<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/meizu/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Meizu</a>, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, is on the lookout for a new Chinese name for its Flyme OS. The company announced on November 9 that it would seek public suggestions for a new name for its operating system. </p>

<p>After gathering potential names, Meizu has now launched a voting campaign to select the final choice.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="450" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Meizu-Flyme-OS-Chinese-name-voting-campaign.jpg?x44794" alt="Meizu Flyme OS Chinese name" class="wp-image-586046" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Meizu-Flyme-OS-Chinese-name-voting-campaign.jpg 450w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Meizu-Flyme-OS-Chinese-name-voting-campaign-225x300.jpg 225w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Meizu-Flyme-OS-Chinese-name-voting-campaign-315x420.jpg 315w" sizes="(max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px" /></figure></div>

<h2><strong>Meizu to give Flyme OS a new Chinese name</strong></h2>

<p>The campaign consists of a total of 32 names and four rounds of voting. The first round of voting is now open, where users will vote among 32 names. </p>

<p>The 16 names with the highest number of votes will be promoted to the next round. This process will continue until there are four finalists.</p>

<p>The final round of voting will be held at a press conference, where users will vote for their preferred name from the list of four finalists. The name with the most votes will be the new Chinese name for Flyme OS.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="536" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Meizu-Flyme-Chinese-OS-name-campaign-1024x536.jpg?x44794" alt="Meizu Flyme Chinese OS name campaign" class="wp-image-586045" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Meizu-Flyme-Chinese-OS-name-campaign-1024x536.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Meizu-Flyme-Chinese-OS-name-campaign-300x157.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Meizu-Flyme-Chinese-OS-name-campaign-768x402.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Meizu-Flyme-Chinese-OS-name-campaign-696x364.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Meizu-Flyme-Chinese-OS-name-campaign-1068x559.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Meizu-Flyme-Chinese-OS-name-campaign-803x420.jpg 803w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Meizu-Flyme-Chinese-OS-name-campaign.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>The first round of voting is now open in the <a href="https://www.meizu.cn/thread/22424103" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Meizu community</a>. Each user can only vote once per round. The first round of voting will close today at 23:59:59 (GMT +8).</p>

<p>As of the publication of this article, 5316 people have participated in the voting. While we were unable to look for the vote count of each name, major Chinese media have reported that more than half of the users voted for the name “无界” or &#8220;Unbounded&#8221; (translated).</p>

<p>This name is considered to be logical as Meizu launched the slogan &#8220;New Generation, Unbounded Ecosystem&#8221; for Flyme OS 10. The name is also fitting for Meizu&#8217;s goal of creating a &#8220;borderless&#8221; ecosystem.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Reports from domestic media say that Meizu has also applied to register the trademarks of “Unbounded Car” and “Unbounded Mobile Phone”.</p>

<p>The company will announce the final name for Flyme OS at a press conference in the coming weeks. We will keep you updated on it.</p>

Now, <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/meizu">Meizu</a> is also toeing the same path, and based on a teaser shared on its Weibo page, we may see the first vehicle powered by its Flyme For Car OS announced tomorrow.</p>
<p>The official Meizu account shared a teaser image that shows the silhouette of a car. The image has a caption that loosely translates into “The first partnership____, let&#8217;s talk tomorrow”.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-387095" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Meizu-Flyme-for-Car-partnership-teaser.jpg?x44794" alt="Meizu Flyme for Car partnership teaser" width="690" height="920" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Meizu-Flyme-for-Car-partnership-teaser.jpg 690w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Meizu-Flyme-for-Car-partnership-teaser-225x300.jpg 225w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Meizu-Flyme-for-Car-partnership-teaser-315x420.jpg 315w" sizes="(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px" /></p>
<p>Based on the image and the caption, it is safe to say that the announcement tomorrow is for the first vehicle powered by Meizu&#8217;s own software.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-387094" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Flyme-For-Car.jpg?x44794" alt="Flyme For Car" width="820" height="1093" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Flyme-For-Car.jpg 820w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Flyme-For-Car-225x300.jpg 225w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Flyme-For-Car-768x1024.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Flyme-For-Car-696x928.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Flyme-For-Car-315x420.jpg 315w" sizes="(max-width: 820px) 100vw, 820px" /></p>
<p>Little is known about <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/flyme">Flyme</a> For Car since Meizu first announced that the OS was in development last month. We expect tomorrow&#8217;s event will reveal all there is to know about the operating system, and hopefully, the unique experience it will offer.</p>

