were offered great deals on a number of products. This was especially true for electronic devices. But while some deals were pretty decent, some deals were maybe too good to be true as a buyer almost got scammed for a laptop purchase.

The news arrives from a popular post in LinkedIn. An IIM Ahmedabad student from Delhi, India had ordered a laptop from Flipkart during the Big Billion Days sales. However, rather than getting a notebook PC, the buyer only got detergent soap bars in the box. Furthermore, the buyer, Yashaswi Sharma, also claimed that the Flipkart Customer support also denied them the refund, despite opting for the ‘open box’ delivery option.

Although, in a comment later on, it was confirmed that Flipkart had began the refund process. The open box system is basically eligible for certain products on the e-commerce platform. Through this, buyers can unbox the new package in front of the delivery agent and can accept the delivery if they are satisfied with the item. Sharma stated that the issue occurred since his father collected the package, being unaware of the open box process.

But fortunately, the buyer had a CCTV video that showed that even the delivery agent was not aware of the open box delivery system. However, the company stated that “No return possible. This is our final stance. This matter cannot be escalated further.” But Yashaswi stated that “A relative filed a complaint at the local police station with relevant proofs. The Flipkart team contacted me to inform that a refund has been processed, although I haven’t received it yet.”

POCO X4 Pro 5G

The POCO X4 Pro 5G is a well-rounded budget-range 5G device that offers a 6.67-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a Snapdragon 695 chipset, and a 64-megapixel triple camera unit.

It launched with a starting price of Rs 18,999 (~$252) in India, however, Flipkart will be offering the smartphone at a starting price of Rs. 15,499 (for the 6GB + 64GB model. Additionally, ICICI and AXIS bank users will be able to avail up to Rs. 1,500 discount on the purchase. The 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB will see similar price cuts, bringing their base prices down to Rs. 16,499 and Rs. 18,499. These models will also get the same bank offers as the base variant.

POCO M4 Pro 5G

The M4 Pro 5G from POCO is another affordable 5G smartphone that comes with a 6.5-inch FHD+ 90Hz LCD panel and is powered by the Dimensity 810 chipset, along with a 5000mAh battery. As for optics, the device comes with a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide, and a 16-megapixel front camera.

The device debuted in India for Rs. 14,999 (4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant). However, it will be available for a Rs 3,500 discount, bringing its price down to Rs 11,499. This will likely include a base discount and a bank offer. However, the details are currently unknown. Other RAM and storage configurations are expected to receive similar price cuts.

POCO M4 5G

The POCO M4 5G will also be going on a discount during the Big Billion Days Sale. The device was launched in India at Rs. 12,999 for the 4GB + 64GB option, while the 6GB + 128GB model retails at Rs. 14,999. During the sale, the base model will cost Rs. 10,999 while the 6GB + 128GB model will cost Rs. 12,999. Additionally, Axis Bank and ICICI bank card users will get a discount of up to Rs. 1,500, bringing the prices further down to Rs. 9,499 and Rs. 11,499 for the 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB models, respectively.

For this price, customers will get a 6.58-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a Mediatek Dimensity 700 SoC paired with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage, a dual camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary unit, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an 8-megapixel front camera. The device has a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging and it booth MIUI 13 for Poco based on Android 12 out of the box.

During the sale, those that are looking to buy the new phone can find this on Flipkart for a price tag of just 29,999 INR. When adding the various bank offers, this price falls even lower. Axis Bank and ICICI Bank card holders can avail an additional 1,000 INR discount, while there is also an ICICI credit card discount of 2,250 INR. This basically brings down the price to just 26,749 INR. But we’re not done yet, since Flipkart is also offering an extra 3,000 INR discount upon exchange of select smartphone models, which should bring its price down to just 23,749 INR that makes it an attractive deal.

Oppo Reno 8 Pro 5G

The Reno 8 Pro 5G is the higher end variant in the new Reno 8 series. It packs a power MediaTek Dimensity 8100 MAX processor and features a more robust 50 megapixel triple camera setup on the rear. Since its a more premium model, its design also includes a glass pack panel compared to the plastic one on the Reno 8. Meanwhile, the front sports a large 6.7 inch AMOLED panel that has a 120Hz refresh rate and even supports HDR10+.

The Reno 8 Pro has a price tag of 52,999 INR, making it an entry flagship level smartphone. However, the Flipkart Big Billion Days Sale offers this device for a discounted price of just 45,999 INR. Arriving at the offers, Axis and ICICI Bank Card holders can avail a 1,500 INR discount, with ICICI credit card users getting an additional 1,500 INR discount, which brings the price down to just 42,999 INR. But, the exchange offer on select phones applies here as well, and another 4,000 INR off helps bring the price down to around 38,999 INR.

Oppo F19 Pro+ 5G

Another notable deal being offered on Flipkart is the F19 Pro+ 5G. This is another mid range smartphone from the company that is equipped with a Dimensity 800U. For optics, it features a 48 megapixel quad camera setup on the rear. Meanwhile, the front sports a 6.43 inch Super AMOLED display that has a FHD+ resolution and standard 60Hz refresh rate.

