We had so many events that it was a bit hard to keep count of the many devices that launched in the span of a month. <p>As usual, we have entries from well-known brands like <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/oppo">OPPO</a>, <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/xiaomi">Xiaomi</a>, <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/redmi">Redmi</a>, <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/realme">realme</a>, <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/nokia">Nokia</a>, and a few surprises from companies like <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/sony">Sony</a> and <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/tcl">TCL</a>. So without wasting your time, let&#8217;s dive into it straight away.</p>
<h3><strong>Redmi Gaming Smartphone</strong></h3>
<p>Gaming smartphones have their own niche audience and companies like <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/asus">ASUS</a>, <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/nubia">Nubia</a>, <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/black-shark">Black Shark</a> never fail to tap into the excitement. However, they are going to have a new entry and probably a potential rival, Redmi.</p>
<p>Redmi&#8217;s Product Director Wang Teng has confirmed that the company will hold a launch event this month and rumors are rife that the star of the show could be the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/redmi-gaming-phone">Redmi&#8217;s first gaming phone</a>. So far, we know that a device with model number <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/03/31/redmi-gaming-phone-with-dimensity-1200-could-be-rebranded-as-poco-handset/">M2104K10C/M2104K10I</a> under respective brands Redmi/POCO could be the upcoming device.</p>
<p>It is confirmed to feature MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset something that we saw in the likes of <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/03/31/realme-gt-neo-china-launch-price-specs-features/">realme GT Neo as well</a>.</p>
<h3><strong>Samsung Galaxy F12, F02s</strong></h3>
<p>Samsung is beginning the month by launching two devices under the F-series- Galaxy F12, Galaxy F02s on April 5. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/04/01/samsung-galaxy-f02s-f12-to-launch-on-april-5-key-specs-appear-on-flipkart/">Teasers so far hint</a> that they share a lot of specs with the already launched <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/03/11/samsung-galaxy-m12-india-launch-price-specs-features/">Galaxy M12</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/01/07/samsung-galaxy-m02s-with-snapdragon-450-5000mah-battery-and-13mp-triple-cameras-launched-for-rs-8999-123/">M02s</a>.</p>

So far, leaks say that the devices could be Nokia <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/03/15/nokia-x10-nokia-x20-5g-key-specifications-and-pricing-tipped/">X10 &amp; X20</a>, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/03/16/nokia-g10-spotted-with-helio-p22-nokia-g20s-detail-appear/">G10 &amp; G20</a>, and an <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/03/22/379036-nokia-c20-might-launch-alongside-g10-g20-x10-x20-april-8/">entry-level C20</a>. The Nokia C20 is likely to sport a 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, run Android 11 OS, and come with an 89 euros price tag.</p>
<p>The X-series is said to be 5G-capable with both the X10 &amp; X20 featuring <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/01/04/qualcomms-new-snapdragon-480-5g-chipset-will-bring-even-more-affordable-5g-phones/">Snapdragon 480</a> chipset and up to 6GB RAM. However, they are said to differ in storage, camera, display(6.2-inches on X20), and inturn price as well.</p>
<p>The Nokia G10 and G20 are said to share similarities with <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/product/nokia-5.4">Nokia 5.4</a>. Here, the G10 is expected to have a 6.4-inch HD+ display, <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/helio-p22">Helio P22</a> chipset, 3/4GB RAM, 32/64GB storage, 48MP quad-camera, 4,000mAh battery with 10W charging.</p>
<p>However, the G20 could have improvements in cameras, and feature a powerful MediaTek chipset, 4/64GB storage and a 169 euros price tag.</p>
<h3><strong>Lenovo Legion 2 Pro</strong></h3>
<p>Lenovo will unveil the Legion 2 Pro in <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/03/24/lenovo-legion-2-pro-launch-date-is-april-8/">China on April 8</a>. Compared to the standard <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/lenovo-legion-pro">variant</a>, this will have a slightly bigger 6.92-inch 144Hz Samsung E4 AMOLED FHD+ display.</p>
<p>To compensate for the bezel-less, notch-less display, it is likely to have a selfie shooter on the side of the phone.</p>
<p>Under the hood, Master Lu benchmarks already reveal that it will sport Snapdragon 888 chipset, 12GB/16 RAM, 128/256/512GB storage, and run Android 11 OS. We can expect other specs like dual USB-C ports,  <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/03/12/alleged-lenovo-legion-2-pro-receives-3c-certification/">110W fast charging</a>, and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/03/03/lenovo-legion-2-pro-dual-turbo-cooling-system/">dual-turbo cooling fan</a>.</p>

