Samsung Galaxy C10 has just appeared in some alleged renders which showcase a brand new design with several improvements over the previous generation. We cannot guarantee anything about the reliability of these renders: they have been published by a Youtuber who often shares render based on leaks about upcoming devices. So, keep in mind that we may be just talking about a concept which may never come true. According to the renders, the upcoming upper-midrange by the Korean giant of the hi-tech market will sport a display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and very narrow bezels.

While the side bezels of Samsung Galaxy C10 are almost invisible, the one on the lower side is thick enough to contain a physical Home key with a fingerprint reader embedded. The design of the handset seems to be entirely made of metal, considering the presence of the antenna bands on the rear side. At the center of the upper part, there is a dual camera setup in a vertical configuration paired with a dual LED flash. According to the Youtuber, the phone will be released in at least three colors, which are hues of black, gray, and blue.

The volume rocker of the alleged Samsung Galaxy C10 is placed on the left side, while the power key is on the opposite side of the phone. According to a recent sighting on AnTuTu, Samsung Galaxy C10 will sport a 6-inch display with a Quad HD+ resolution.On the hardware side, it should rock an octa-core Snapdragon 660 chipset, that is the best upper-midrange SoC by Qualcomm. From what rumors suggest, the device will also be equipped with a big battery (the capacity is expected to be 4000 mAh) which will support fast charging with Quick Charge 4.0 technology. Samsung Galaxy C10 should launch in May or June.

Since a Samsung phone with the same model number has shown up AnTuTu benchmarking site, it seems that the arrival of Galaxy C10 is drawing near.

Early rumors from the start of the previous year had claimed that the Galaxy C10 (SM-C9100) and Galaxy C10 Plus (SM-C9150) will be launching together. However, a well-known tipster had later claimed that Samsung had killed the SM-C9100 project and a recent tweet from the same leakster states that the Galaxy C10 Plus moniker has been dropped. Hence, the SM-C9150 is likely to launch as Galaxy C10.

The AnTuTu listing of SM-C9150 has revealed that it will come pre-installed with Android 7.1.1 Nougat. As previous rumors have claimed, it is fueled by Snapdragon 660 and 6 GB of RAM. Its display will be support full HD resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels which suggests that the handset won’t be featuring the trendy full screen design. Lastly, the AnTuTu has also revealed that it has an internal storage of 64 GB.

The renders of the Galaxy C10 have suggested that it will be arriving with a vertically arranged dual camera setup on its back panel. Since the C10 is expected to arrive with a 16:9 aspect ratio screen of 6 inches, it is likely to feature a front-mounted fingerprint scanner. It is rumored to come with a huge battery of 4,000mAh capacity.

Samsung has recently confirmed that the Galaxy Note 8 would be coming with advanced and richer multimedia functionalities. Recently, it was reported that Samsung Electro-Mechanics is building the dual camera system for the Galaxy Note 8. Speculations have it that that dual rear camera system of the Note 8 will be featuring a 13-megapixel wide-angle lens and 12-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom support      . The official website of the South Korean company has been updated with some new information on dual rear camera sensors through which the photography capabilities of the dual camera system of the Note 8 have been revealed.

The dual camera sensors that will be arriving on Note 8 could be a low power consuming module that carries support for high-speed autofocus. The dual camera sensor may support low-light photography and it could be enabled with anti-shake feature.

The above image shows the difference between snapping images with a single camera sensor and a dual camera system. Even in the dark, the Galaxy Note 8’s dual cameras would be able to shoot bright and clear images. This feature may become available on the Note 8 as Super Night Shot. Another image shows how high dynamic range (HDR) helps in improving a dull image.

With depth application, the dual camera sensors will be able to refocused image by calculating the height of the subject and distance between camera and the subject. This will make it possible for the user to blur the foreground or background after a photo has been shot.

With Smart Zoom, users will be able to apply 3x digital zoom as well as 3x optical zoom to shoot clearer images. The loseless zoom will make it possible to zoom an image without losing its colors and details. The Perspective Effect feature will allow users to rotate the image to pre-defined degrees. The Background Effect will possibly allow users to add different kinds of effects to the background.

Original post: At the beginning of May, Chinese leakster mmddj_China had revealed that Samsung’s first smartphone featuring dual rear cameras will be the Galaxy C10 and the Galaxy Note 8. Since then, several details of the alleged Galaxy C10 have surfaced. In the past week, its key specs and pricing were revealed and today, its leaked press renders have surfaced.

Samsung Galaxy C10 Press Renders

The Galaxy C10 press renders that have surfaced shows that the phablet would be available in two color choices such as rose gold and black. The phablet appears to sport a metallic chassis with a vertically aligned dual camera module sitting on the back panel. A dual-LED flash is available on the right of the dual camera system.