This Oppo model was launched in India for a price of 25,990 INR. But now, the device is being sold for just 17,990 INR during the Big Billion Days sale. Furthermore, another 10 percent instant discount is also being offered to Axis Bank and ICICI Ban card holders, with partial payment available via Supercoins, which brings its price tag down to around just 15,990 INR.

Oppo Reno 7 Pro

Earlier this year, the company had also launched the Reno 7 series. The Reno 7 Pro model was the higher end variant and features some notable specs and a gorgeous design (Check out our review here). The rear features a 50 megapixel triple camera setup, with the camera module being surrounded by the Orbit Light for notifications. Under the hood, it houses a Dimensity 1200 MAX SoC and the front sports a 6.55 inch AMOLED display that supports HDR10+ and 90Hz refresh rate.

With all of these specs, it was also a great offering for a budget flagship experience since it had a price tag of 47,999 INR. Although, this model is currently available for just 34,999 INR during the Flipkart Big Billion Days Sale. Additionally, there are also additional discounts available thanks to bank offers like 10 percent instant discount to Axis Bank and ICICI Bank card holders, with an additional 1,500 INR discount to ICICI credit card owners and an instant 3,000 discount on credit and debit card transactions. This basically brings its price down to around just 28,999 INR.

Flipkart is all set to begin its annual mega sale event called ‘Big Billion Days’ in India sometime later this month. Ahead of that, the Walmart-owned eCommerce giant has started to reveal deals on certain products. At the same time, the retailer is already selling select products at deal prices before the event.

Going through Flipkart, we came across good deals on two lifestyle smartphones that you may be interested in. These devices are Oppo Reno 8 and Motorola Edge 30.

The highlights of the Reno 8 include design, 50MP Sony IMX766 primary camera, and 80W fast wired charging support. On the other hand, the Edge 30 is currently the thinnest 5G smartphone, which also runs close to stock Android with support for Ready For.

Talking about price, the Oppo Reno 8 is priced at ₹29,999 for the single 8GB + 128GB memory configuration. Whereas, the Motorola Edge 30 costs ₹27,999 and ₹29,999 for 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB variants, respectively.

But it is worth noting that Flipkart is actually teasing the lowest offering price of ₹23,749. This suggests that the phone’s listing price could be discounted by ₹3,000 during the actual Big Billion Days sale event.

Therefore, we would urge you to wait if you are not in a hurry to purchase.

Motorola Edge 30 Flipkart Big Billion Days Deal

Flipkart has discounted the two memory variants of Motorola Edge 30 by ₹3,000. Hence, their listing price has come down to ₹24,999 (6GB + 128GB) and ₹26,999 (8GB + 128GB).

On top of this, customers can avail of an additional ₹2,250 discount using credit cards issued by either Axis Bank or ICICI Bank. The total discount amount comprises a ₹1,500 instant discount and an extra ₹750 off.

As a result, the effective price of Motorola Edge 30 lowers down to ₹22,749 and 24,749 for 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB memory versions, respectively.

Xiaomi India announced today that it has managed to sell over 2 million smartphones in just 5 days of the festive sales across Mi.com, Amazon’s Great Indian Shopping Festival, Flipkart’s Big Billion Days, and offline channels. All in all, the company recorded a 10x growth in the premium segment of above Rs. 20,000 when compared to last year. This has been made possible due to the ridiculously low rates offered as part of the ‘Diwali With Mi’ initiative.

The company only recently launched the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE and has been selling it for as low as ₹23,499 on Amazon, offers included. The Xiaomi Mi 11X has also seen major price cuts and currently sells at just ₹19,499 (again, offers included), which is down by over ₹10,000 from its regular rate of ₹29,999. A Snapdragon 870 chip paired with all of the other goodies that the device offers make it a must-buy.

The aforementioned is only a part of the more premium segment though and Xiaomi has also been shining in the budget segment. Offerings like the Redmi Note 10S, Redmi Note 10 Pro, and Redmi 9 series in the mid and budget segment also have a major role to play in helping Xiaomi reach the 2 million mark.

In addition, the company also has hourly deals coupled with exciting quizzes and bundle offers for consumers to get their hands on.

India’s largest online retailer Flipkart held its biggest sale recently called Big Billion Days. A number of new products like Pixel 4a and Galaxy F41 launched on the occasion of this sale. Above all, some of the popular as well as old devices like LG G8X ThinQ and iPhones were discounted heavily. That said, now as the sale has ended, POCO has officially announced that it sold over a million smartphones during this period.

Earlier this year, POCO was spun-off into an independent brand under the Xiaomi Group. In India, its devices are sold exclusively on Flipkart. The brand currently sells the following five handsets in the country.

• POCO X2
• POCO X3
• POCO M2 Pro
• POCO M2
• POCO C3

All the above-mentioned smartphones were discounted except for the latest POCO X3. Buyers were also able to avail additional bank discounts.

These phones are highly recommended by media houses even at their launch prices. With discounts, they flew off the shelves that  POCO managed to sell above a million (10 lakh) units of them during the Flipkart Big Billion Days sale that ran from October 16-21, as per the brand’s internal data.

Having said that, all the new POCO-branded smartphones launched so far (except POCO X3) are rebadged Redmi devices with slightly better configuration and cheaper price tags. We hope the brand to soon release phones with original design starting next year.
