Th models invariably come with slightly reduced bezels but we cannot say they are bezel-less even though the definition of a bezel-less phone is still in contention. China-based market research firm All View Cloud (AVC) has released its projection for 2018 of smartphone screen sizes.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/full-screen-redmi.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-177075" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/full-screen-redmi.jpg?x10805" alt="Xiaomi " width="600" height="399" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/full-screen-redmi.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/full-screen-redmi-300x200.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>
<p>The firm projects that the adoption of all-screen displays for smartphones will extend from flagship models to mid-tier and even entry-level models in 2018. Also, the ratio of all-screen models will rise to over 40% of global handset panels shipments in the year. The company also predicts that almost all flagship models launched by major smartphone vendors in 2018 will feature all-screen displays in 6-inch and above sizes. AVC also predicts that the average smartphone display size will reach 5.6-inch in 2018.</p>

<p>Samsung Display manufacturing arm was the largest beneficiary of the growing full-screen trend in 2017 with its shipments reaching 136 million units, or 64.6% of global shipments. Tianma Micro-electronics ranked second with 23 million units in shipments, and AU Optronics (AUO) was third with 13 million units, AVC data showed. Based on technology, shipments of all-screen AMOLED handset panels totalled 139 million units in 2017, reaching a penetration rate of 35.3%. Shipments of all-screen LTPS handset panels reached 46.1 million units or 6.7%, while those of all-screen a-Si models totalled 24.8 million units or 2.8%. The 5.X and 6.x size range were the most utilized full-screen sizes, accounting for 69.2% and 20.8% respectively. Specifically, 5.7-, 5.8-, 5.99-, 6.01- and 6.2-inch displays were mostly utilized.</p>

But the popularity of the design was fuelled largely by the launch and subsequent success of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus earlier this year. Since then, we are gradually losing count of the number of full-screen phones that have been launched only in the second half of this year. The models range from flagships to mid-rangers to budget smartphones, most coming from China. That isn&#8217;t going to stop anytime soon.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/oneplus-5t-1.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-154974" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/oneplus-5t-1.jpg?x10805" alt="" width="892" height="500" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/oneplus-5t-1.jpg 892w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/oneplus-5t-1-300x168.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/oneplus-5t-1-768x430.jpg 768w" sizes="(max-width: 892px) 100vw, 892px" /></a></p>
<p>As a matter of fact, we speculate that there will be more releases next year and this speculation has been given credence by an analyst who shared a Weibo post recently showing that more phones with 18:9 screen aspect ratio is in the work or on the drawing board. The blogger @Mocha RQ also disclosed that not only would we be seeing more of full-screen models, their display sizes would range from 5.8 inches to 6 inches. Already, the Vivo X20, Mate 10 Pro and OPPO R11s feature a 6-inch screen. Others like the OnePlus 5T and the Vivo Xplay 7 expected later this year would utilise a 6-inch display. The tech blogger also hinted that Huawei would next year ramp up the screen size of the flagship P-series, with the P11 expected to feature a 5.8-inch display, up from 5.1 inches. The Huawei P11 Plus, Mate 11, and Mate 11 Pro are all tipped to have screen sizes of 6 inches and above.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/full-screen.png?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-154968" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/full-screen.png?x10805" alt="full screen" width="601" height="201" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/full-screen.png 601w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/full-screen-300x100.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 601px) 100vw, 601px" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p style="text-align: center"><strong><span style="color: #ff0000">Read Also:</span> <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2017/10/24/alleged-oneplus-5t-full-screen-design-appears-new-image/">Alleged OnePlus 5T with Full Screen Design Appears in New Image</a></strong></p>
<p>From the look of things, attention would gradually shift to full-screen designs but that doesn&#8217;t signify the death of other screen form factors Sure, we&#8217;ll still have 5-inch models but likely not on flagship models. In keeping up with the trend, flagship models may likely have displays ranging from 5.5 inches and higher. Unfortunately, there is no prospect that we&#8217;ll see a true bezel-less phone anytime soon. All the designs seem to have one thing in common and that is a high screen to body ratio with bezels but reduced bezels.</p>

