<p>The Samsung Galaxy A27 has been making plenty of noise lately. We already covered the phone&#8217;s<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/04/17/samsung-galaxy-a27-leaks-design-snapdragon-upgrades/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> design, Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chip, and early spec details</a>, and just days ago<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/06/07/galaxy-a27-spotted-in-new-awesome-mint-color/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> spotted it in a new Awesome Mint color</a>. Now, the one thing that was still missing has finally surfaced — the price.</p>

<h2><strong>Samsung Galaxy A27 price hikes by up to </strong><strong>€70</strong></h2>

<p>According to a fresh leak, the Galaxy A27 is expected to launch in Europe at <strong>€349</strong> for the base 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. If you want the higher-end 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model, that&#8217;ll set you back <strong>€439</strong>.</p>

<p>To put that into perspective, the Galaxy A26 launched at €299 and €369 for the same configurations. That means buyers are looking at a <strong>€50 increase</strong> on the entry model and a <strong>€70 jump</strong> on the top variant.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Whether that bump feels justified will depend on what Samsung is actually delivering.&nbsp;</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="840" height="472" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/samsung-galaxy-a27-light-pink-840w-472h.jpg.webp?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-741194" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/samsung-galaxy-a27-light-pink-840w-472h.jpg.webp 840w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/samsung-galaxy-a27-light-pink-840w-472h.jpg-300x169.webp 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/samsung-galaxy-a27-light-pink-840w-472h.jpg-768x432.webp 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/samsung-galaxy-a27-light-pink-840w-472h.jpg-696x391.webp 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/samsung-galaxy-a27-light-pink-840w-472h.jpg-747x420.webp 747w" sizes="(max-width: 840px) 100vw, 840px" /><figcaption>Samsung Galaxy A27</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>As per rumors, the Samsung Galaxy A27 features a 6.7-inch FHD+ display, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 replacing the Exynos 1380 on its predecessor, a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 12MP front shooter, and a 5,000mAh battery with 25W wired charging.</p>

<p>None of these specs scream upgrade if we take the price hike in consideration. In fact, the ultrawide camera is said to drop to just 5MP from 8MP, and microSD card support appears to be gone entirely as well.&nbsp;</p>

<p>So why is Samsung increasing the price? Due to hike in memory prices, folks. Existing phones from several brands have already gone up in price, as a result, its no surprise that the new models will be expensive too.&nbsp;</p>

<p>A launch is expected sometime between June and August 2026. As with most Samsung releases, promotional pricing or carrier deals could soften the blow once the phone hits shelves.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/samsung/">Samsung</a>&#8216;s Galaxy A27 has popped up in another leak, and while it&#8217;s not revealing anything major, it does add a new color to the mix. Up until now, the phone had been shown in Black, Blue, and Light Pink. A fresh set of images shared by tipster Mohammed Khatr suggests Samsung is also working on an Awesome Mint version. It&#8217;s a pale green shade.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="1024" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/HJ83ux3bYAA3K1u-1024x1024.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-741192" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/HJ83ux3bYAA3K1u-1024x1024.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/HJ83ux3bYAA3K1u-300x300.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/HJ83ux3bYAA3K1u-150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/HJ83ux3bYAA3K1u-768x768.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/HJ83ux3bYAA3K1u-1536x1536.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/HJ83ux3bYAA3K1u.jpg 2048w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/HJ83ux3bYAA3K1u-696x696.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/HJ83ux3bYAA3K1u-1068x1068.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/HJ83ux3bYAA3K1u-1920x1920.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/HJ83ux3bYAA3K1u-420x420.jpg 420w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>The leak doesn&#8217;t really change what we think we know about the phone itself. The Galaxy A27 still appears to follow Samsung&#8217;s recent design approach, with flat sides, a punch-hole display, and a triple-camera setup on the back. If you&#8217;ve seen a recent Galaxy A-series phone, this will probably look pretty familiar.</p>