<h3><strong>Other expected launches</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>
<h3><strong>realme 8 5G, realme 8i</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>realme has <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/03/26/realme-8-5g-8i-india-launch-soon/">already confirmed</a> that it will launch a 5G version of the realme 8 and a budget-friendly realme 8i in India. Out of this, the realme 8 5G has already stopped at FCC certification.</li>
<li>However, this launch might skipped to next month as well so take this with a pinch of salt.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>
<h4><strong>Vivo V21 series</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li>Vivo V21 series was rumored to come before in India but that hasn&#8217;t happened yet. The company had other ideas and brought a flagship <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/03/25/vivo-x60-pro-plus-india-launch-price-specs-features/">X60 series</a> to the country. However, it could soon launch one of the supposed members of the V21 series- <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/vivo-v21-se">Vivo V21 SE</a>.</li>
<li>Reports reveal that it could be a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/03/22/vivo-v21-se-dimensity-800u-arrive-soon-india/">rebadged version of the iQOO U3</a> which means it could come with a Dimensity 800U chipset with 5G support. Let&#8217;s hope that Vivo doesn&#8217;t skip any further.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>
<h4><strong>Oppo A74 4G &amp; 5G, A94 &amp; A54 5G</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li>OPPO is said to bring the remaining devices of the OPPO Axx series and it might happen this month. The company has already unveiled the OPPO A54 4G version already. Next in line could be the OPPO A74, A54, and A94 5G models.</li>
<li>The OPPO A74 4G is said to come in certain markets as <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/04/01/oppo-a74-4g-spotted-at-geekbench-likely-to-debut-as-rebranded-oppo-f19/">rebranded OPPO F19</a> while the 5G version could have Snapdragon 480 chipset.</li>
<li>On the other hand, the OPPO A94 5G could be the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/03/18/oppo-f19-pro-plus-5g-reno5-z-5g-asia-a94-5g-europe-rebrand/">OPPO F19 Pro+ 5G for Europe</a> whereas OPPO A54 5G is said to be a rebadged version of <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/01/15/oppo-a93-5g-with-90hz-display-snapdragon-480-48mp-cameras-launched-in-china/">OPPO A93 5G</a>.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>
<h4><strong>Huawei P50 series</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li>When it comes to <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/huawei">Huawei</a>, things haven&#8217;t been so smooth lately. The company is struggling a lot to gather the supply chain after the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/huawei-us-ban">US ban</a> and it is hitting them hard. Previously rumored to come this month, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/03/29/huawei-p50-harmonyos-new-report/">launch of the Huawei P50 series</a> looks to be a far cry for now.</li>
<li>However, anything can happen in between so let&#8217;s hope that Huawei turns tables to come back stronger.</li>

The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-f62">Galaxy F62</a> that debuted in February this year in India was later rebranded as <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-m62">Galaxy M62</a> in other markets. The microsites of the upcoming Galaxy F02s and Galaxy F12 have emerged on Flipkart. The listings have confirmed that the F02s and F12 will break cover at 12 PM (local time) on April 5 in India.</p>
<h3><strong>Samsung Galaxy F02s</strong></h3>

It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery and it lacks a fingerprint scanner.</p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400">The existence of Galaxy F02s is revealed by the phone’s Google Play Console listing. It confirms the handset to be powered by </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Qualcomm/"><span style="font-weight: 400">Qualcomm</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> Snapdragon 450 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Further, the device will flaunt a display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels (HD+) and 280 DPI. Lastly, on the software front, it will ship with </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Android-10/"><span style="font-weight: 400">Android 10</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> (One UI Core 2.x).</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">All these parameters and the branding suggest it to be a rebadged </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-a02s/"><span style="font-weight: 400">Galaxy A02s</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> and </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-m02s/"><span style="font-weight: 400">Galaxy M02s</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> respectively. Hence, we expect the smartphone to retain all the features of the other two.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Also, since the Galaxy F series is exclusive to India, we think it should be only available in the said country. However, a different phone (Galaxy M02s) with the exact specs are already available in the region. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Therefore, the Galaxy F02s could sport a different rear design to differentiate itself. That said, the South Korean tech giant is yet to officially confirm the launch date of this budget smartphone.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">What are your thoughts on </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Samsung/"><span style="font-weight: 400">Samsung</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> releasing the same phone with different names? Do you think the company is following this route because of its Chinese competitors (known for rebranding)? Do let us know in the comment section below.</span></p>