Now as Android 10 officially supports dark mode, the company has decided to adopt the native solution in its latest Flyme OS 8 along with an option to force dark mode on unsupported apps.</span></p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-315355 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Flyme-OS-Android-10-Forced-Dark-Mode-e1586269660271.jpg?x44794" alt="" width="584" height="335" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Flyme-OS-Android-10-Forced-Dark-Mode-e1586269660271.jpg 584w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Flyme-OS-Android-10-Forced-Dark-Mode-e1586269660271-300x172.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 584px) 100vw, 584px" /></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Meizu’s FlymeOS is one of the richest Android skin in terms of features and functionality. Also, it was one of the first to bring </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/dark-mode/"><span style="font-weight: 400;">dark mode</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> which is now ubiquitous. Now, according to a </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/Meizu"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Meizu </span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">FlymeOS executive, the Android skin will adopt the official </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Android-10/"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Android 10</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> dark mode to enable dark mode on supported as well as unsupported apps.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Normally, on Android 10, when the user turns on dark mode, the supported apps also reflect the change. But Meizu will go one step ahead and provide an option in FlymeOS 8 to force dark mode on unsupported apps as well. Anyway, this features is not new as it is present on </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/ColorOS-7/"><span style="font-weight: 400;">ColorOS 7</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> and </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Realme-UI"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Realme UI</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">. Even OxygenOS is about to</span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/03/23/oxygenos-may-soon-let-users-force-dark-mode-on-unsupported-apps/"><span style="font-weight: 400;"> get this feature</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> according to a finding in a recent open beta update for the OnePlus 7 series.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">For those who don’t know, dark mode on FlymeOS 8 is in its second iteration called Night Mode 2.0. Enabling it will reflect even on static and dynamic wallpapers along with UI and apps. Today, Meizu&#8217;s Flyme 6 OS has the honour of welcoming a new third-party model, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/lenovo-zuk-edge/">ZUK Edge</a>.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/zuk-edge-2.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-135902" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/zuk-edge-2.jpg?x44794" alt="ZUK Edge" width="600" height="407" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/zuk-edge-2.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/zuk-edge-2-300x204.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>
<p>Although <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2017/05/26/lenovo-confirms-never-phasing-brand/">Lenovo refuted claims that it is killing its own brand</a> for the Motorola brand, the company indeed disclosed that <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2017/04/26/lenovo-shuts-down-zuk-mobile-zuk-edge-is-last-mobile-phone/">it would be resting the ZUK brand</a>. What this means is that the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/lenovo-zuk-edge/">ZUK Edge</a> is the last model that would be released under the ZUK brand. Although the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/lenovo-zuk-edge/">ZUK Edge</a> comes pre-installed with the latest Android Nougat the chances of regular updates hitting the model is low, even though Lenovo promised it would continue providing updates. However, the Flyme ROM for <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/lenovo-zuk-edge/">ZUK Edge</a> gives users of the ZUK model sort of a lifeline, a second option of changing the interface from the company&#8217;s ZUI to Meizu&#8217;s latest Flyme 6.0.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/zuk-edge.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-135901" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/zuk-edge.jpg?x44794" alt="ZUK Edge" width="600" height="375" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/zuk-edge.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/zuk-edge-300x188.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: center"><strong><span style="color: #ff0000">Read More: </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2017/06/04/6gb-ram-zuk-edge-gets-huge-price-cut-%c2%a51799-264/">The 6GB RAM ZUK Edge Gets A Huge Price Cut, Down To ¥1799 (~$264)</a></strong></p>
<p>Flyme 6 stable ROM for Lenovo&#8217;s ZUK Edge is available on the Flyme website but it must be noted that it requires some bit of expertise on flashing a phone&#8217;s ROM to do this. Also, it is important to note that Flyme 6 downgrades the ZUK Edge to Android 6.0 Marshmallow which the Flyme 6 is based on whereas the ZUI is already on Android 7.0 Nougat. But then, you get a whole new interface, a cool one at that with a couple of custom Meizu features. You can get details on how to download from <a href="http://bbs.flyme.cn/thread-1835441-1-1.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">here</a>.</p>

