The South Korean company is now gearing up to launch new Galaxy A series smartphones including the Galaxy A41. So far, past reports have revealed few details on the specs of the smartphone. A fresh report on PriceBaba carries the CAD renders of the Galaxy A41 leaked by reputed tipster OnLeaks. The new renders and the 360-degree of the phone has revealed its entire design.

As it can be seen in the images, the Galaxy A41 smartphone sports an Infinity-U notch on its display. The handset appears to be fitted with a 6-inch or 6.1-inch screen. The side bezels of the phone appear slim, but the bottom bezel is a bit thick. The dimensions of the smartphone are 150 x 70 x 7.9mm. Its thickness increases to 8.9mm at the rear camera bump.

The back panel of the phone appears to be glossy polycarbonate material and it is decked with a rectangle camera module at the top-left corner. The camera module includes three sensors and an LED flash. According to OnLeaks, it includes a 48-megapixel main lens. It could be the Samsung GM1 sensor.

The rear shell of the Galaxy A41 lacks a fingerprint reader. This suggests that the phone could be equipped with an in-display fingerprint reader. The predecessor Galaxy A40 had a traditional fingerprint scanner on its back. The right edge of the Galaxy A41 has a power key and a volume rocker. The SIM card tray is on the left side of the smartphone. The bottom edge of the smartphone has an external speaker, a USB-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The appearance of Samsung Galaxy A41 on the benchmarking platform today hints at Samsung’s plan of expanding its 2020 Galaxy A-series. Last year, Samsung’s Galaxy A-line was a huge success and the company would certainly want to cash on it with newer additions that would continue to impact in the budget and mid-range smartphone segments. Prior to this, the company had launched the Galaxy A40 model in March 2019.

According to the Geekbench listing, the SM-A415F phone has recorded 1684 and 5043 in the single-core and multi-core tests of Geekbench 4. Like its predecessor, the Galaxy A41 would run on Android 10 OS. It could be overlaid with Samsung’s latest One 2.0 UI.

The handset is powered by MT6768V octa-core chipset that has a 1.70 base frequency. It is nothing but the MediaTek Helio P65 processor. The Geekbench listing further states that it will be equipped with 4 GB of RAM.

Samsung Galaxy A41 specifications (Rumored)

The appearance of the Galaxy A41’s battery on South Korea’s certification website SafetyKorea suggested a battery pack certified with model number EB-BA415ABY. The Galaxy A41 phone may come with have a slightly higher battery life than Galaxy A40 at 3500mAh and rumours also suggest a 15W fast charging support

An upgrade over Galaxy A40, the Galaxy A41 phone may sport a triple rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary camera and an unknown secondary lens. The third lens could be a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The job of taking selfies would however be handled by a high resolution 25MP front camera. The device may come with a 64 GB native storage. Samsung is yet to confirm on the existence of Galaxy A41. The predecessor smartphone had launched in March last year. This hints at a first-quarter launch for its successor as well.

The South Korean company may also unveil the Galaxy A31 smartphone alongside the Galaxy A41. Rumors have so far revealed that the Galaxy A31 has a 5,000mAh battery and a 48-megapixel + 5-megapixel + macro triple camera setup. It could be arriving in 64 GB and 128 GB storage choices.

The A-series was a tremendous success in 2019 and the tech giant is looking to capitalise on last year’s success this year 2020 with the introduction of the Galaxy A51 and A71. The company is also targeting the lower mid-range segment with the Galaxy A31 and A41. Before now, little is known about the two models except that Samsung had trademarked the monikers. A new leak has, however, changed all that as details of both Galaxy A-series models (Galaxy A31 and A41) have been outed.

The leak focuses on just the battery and camera specs of both models. It touts the Galaxy A31 as coming with a 48MP main camera as well as a 5MP macro shooter which would be a noticeable step up from the A30 and it’s 16MP + 5MP combo. On the battery aspect, the A31 will pack an impressive 5,000 mAh cell.

On the other hand, the Galaxy A41 will also present with a 48MP main camera sensor but the leak stopped short of revealing the other sensors at the rear. The front-facing one is tipped to come in at 25MP. The Galaxy A31 and A41 have previously been revealed to come with 64GB of storage on its base model.

There is still no word yet on the launch date but we expect the company to begin taking the wraps off the mid-range models after the flagship Galaxy S20 models get launched.