This further expands the number of models with full-screen models and considering OPPO&#8217;s and Vivo&#8217;s global ranking, this means the world&#8217;s top 5 phone manufacturers for last year have all got a full-screen model to their name.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/oppo-full-screen.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-150543" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/oppo-full-screen.jpg?x10805" alt="oppo mix" width="600" height="800" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/oppo-full-screen.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/oppo-full-screen-225x300.jpg 225w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>
<div class="article-summary">
<p>The device is likely to go by the name OPPO Mix as a previous GeekBench appearance has revealed. The Geekbench listing which was first uploaded on July 14 this year shows that the device will come with flagship specs, including a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. The device is also listed to run Android 7.1.1 Nougat and pack 6GB of RAM.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/oppo-mix.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-150544" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/oppo-mix.jpg?x10805" alt="oppo mix" width="600" height="473" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/oppo-mix.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/oppo-mix-300x237.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>

Well, full-screen phones yes but not so true about bezel-less, because there is usually one form of bezels or the other but the bezels are usually so thin. The list of OEMs with bezel-less phones continues to grow, Nubia may soon join with a full-screen phone which has been spotted in a render recently.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-149810 gr-progress" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/nubia-full-screen.jpg?x10805" alt="nubia" width="600" height="448" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/nubia-full-screen.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/nubia-full-screen-300x224.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/nubia-full-screen-160x120.jpg 160w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></p>
<p>The leaked renders are said to be for a Nubia &#8220;full-screen 2.1&#8221; smartphone which goes by the code name NX595J. Tagging it &#8220;Full-screen 2.1&#8221; is perhaps to suggest that the device will come with a higher screen-to-body ratio than the Mi Mix 2 which was labeled as utilizing full-screen 2.0. The screen has just tiny bezels at the top and bottom edges while the sides are near bezel-less. There are dual cameras at the rear with an LED flash sitting in between the vertically aligned cameras. There is also a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and interestingly, the device seems to have an 18.5: 9 aspect ratio just like the Galaxy S8. The back of the mobile device also adopts a curved design on all sides.</p>
<p style="text-align: center"><strong><span style="color: #ff0000">Read More: </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2017/09/15/nubia-z17-mini-limited-edition-6gb-ram-aurora-blue-color-launched/">Nubia Z17 Mini Limited Edition With 6GB Of RAM, Aurora Blue Color Launched</a></strong></p>
<p>This will not be Nubia&#8217;s first bezel-less phone, as the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/zte-nubia-z17/">Nubia Z17</a> flagship <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2017/06/01/nubia-z17-launched-8gb-ram-bezel-less-design-snapdragon-835/">released earlier this year</a> packing an SD 835 chip features a design lacking bezels on the two side edges. But the NX595J takes it a lot further, featuring a full-screen design with even lesser bezels than on the Z17. No word yet on the likely specs or if Nubia will drop this model this year.</p>

<p>The UMIDIGI S2 and S2 Pro will be available in three colors &#8211; red, black and a special edition mercury silver. In the video we get to see only the red and black variants. Due to the 18:9 display, both phones are slightly longer than usual.</p>
<p>UMIDIGI has settled for a vertical arrangement for the dual Sony IMX258 13MP rear cameras. And with the fingerprint scanner positioned beneath the camera setup, users will be able to easily reach it.</p>
<p>The phone has a metallic back and a 2.5D glass covers the 5.99-inch display in front. It features the U-design for the antenna lines which are black on both color variants but easily visible on the red variant.</p>

<p>UMIDIGI says the combination of the wide angle camera lens and the display makes capturing images a unique experience. One of the cameras captures depth of field information resulting in images with the bokeh effect. The large apertures of the lens also mean that images are brighter even in low-light areas.</p>