Smartphone models like the Nexus 6P, ZUK Z2, Xiaomi Mi 3, Mi Note (high-end version). Redmi Note 3 (high-end version), Redmi Note 2, Nexus 6 and several other models are also among the first batch.</p>

<p>Already, firmware for eight different models is available for download on the Meizu Flyme <a href="http://www.flyme.cn/firmware.html#" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">website</a>. These eight models are the first batch of a long list of devices can be flashed to the Flyme 6 ROM. Here&#8217;s a list of the models and the download link. Installation is by flash recovery and there is a tutorial up on the blog. However, as you&#8217;d know by now, flash recovery is not something you do without prior knowledge or else you could permanently brick your device.</p>

<p>It is interesting to note that most of the models on the list are powered by a Qualcomm processor at a time Meizu uses MediaTek chip on its models. It is possible Meizu is trying to consolidate on its recent settlement with Qualcomm with this move. It could also be due to the superior firepower of the Qualcomm chip which would allow the Flyme OS lag on the models it is flash into.</p>

The Meizu M5s is also expected any moment from now but that isn&#8217;t the news. The latest news regarding the two Meizu smartphones is that they may soon be available in other countries outside of China.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/meizu-m5-18/"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-115914" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/meizu-m5.png?x44794" alt="meizu m5 note" width="691" height="125" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/meizu-m5.png 691w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/meizu-m5-300x54.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 691px) 100vw, 691px" /></a></p>
<p>The M5 and M5 Note were spotted recently on Postel in Indonesia which is the country&#8217;s telecoms regulator just like US FCC and China&#8217;s TENAA. The listing on the Indonesian regulatory agency&#8217;s website showed the device has been certified and that seems to have been done yesterday. However, there is no other information as to when the devices will be launched in Indonesia or any other country and the price the device will carry. Suffice it to say that the M5 Note starts at 899 yuan ($130), while the M5 starts at 699 yuan (around $100) in China and those prices may not hold water, considering the costs of shipping, tax, and other stuff will have to be included in the mix.</p>

During the interview, the company talked about its 2016 market performance, revealing that it did record a total figure of 22 million units in smartphone sales last year. This is said to be an encouraging figure as it represented a 10 % growth from its 2015 sales record, despite declining growth in the smartphone market.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/meizu-vp-2/"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-114818" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/meizu-vp.jpg?x44794" alt="meizu" width="485" height="446" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/meizu-vp.jpg 485w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/meizu-vp-300x276.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 485px) 100vw, 485px" /></a></p>
<p>The Meizu officials also talked about other pertinent issues like the Qualcomm patent agreement signed recently and its 2017 product plan. Unfortunately, the company has stated that despite the settlement with Qualcomm, we may still not see a Meizu flagship this year with a Qualcomm chip onboard, as the Meizu flagships for 2017 will likely still use MediaTek MTK chips. As earlier reported when the Meizu product plan leaked, the brand will likely have a Snapdragon-powered Meizu smartphone in the fourth quarter of the year, around December to be specific. It was also revealed that Meizu&#8217;s Flyme OS has got over 50 million users presently.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong><span style="color: #ff0000;">Read More:</span> <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/12/30/meizu-qualcomm-settle-issues-sign-patent-licensing-agreement/">Meizu &amp; Qualcomm Finally Settle Their Issues, Sign Patent Licensing Agreement</a></strong></p>
<p>Despite the no-show of a Snapdragon-powered Meizu flagship, the settlement is of immense importance because it will allow the company to enter more foreign markets without fear of patent infringement. 2 million of its 22 million units sold last year, was from markets outside China. That figure has the potential to rise further this year.  Also, the company hinted at a gradual increase in prices of its smartphones this year, occasioned by an increase in prices of raw materials. Meizu is known for its moderate price tags on its smartphones and it won&#8217;t ridiculous if there is a slight adjustments in its price tags on subsequent smartphones.</p>

