4. Samsung Galaxy A25

The Galaxy A25 5G is pretty impressive, considering its ultra-affordable price tag. While the plastic frame and back panel will not impress you, it excels in many aspects, making it a viable option under $200.

The large 6.5-inch AMOLED screen refreshes at 120Hz. Overall, it’s a nice display, but the visibility could be better outdoors. It’s an excellent display, otherwise.

The Galaxy A25 is driven by the Exynos 1280 chip. Honestly, it’s not a high-performance chip, but good enough to smoothly handle social media, basic apps, and internet browsing. However, there may be occasional lags.

The camera performs well in good lighting conditions, but low-light performance isn’t impressive. But for the price, it’s a good camera setup. Another plus point of Galaxy A25 is the battery backup. With 5,000mAh capacity and 25W fast charging, it matches some flagship models like the Galaxy S24, easily lasting for a full day.

If you are looking for a more cheaper option, Galaxy A15 5G is there, featuring the same 6.5-inch AMOLED screen. It also has 50MP triple rear cameras (lacks OIS) and an impressive battery backup. The chipset is Dimensity 6100+, which handles basic tasks without any lag.

Samsung is almost done with its 2023 smartphone lineup. There won’t be many new handset launches from the company in the next few months.

The firm is working on multiple new devices for the next year. One of them is Galaxy A25.

The design of this product leaked in late June via 3D CAD renders. Nearly two months later, the camera specs of this phone have emerged.

The new details regarding the upcoming Galaxy A25 come from GalaxyClub. The publication has revealed the rear and front cameras of the device.

As per the source, the Galaxy A25 will sport a 50MP main camera on the back. Whereas, on the front, it will be equipped with a 13MP shooter.

This means the handset will have the same primary and selfie cameras as the Galaxy A24. Unfortunately, there’s no info on the secondary sensors.

Currently, there’s only a single version of Galaxy A25 in development with model number SM-A256E. Therefore, the source suggests that this device could be a 5G version of the Galaxy A24 despite carrying a different name.

Perhaps, more versions are in the pipeline but we have no details on them so far. Anyways, like any other Samsung smartphone, this one should also pop on multiple certification agencies and retailers revealing almost everything about it before its official announcement.

In April, Samsung announced the Galaxy A24 4G in multiple markets. If a fresh report by GizNext is to be believed, the brand is now working on the Galaxy A25 5G. The publication has collaborated with prominent tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer (aka OnLeaks) to reveal the design of the A25 through its CAD renders. Here is a look at the design of the phone.

Samsung launched the Galaxy A23 in 4G and 5G variants. The A24 is currently only available in a 4G version. It is still unclear whether the company has plans to launch its 5G edition. The report suggests that the device that was expected to launch as the A24 may end up launching as the Galaxy A25 5G.

Samsung Galaxy A25 5G renders

The new report reveals that the Galaxy A25 will have a 6.44-inch display with a waterdrop notch. The back panel of the phone has a triple camera unit with an LED flash. For security, the device is fitted with a side-facing fingerprint sensor on the right. The same edge also features a volume rocker.

The Galaxy A25 has a single speaker and a 3.5mm audio jack. As per the report, the device measures 162 x 77.5 x 8.3mm, which is almost identical to the dimensions of the Galaxy A24 4G. At present, there is no information on the other specifications of the A25.

In related news, OnLeaks also released the CAD renders of the Galaxy S23 FE, an upcoming affordable flagship phone. Regrettably, like the Galaxy A25, the S23 FE has an uninspiring design, bearing a striking resemblance to the Galaxy A54. In terms of internals, the S23 FE is expected to come with specs like a 6.4-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, an Exynos 2200 chip, up to 8 GB of RAM, up to 256 GB of storage, a 4,500mAh battery, 25W charging, and a 50-megapixel main camera. The S23 FE is expected to debut in Q3 this year.