The base model of most of the Galaxy A-series arriving next year will have an internal storage of 64 GB. These new A-line smartphones are expected to offer up to 128 GB of native storage. Recent reports have revealed that the South Korean company is working on other A-series phones such as Galaxy A51, Galaxy A71 and Galaxy A81. The rumor mill has so far revealed that it has a 6.5-inch S-AMOLED display that offers full HD+ resolution and it could be powered by Exynos 9611 SoC and 4 GB of RAM. It may arrive in 64 GB and 128 GB internal storage choices.

The Android 10 flavored with One UI 2.0 may come preloaded on the device.
A few weeks ago, Samsung applied for trademarks for 9 new Galaxy A smartphones which will launch next year. Today, the camera specs for 8 of those phones have leaked, way ahead of their release dates.

The source of the leak is Sudhanshu Ambhore @Sudhanshu1414. He had previously teased that he had info about eight new devices scheduled for launch next year before tweeting the details today.

The phones are the Galaxy A21, Galaxy A31, Galaxy A41, Galaxy A51, Galaxy A61, Galaxy A71, Galaxy A81, and Galaxy A91.

Galaxy A20

Galaxy A21

The Galaxy A21 will come with triple rear cameras, one more sensor than its predecessor, the Galaxy A20. The primary camera is a 13MP sensor that is paired with an 8MP wide-angle camera and a 5MP depth sensor.

Galaxy A31

The Galaxy A30 also has dual rear cameras but its successor, the Galaxy A31 will have three. It will keep the 16MP primary sensor, upgrades the 5MP ultrawide camera to 8MP and adds a 5MP depth sensor.

Galaxy A41

The Galaxy A40 which also has a 16MP + 5MP dual camera combo will get a triple camera setup for its successor. The Galaxy A41 will have a 24MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 5MP depth sensor.

Galaxy A51

Samsung will switch to quad rear cameras for the Galaxy A51. The main camera will be a 32MP sensor paired with a 12MP ultrawide camera, a 12MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom and a 5MP depth sensor.

Galaxy A61

The Galaxy A60’s successor will also get the quad-rear camera treatment. There is a 48MP main camera on the Galaxy A61. It will also have an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 10MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom like the Galaxy A51, and also a 5MP depth sensor.

Galaxy A71

The Galaxy A71 will also get a 48MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide sensor, another 12MP sensor but telephoto with 2x optical zoom, and then a ToF sensor.

Galaxy A81

The Galaxy A81 is Samsung’s most powerful A series phone at the moment but it will soon be dethroned by the upcoming Galaxy A90. The Galaxy A81 will have quad rear cameras and we doubt it will adopt the slide+rotate design of the Galaxy A80’s triple rear cameras.

The main camera of the Galaxy A81 is a 64MP sensor and it will be paired with a 16MP ultrawide angle camera, a 12MP telephoto camera with optical zoom (source not sure if it is 2x or 5x) and a Time of Flight sensor.

Galaxy A91

Last but definitely not least is the Galaxy A91, a successor to the yet-to-be-announced Galaxy A90. This will make use of Samsung’s 108MP sensor, most probably the one which was announced recently. It will add a 16MP ultrawide camera, a 12MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom and a ToF camera.

Here are some key camera specs of Samsung Galaxy A series of 2020. pic.twitter.com/c7YifHcNUX

Samsung’s Galaxy A series lineup for next year will be packing some serious camera specs which should make the competition worried. However, the authenticity of the above info is still unconfirmed. The Galaxy A20 launched in April which means a successor is still about eight months away. Even if the above specs are true, as of the time of writing, Samsung may decide to change some features.

The new Galaxy A series already has several members starting from the entry-level Galaxy A10 to the mid-range Galaxy A40 and to the Galaxy A80 which currently sits at the top. Samsung is planning to release more models such as the Snapdragon 855-powered Galaxy A90 and the budget Galaxy A10s.

According to the latest reports, the Korean smartphone company has already registered the names for next year’s models at the European Union Intellectual Property Office.

The document shows Samsung has registered the following names for 2020’s Galaxy A series:

Galaxy A11

Galaxy A21

Galaxy A31

Galaxy A41

Galaxy A51

Galaxy A61

Galaxy A71

Galaxy A81

Galaxy A91

We are not sure if these are all the Galaxy A phones that will launch next year, but knowing Samsung we are pretty sure there will be more with “e” and “s” suffixes.

We also believe some of these phones will launch under the Galaxy M line in some other markets. The Galaxy A40s, for example, is sold as the Galaxy M30 in markets outside China. The Galaxy A60 sold in China is also the same device sold as the Galaxy M40 in India.