The new OS called Flyme 6 will be coming out of closed beta tomorrow and in addition to the numerous new features already listed, a new feature called Time Machine will be making its way to the OS.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-113341" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Meizu-Flyme-6-2.jpg?x44794" alt="Flyme 6 Time Machine" width="657" height="369" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Meizu-Flyme-6-2.jpg 657w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Meizu-Flyme-6-2-300x168.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 657px) 100vw, 657px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: justify">According to Meizu, Time Machine will let users retrieve accidentally deleted contacts. The feature will let you access deleted contacts data as far back as two years (the data starts recording from the day you start using the feature). So two years from now, you should still be able to access contacts deleted between now and December, 2018. To make use of the feature, users will have to got to <strong>Settings &gt; Data Cloud Sync &gt; Time Machine.</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify">Meizu also says they have optimized the contacts synchronization speed by up to 65% and reduced traffic consumption by up to 66%. So a 300 contact phone-book should synchronize in about 9 seconds.</p>

The new OS was unveiled by the head of Flyme, Yang Yan, and it brings a lot of improvements and new features.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">Flyme 6 is a completely redesigned OS from the ground up according to Mr. Yan. The OS uses new main colors and maintains a uniform color distribution across its interface. Flyme 6 has more than 200 new animations including a new charging animation and over 1000 performance optimizations.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-108971" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/Flyme-6-OS-2.jpg?x44794" alt="flyme-6-os-2" width="600" height="326" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/Flyme-6-OS-2.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/Flyme-6-OS-2-300x163.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: justify">Meizu says Flyme OS 6 is powered by their own artificial intelligence engine called <strong>One Mind</strong> but there is no explanation on how it works.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-108983" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/Meizu-One-Mind.jpg?x44794" alt="Flyme 6 One Mind" width="570" height="436" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/Meizu-One-Mind.jpg 570w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/Meizu-One-Mind-300x229.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 570px) 100vw, 570px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: justify">The new OS is focused on security and privacy. First, you can now set up to three different fingerprints to unlock the phone into different modes depending on the finger used to unlock. The three modes available are normal mode, guest mode, and privacy mode. To get a clearer picture, imagine Xiaomi&#8217;s Second Space function that launched with MIUI 8 which allows you to have two different modes on the same phone but in this case, the phone unlocks into a particular mode based on the finger used to unlock the device.</p>
<p style="text-align: center"><span style="color: #ff0000">READ MORE:</span> <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/11/28/meizu-flagship-2017-will-use-helio-x30-chip-says-insider/">Meizu Flagship for 2017 will Use Helio X30 Chip Says Insider</a><span id="more-108942"></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify">Meizu says Flyme OS 6 also takes user data pretty seriously. Offering encryption across apps likes photos, contacts, and files. Payment security has also been upgraded and the OS now supports more payment platforms.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-108963 size-full" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/flyme-6-supported-devices.jpg?x44794" alt="Flyme 6 Supported Devices" width="1200" height="628" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/flyme-6-supported-devices.jpg 1200w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/flyme-6-supported-devices-300x157.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/flyme-6-supported-devices-768x402.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/flyme-6-supported-devices-1024x536.jpg 1024w" sizes="(max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: justify">Meizu Flyme 6 will be available as a closed beta today. However, come December 30 it will be available as a public beta. The Meizu Pro 6, MX6, MX5, Pro 5, M3E, M3 Note, M2 Note, M1 Note and some other phones have been listed as getting Flyme 6.</p>

