<p style="text-align: justify"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-103482 size-full" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Meizu-Box-2.jpg?x44794" alt="Meizu TV Box" width="594" height="987" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Meizu-Box-2.jpg 594w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Meizu-Box-2-181x300.jpg 181w" sizes="(max-width: 594px) 100vw, 594px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: justify">Cord-cutting is starting to be the main form of media consumption in households, with a number of big names and even companies known to provide cable TV service joining the train. While we assume Meizu&#8217;s TV Box will just be a way to access cord-cutting services like the way fellow phone maker Xiaomi does with its Mi Box series, we do not want to rule out a possibility of them coming out with their own exclusive content and features to stand out of the plethora of TV boxes present out there.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">The Meizu TV Box has gotten its 3C certification and even lists Shenzen Skyworth Digital Technology Co. Ltd&#8217;s Bao&#8217;an foundry plant as the factory handling the manufacturing.<img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-103483 size-full" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Meizu-Box.jpg?x44794" alt="Meizu TV Box" width="600" height="221" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Meizu-Box.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Meizu-Box-300x111.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /> <img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-103484" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Flyme-for-TV.jpg?x44794" alt="flyme-for-tv" width="1499" height="1124" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Flyme-for-TV.jpg 1499w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Flyme-for-TV-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Flyme-for-TV-768x576.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Flyme-for-TV-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Flyme-for-TV-160x120.jpg 160w" sizes="(max-width: 1499px) 100vw, 1499px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: justify">A few days ago, Meizu held a Flyme Conference in Shenzhen where they announced that they have been working on Flyme for TVs and tablets. The version for TV has been reported to have support for multi-windows and will connect with other devices under the Meizu Homekit Ecosystem.</p>
<p style="text-align: center"><span style="color: #ff0000">RELATED:</span> <span style="color: #3366ff"><a style="color: #3366ff" href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/10/03/xiaomi-mi-box-launched-us-4k-video-streaming/">Xiaomi Launches Android TV Mi Box with 4K Streaming for $69</a></span><span id="more-103481"></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify">The insider source says  the Meizu TV Box will be priced at 299 Yuan ($44) which is a fair price if you compare it to Xiaomi&#8217;s latest Mi Box 3 which sells for 249 Yuan ($37) and an enhanced version that goes for 399 Yuan ($ 59). There is still no date of release yet but we believe it won&#8217;t be far off.</p>