Since <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/xiaomi">Xiaomi</a> released the bezel-less Mi Mix last year, we have lost count of the number of bezel-less phones that have been launched this year alone. From the flagship Galaxy S8 to the budget Doogee Mix, the list continues to grow. Right now, <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/vivo">Vivo</a> looks set to join the fray with its own full-screen phone which is dubbed Vivo X20.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/vivo-x20.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-147202" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/vivo-x20.jpg?x10805" alt="Vivo X20" width="600" height="324" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/vivo-x20.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/vivo-x20-300x162.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>
<p>Vivo has not been very active this year in its frequency of smartphone releases this year but the sure look set to launch a mid-range flagship-looking model in the X20. The company recently shared two renders of the X20 and from the photos, it can be seen that the device will come in white and black colours. The shape looks very much like the Galaxy S8 with an ultra thin bezel on the upper and lower edges, giving the device a high screen-to-body ratio. The sides look like what will be without bezels.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/vivo-x20-2.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-147203" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/vivo-x20-2.jpg?x10805" alt="Vivo X20" width="600" height="319" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/vivo-x20-2.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/vivo-x20-2-300x160.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>The device is being projected as Vivo&#8217;s first full-screen phone and is expected to utilize an 18:9 aspect ratio, judging from the size of the renders. No further detail is revealed about the X20 but the device is expected to be powered by Qualcomm&#8217;s latest mid-range Snapdragon 660 SoC. The processor will be backed by 6GB of RAM.The device is also expected to feature a powerful camera configured with Vivo&#8217;s latest DSP image processing technology and maybe dual cameras at the front and rear.</p>
<p>As to when the Vivo X20 will be released, we can&#8217;t say but we expect more teasers to be released in the coming days.</p>

Starting August 28, the KIICAA Mix full-screen smartphone<a href="https://www.gearbest.com/promotion-leagoo-kiicaa-mix-special-1526.html?lkid=11213750"> will be up for grabs at just $69.99</a> i.e. a good 50% off the retail price tag.</p>

<p>Every day at 9 AM UTC time, 10 units of the Leagoo KIICAA Mix will be offered for just $69.99. But make sure to use the coupon: <span style="color: #ff0000;"><strong>GBLGMI</strong></span> to get this 50% discount. It&#8217;s going to be hard to get hold of the phablet at this price tag, but it&#8217;s definitely worth a try.</p>
<p>If you are unable to snap up one of the 10 units, you can always purchase the smartphone at its flash sale price tag of $109.99. Given the specs inside, this price is pretty aggressive, making it one of the best-looking smartphones in its price segment.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/LEagoo-KIICAA-Mix-001.jpg?x10805"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-147067" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/LEagoo-KIICAA-Mix-001.jpg?x10805" alt="LEagoo KIICAA Mix 001" /></a></p>
<p>There is no doubt that screen is going to be its biggest asset, coming with a 5.5-inch Full HD 1080p Sharp panel and a tri-bezel design. The high screen to body ratio ensures that the phone is compact, despite being a 5.5-incher. Inside, you get MT6750T with 3GB of RAM and 13MP+2MP dual cameras. The setup isn&#8217;t the best we&#8217;ve seen, but it should be enough for basic shots once in a while. Up front, you get a 13MP OV camera, good for selfies. Finally, there&#8217;s a fingerprint sensor as well. Other features include a 3000mAh battery and Android 7.</p>
<p>Overall, at $109.99, the Leagoo KIICAA Mix is a value for money smartphone. You can check out the flash sale as well as more <a href="https://www.gearbest.com/promotion-leagoo-kiicaa-mix-special-1526.html?lkid=11213750">details about the phone from the link here</a>.</p>