While Xiaomi&#8217;s first tablet dropped, Meizu&#8217;s own is yet to see the light of day. But that may soon be in the past as <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/meizu">Meizu </a>has shown signs that a tablet would soon join its frequently growing gadgets line-up.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/meizu-tab-2/"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-108318" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/meizu-tab-2.jpg?x44794" alt="meizu tablet" width="598" height="407" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/meizu-tab-2.jpg 598w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/meizu-tab-2-300x204.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 598px) 100vw, 598px" /></a></p>
<p>Presently, Meizu has opened an official Weibo account for its tablet division. The Weibo account already follows a number of Meizu officials but is yet to get its first post. In addition, an image teasing the Meizu Flyme OS for tablets also appeared on the scene recently.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/meizu-17/"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-108327" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/meizu-1.jpg?x44794" alt="meizu" width="1024" height="643" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/meizu-1.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/meizu-1-300x188.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/meizu-1-768x482.jpg 768w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></a></p>
<p style="text-align: center"><strong><span style="color: #ff0000">Read More: </span><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2016/11/24/real-image-of-meizu-x-sports-dual-cameras-looks-like-a-honor-8/">Real Image of Meizu X: Sports Dual Cameras and Looks Like A Honor 8</a></strong></p>
<p>Despite all these moves, it is still not certain that the Meizu tablet would drop sometime very soon. Perhaps we could see a launch of the first Meizu tablet next year. But then, we cannot be completely sure about that, the device may still be unveiled this year. After all we are literally at the peak of the year when sales are spiking.</p>

Now, not willing to let the Mi 3 enjoy all the fame and glory, someone also installed the Yun OS into their Meizu MX3. Does it work?</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>As the screenshots posted by this netizen show, the Yun OS’s lock screen, desktop, and notification bar are pretty clean and simple. Common features such as the Cloud Album and Safety Center are there. According to this netizen, his MX3 experienced high fluidity and better performance after installing the Yun OS 2.9.2.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>In addition, the Yun OS is said to save more power than the Flyme OS but its unclear how long it can last. Many think that the snapshots are a sign that Meizu and Alibaba will work together. Meizu’s ex-CEO, Li Nan, did confirm that Meizu and Alibaba were in talks regarding a possible partnership. Could the Yun OS working with the MX3 be a result of this partnership?</p>

<p>FlyMe OS is the one of Android custom ROM that developed by Meizu and now that custom ROM has been update which uses Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, since the KitKat is the newer Android version for now.<br />
<span id="more-25920"></span><br />
The Meizu MX3 and MX2 user is now ready to get FlyMe OS that uses Android 4.4 based OS, unfortunately, the new FlyMe OS version is only available for those Meizu series for a while now. The main reason is the Meizu MX3 is the one of popular smartphone from Chinese manufacturer.</p>
<p>The new FlyMe OS that uses Android 4.4 based OS is running more smoother than older version, so the user can install the stable version with a lots of new features.</p>
<p>Back on few months ago, Meizu founder, J. Woong has been said that FlyMe OS is also ready to available in other device, while for now there is no information about the release date but seems Meizu is following the Xiaomi that also launch the MIUI interface for other device rather than Xiaomi devices.</p>

<p>Meizu is one of the Chinese smartphone, the Meizu smartphone is running Android OS and there is FlymeOS running as user interface. And acording to Indise Meizu employee, the FlymeOS will ready to available in non-Meizu smartphone.<br />
<span id="more-20660"></span><br />
For the first step, FlymeOS is ready to running on Samsung Galaxy S4 and Xiaomi Mi3 smartphone. While for now, Xiaomi is also has own user interface, MIUI user interface.</p>
<p>And if this happend this will make the two possibilities, the first, Meizu will be more popular, this happened with MIUI that also available as Custom ROM and the second is the user seems moving to other UI, if they didn&#8217;t like the interface, but this is my personal opinion.</p>
<p>So what do you think?</p>
