Samsung India has introduced a cashback offer for customers purchasing the Galaxy A34 5G smartphone. The device was initially released in March of last year. This promotion provides a direct discount of INR 3,000 from the Galaxy A34 5G’s standard retail price.

Following the cashback incentive, the 8GB + 128GB model of the Samsung Galaxy A34 5G is now available for INR 24,499. The variant with increased storage capacity (8GB + 256GB) can be purchased for INR 26,499. For convenience, Samsung India offers an EMI option with monthly installments starting at INR 1684.

You can buy the device either from Samsung’s official website or through their e-commerce partners all over India.

Samsung Galaxy A34 5G specifications

The Samsung Galaxy A34 5G comes with a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display featuring Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front while the phone’s back and frame are made of plastic.

The device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 octa-core processor and a Mali-G68 MC4 GPU. It comes with 8GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage, with the option to expand storage via a microSD card.

Out of the box, the smartphone came with Android 13 based One UI 5.1, but Samsung is offering four generations of updates, making it good for up to Android 17.

Galaxy A34 gets the OneUI 6.0 Beta program

As always, Samsung is once again leading on the front to roll out the OneUI 6.0 update for flagship as well as mid-range smartphones. The program is already live for the Galaxy S23 Series, and the Galaxy A54. Interestingly, the beta program is now live for mid-range smartphones ahead of Galaxy S22.

Samsung Galaxy A34 is receiving a beta firmware version A346BXXU4ZWI1 update using 2GB in size. It is rolling out for the users who have opted for the OneUI 6.0 beta program. We expect a broader rollout across more countries like China, Germany, India, Poland, and South Korea in the coming few days.

The users who are interested in participating in the Galaxy A34 beta test should head over to the Samsung Members App on their smartphones. Upon signing in, the user should head over to the app’s home page and tap on the OneUI 6.0 Beta Program banner. Once registered, the device will receive the OneUI 6.0 Beta update by heading to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.

An exclusive report from the house of 91Mobiles Hindi claims that Samsung is preparing for the release of Galaxy A34 5G with 6GB RAM in India. The report also claims that the device will be priced at INR 28,999 (~$352). The price of the newer variant is going to be INR 3,000 (~$36) cheaper than the 8GB one. Further, the brand will offer a bank discount of up to INR 3,000 and when paired with the Samsung Shop App welcome voucher worth INR 1,000 (~$12), it will bring the price of the device as low as INR 24,999 (~$303).

Samsung has been reportedly working on two new addition to its A-series of smartphones, the Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G. We had previously covered the reparability score of the Galaxy A54, and it was surprisingly higher than the Galaxy S23 smartphone. Both the Galaxy A54 and Galaxy S23 are very identical in terms of design and looks. Now, the Galaxy A54 5G smartphone, along with the Galaxy A34 5G has been listed on the UAE’s telecom regulator, TDRA, and is expected to be launched in the coming months.

Prior to the formal launch, both devices have been listed on the TDRA certification. Although the certification does not provide any technical information about the smartphone, it does suggest that the handsets will soon be released. The listing also confirms that the smartphones will debut in the marketplaces of UAE.