They already have a contender in the bezel-less category, the UMIDIGI Crystal, and an insider has revealed to us that they are working on an 18:9 full-screen device called the UMIDIGI S2.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-144229" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/UMIDIGI-S2-2.jpg?x10805" alt="UMIDIGI S2" width="2048" height="1152" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/UMIDIGI-S2-2.jpg 2048w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/UMIDIGI-S2-2-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/UMIDIGI-S2-2-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/UMIDIGI-S2-2-1024x576.jpg 1024w" sizes="(max-width: 2048px) 100vw, 2048px" /></p>
<p>In a situation where everyone seems to be doing the same thing, you have to  find a way to stand out of the crowd. For the UMIDIGI S2, its advantage over the others will be its massive 6000mAh battery, making it the first 18:9 full-screen smartphone to have such a large capacity battery.</p>
<p>Since the best way to enjoy phones with such displays is via media consumption, a big battery is a sure bet to uninterrupted entertainment. We learnt that even with the big battery, the UMIDIGI S2 will have a thickness of about 7.8mm. That makes it thinner than the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-s8/">Samsung Galaxy S8</a> which is 8mm thin and packs a 3000mAh battery.</p>
<p>UMIDIGI isn&#8217;t new to making smartphones with large batteries while still maintaining a thin body. Its <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2017/06/12/exclusive-thinnest-big-battery-flagship-umidigi-z1-design-revealed/">Z1 Pro</a> flagship has a 4000mAh battery and is just 6.95mm thick.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-144230" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/UMIDIGI-S2-1.jpg?x10805" alt="UMIDIGI S2" width="2048" height="1152" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/UMIDIGI-S2-1.jpg 2048w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/UMIDIGI-S2-1-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/UMIDIGI-S2-1-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/UMIDIGI-S2-1-1024x576.jpg 1024w" sizes="(max-width: 2048px) 100vw, 2048px" /></p>
<p>Other details of the UMIDIGI S2 provided include a 5.99-inch display-size, NFC, wireless charging support, and dual Sony cameras on the back. Images provided show a red unit with the rear cameras, LED flash and fingerprint scanner stacked on top of one another.</p>
<p>Release date is set for October but expect more details to be revealed before then.</p>

<p>TENAA reveals that the Aquos S2 will come with a 2.2GHz octa-core processor, which should be the Snapdragon 660 chipset along with 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB storage options. At the back, the phone will feature a 12MP primary sensor along with an 8MP secondary sensor in a vertical arrangement. This should enable special features such as bokeh photos on the device. There will be a 2930mAh battery on board. The screen size is still the standard 5.5-inches, but owing to the larger screen to body ratio, the resolution is a bit weird &#8212; 2040 × 1080p instead of the traditional 1920 x 1080p. The phone is thin at 7.9mm and will be light weight at just 140 grams.</p>

<p>The back of the Sharp Aquos S2 has a peculiar finish and we can expect different color options to highlight this back texture at launch. However, in the TENAA listing, there&#8217;s just one color listed &#8212; white.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/98a2c840-7bed-11e7-b0a0-053f09b2f73f.jpg-hm.jpeg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-144083" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/98a2c840-7bed-11e7-b0a0-053f09b2f73f.jpg-hm.jpeg?x10805" alt="sharp aquos s2 side view" width="600" height="400" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/98a2c840-7bed-11e7-b0a0-053f09b2f73f.jpg-hm.jpeg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/98a2c840-7bed-11e7-b0a0-053f09b2f73f.jpg-hm-300x200.jpeg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>
<p>Given that TENAA revealed most of the details about the phone, we just have to wait for a few more hours to get its price.</p>