<p>As for the specs, they seem pretty much in line with what you&#8217;d expect from Samsung in this price range. The device is rumored to feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ display, possibly with a 120Hz refresh rate, along with a 50MP main camera that includes optical image stabilization. There&#8217;s also talk of a 5,000mAh battery and 25W charging support.</p>

</figure>

<p>Inside, the Galaxy A27 is expected to use Qualcomm&#8217;s <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/08/31/snapdragon-6-gen-3-unveiled-same-as-snapdragon-7s-gen-2/">Snapdragon 6 Gen 3</a> processor. Paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, it should have no trouble handling everyday stuff. Nobody is buying a Galaxy phone like this for performance anyway. What matters more is that it feels smooth day to day, and on paper at least, it looks capable enough.</p>

<p>The A27 is expected to launch with Android 16 and One UI 8.5, and Samsung will continue offering several years of updates, which is becoming a bigger selling point for entry-level and mid-range Galaxy devices.</p>

<p>The Galaxy A27 doesn&#8217;t seem like it&#8217;s trying to reinvent anything. It&#8217;s shaping up to be another solid A-series phone with decent cameras and a few eye-catching color options.</p>

<p>AN unreleased mid-range phone from <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/samsung/">Samsung</a> has appeared on Geekbench, giving an early look at its chipset and CPU performance.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="543" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/Screenshot-2026-04-02-074450-1024x543.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-732950" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/Screenshot-2026-04-02-074450-1024x543.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/Screenshot-2026-04-02-074450-300x159.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/Screenshot-2026-04-02-074450-768x407.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/Screenshot-2026-04-02-074450-696x369.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/Screenshot-2026-04-02-074450-1068x566.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/Screenshot-2026-04-02-074450-792x420.png 792w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/Screenshot-2026-04-02-074450.png 1532w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>The listing, tied to model number SM-A276B, is widely believed to be the Galaxy A27 5G. The core cluster points to a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/08/31/snapdragon-6-gen-3-unveiled-same-as-snapdragon-7s-gen-2/">Snapdragon 6 Gen 3</a> chipset, which is a bit of an interesting choice. It’s not exactly new, and it already showed up in devices like the Galaxy A36 last year.</p>

<p>The unit tested here comes with 6GB RAM and is running Android 16, likely with <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/03/19/samsung-one-ui-8-5-update-heres-everything-you-need-to-know/">One UI 8.5</a> on top, though that part isn’t confirmed yet.</p>

<p>As for performance, the numbers are… modest. The phone scores 777 in single-core and 1,802 in multi-core on Geekbench. That’s actually lower than what the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-a26/">Galaxy A26</a> managed with its Exynos 1380. Still, this is an early test unit, so there’s always a chance things improve before launch. NanoReview data suggests the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 matches the Exynos 1380 in single-core and slightly outperforms it in multi-core tests.</p>

<p>Battery-wise, leaks suggest Samsung is sticking with a 5,000mAh cell, which isn’t surprising. Samsung already rolled out the Galaxy A37 and A57 recently, so the A27 will likely sit below those as a more accessible option. For reference, the Galaxy A37 runs on the Exynos 1480, while the Galaxy A57 uses the newer Exynos 1680.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="574" height="755" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/galaxy-a27-geekbench.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-732948" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/galaxy-a27-geekbench.png 574w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/galaxy-a27-geekbench-228x300.png 228w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/galaxy-a27-geekbench-319x420.png 319w" sizes="(max-width: 574px) 100vw, 574px" /><figcaption>Galaxy A27 Geekbench listing</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>At this point, details around the display, cameras, and pricing of the Galaxy A27 are still unclear. If pricing is aggressive enough, it could still make sense for buyers who just want a simple, reliable 5G phone. But looking at the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/03/25/galaxy-a57-and-galaxy-a37-launched-chip-upgrades-paired-with-refined-design/">price jump</a> between the Galaxy A57, A37 and their predecessors, it doesn’t look like Samsung will stick to the ₹24,999 pricing of the Galaxy A26 this year.</p>