The phone is rumored to feature a dedicated button for Bixby AI. This could be the button sitting on the right side of the Galaxy C10. The left features volume rockers and a Power key.

The top and bottom portions of the rear panel feature the antenna bands. The front side of the phone has a selfie camera sitting on the top bezel and a Home button that is most likely integrated with a fingerprint scanner is seen on its bottom bezel. The phablet sports narrow bezels on its left and right sides. A leaked video that had surfaced around two weeks ago matches with the press renders of the Galaxy C10.

In the previous week, a South Korean publication had spilled the beans on the specifications and pricing of Galaxy C10. The upcoming phablet is said aimed towards China in order to resurrect Samsung’s market share in the country. The leaked shots of the protective case reveal that the SM-7310 Galaxy J7 (2017) would be coming with a vertically aligned dual rear cameras. The model number of the Chinese Galaxy J7 (2017) is J7310 and the regular Galaxy J7 (2017) has a model number of SM-J730 which does not feature a dual rear camera system. However, both the smartphones seem to be sporting the same-shaped rear camera housing.  There is no information available on the specifications of the Chinese edition of Galaxy J7 (2017), but it may come with specs that are available on J730 model.

The above video that shows 360-degree view of the Samsung Galaxy C10 shows that vertically stacked double cameras on the rear side of the phone. It is equipped with a dual-LED flash on right, but the previous renders showed the flash sitting between the two camera sensors. The two keys present on the left side of the Galaxy C10 are for controlling volume and Power button. There is a dedicated Bixby AI button on the right edge of the phone.

The bottom side of the Galaxy C10 has a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB Type-C port and an external speaker. The phone is likely to feature a metal unibody chassis. The topside of the phone is barren. The front sides show presence a Home button that seems to be integrated with a fingerprint sensor.

Rumors have revealed that the Galaxy C10 would be featuring a 5.5-inch screen. Its dimensions are 152.5 x 74.8 x 7.68mm. It is expected to launch as a successor edition for Galaxy C9 Pro. it is speculated to be powered by Snapdragon 660 chipset and 6 GB of RAM.

Shortly after the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ were announced, an image of a phone said to be a prototype of the S8+ was released online. This prototype had dual rear cameras leading some sources to conclude that Samsung had flirted with the idea before shelving it.

After that there were rumors that the Galaxy Note 8 will be the first Samsung phone to sport dual cameras but they were put down by more rumors that mentioned the dual camera treatment will appear on a Galaxy C smartphone. That smartphone is the Galaxy C10.

Last week, a Chinese leakster had released an image of what the Galaxy C10 might look like when it launches and save for the dual cameras added, it is no different from the Galaxy C9 Pro. If you remember, the C9 Pro is Samsung’s first 6GB RAM phone, so it doesn’t come as a surprise that the Galaxy C10 will be the first to have dual cameras.

A new image that appears to be from an official poster has been released on Weibo. This is the Pink Gold version of the Galaxy C10 and it is a bit different from the image from last week. The signature split antenna design are at the top and are connected to the dual camera setup by a vertical line. However the LED flash sits in between the two sensors and not on the right. The entire camera housing also has a different design.

From the image, we can see there is no fingerprint scanner on the rear. Galaxy C9 Pro, This means it will also have its fingerprint scanner in front like the Galaxy C9 Pro.

The Galaxy C10 is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 660 processor. Other configurations including the camera specifications are unknown at the moment.

According to Chinese leakster @mmddj_china, the rumored Samsung Galaxy C10 has a model number of SM-C9150. It is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 660 chipset which is all scheduled to get unveiled tomorrow. The SD 660 chipset carries support for dual rear cameras. The Galaxy C10 will be featuring a dual camera setup on the rear side. As a sketch of the alleged phone had surfaced a few days ago, the phone will be gracing a vertically arranged dual camera module.  The camera configurations are not known yet.

Since the sketch does not show a fingerprint panel on the backside of the alleged Galaxy C10, it is likely to be embedded in the Home button or under the screen. The Chinese tipster has claimed that the smartphone would be featuring a Bixby button. Currently, the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ are the only Samsung smartphones to come with support for Bixby AI assistant.

The leakster has also revealed that the other Galaxy C phone arriving in the near future is the Samsung Galaxy C9 (2017) and its model number of SM-C9100. However, the dual rear camera feature will be only available on Galaxy C10.

Nothing else is known on the specifications of the phone. Since the C9 Pro from November last year came with 6 GB of RAM, the upcoming C9 (2017) and C10 may feature 6 GB of RAM. There is no confirmation on when the Galaxy C10 would be unveiled. However, early speculations hint the C10 would be unveiled by the end of this quarter or arrive in Q3.