The forum had in attendance individuals from all walk of life.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/samsung-galaxy-s8.png?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-136691" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/samsung-galaxy-s8.png?x10805" alt="full-screen phone" width="590" height="455" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/samsung-galaxy-s8.png 590w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/samsung-galaxy-s8-300x231.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 590px) 100vw, 590px" /></a></p>
<p>The Full-screen forum is a clear demonstration of the growing admiration for bezel-less displays in China. The Xiaomi Mi Mix was the first to break the barrier and launch a full-screen phone with up to 93% screen-to-body ratio. Thereafter South Korean giant Samsung caught the bug and released the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus with a bezel-less Infinity display having 84% screen-to-body ratio. Samsung seems to have leveraged on the wide receivership the Mi Mix but the Galaxy S8 is looking way more superior and successful than the Mi Mix.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/full-screen-phone.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-136702" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/full-screen-phone.jpg?x10805" alt="full-screen forum" width="690" height="518" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/full-screen-phone.jpg 690w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/full-screen-phone-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/full-screen-phone-160x120.jpg 160w" sizes="(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px" /></a></p>
<p>The Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus are already demolishing previous sales records set by the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. That is perhaps why Lee Hyun Hong ShaneLee, Director of Samsung China Design Institute thinks Samsung shocked the entire Chinese smartphone manufacturers with the release of its latest flagship. In actual sense, the frenzy was already catching on before Samsung launched the Galaxy flagships. Xiaomi, not Samsung kickstarted the whole thing with the LG G6 coming out with a similar design even before Samsung&#8217;s flagships. But then, Samsung&#8217;s position as a global market leader is the best form of promotion the new smartphone design could get. The success of the Mi Mix and the monumental feats achieved by the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus so far will only make more manufacturers want to key into the design style.</p>
<p style="text-align: center"><strong><span style="color: #ff0000">Read More:</span> <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2017/06/16/samsung-galaxy-note-8-emperor-edition-may-feature-8-gb-ram-galaxy-note-9-may-12-gb-ram/">Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Emperor Edition May Feature 8 GB RAM; Galaxy Note 9 May Have 12 GB RAM</a></strong></p>
<p>Already, several Chinese manufacturers have different models in the works like the Doogee Mix, Maze Alpha, Bluboo S1,<strong> </strong>IDWell D10, Leagoo T-Mix, all with various degrees of full displays. There are indicators such as the huge turn out experienced during the Full-screen forum which points to the likelihood of next year being flooded with full-screen models. Before then, expect more models this year, like the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2. Huawei and Vivo are also expected to launch full-screen models this year.</p>

The concept render doesn&#8217;t in any way mean Meizu was working on a bezel-less phone but then, that&#8217;s how it starts.Besides, Xiaomi did the unthinkable with the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-mi-mix/">Mi Mix</a>, so anything was possible.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Meizu-Bezel-less-phone.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-110502" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Meizu-Bezel-less-phone.jpg?x10805" alt="Meizu Bezel-Less Phone" width="610" height="407" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Meizu-Bezel-less-phone.jpg 610w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Meizu-Bezel-less-phone-300x200.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 610px) 100vw, 610px" /></a></p>
<p>Not too long ago, Meizu chairman, Jack Wong, also known as <span lang="zh-Latn-pinyin" xml:lang="zh-Latn-pinyin">Huáng Zhāng hinted that company would be celebrating its 15 years anniversary next year and as a result, they would be releasing a smartphone with cutting-edge design. Jack Wong, </span><span lang="zh-Latn-pinyin" xml:lang="zh-Latn-pinyin">who returned to the company in 2014, stated that he was going to build his dream machine for the 15th anniversary of Meizu.</span></p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/meizu-mi-mix-1.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-106154" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/meizu-mi-mix-1.jpg?x10805" alt="meizu concept bezelless" width="1484" height="960" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/meizu-mi-mix-1.jpg 1484w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/meizu-mi-mix-1-300x194.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/meizu-mi-mix-1-768x497.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/meizu-mi-mix-1-1024x662.jpg 1024w" sizes="(max-width: 1484px) 100vw, 1484px" /></a></p>

<p>This has made some to speculate that a full-screen, bezel-less design would feature on the said phone which may also pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip and other top-end specs. However, Meizu VP Li Nan has stated that the company will not launch a full-screen phone this year. Li Nan agrees full-screen phones are the trendy guys this year but he still has some query about their overall design and fingerprint sensor location. That doesn&#8217;t in any way rule out the possibility of a full-screen phone from Meizu next year. That is, Jack Wang&#8217;s &#8220;Dream machine&#8221;. The fact that Li Nan is evaluating the design style may be an indication that the company is working on a full-screen phone.</p>
