<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/samsung/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Samsung</a> is gearing up to launch the Galaxy F36, and ahead of the official announcement, the device has been spotted in the Google Play Console. The listing provides us with our first clear look at the design and reveals a few key specifications of the phone.</p>

<p>On the front, the Galaxy F36 features a waterdrop notch display. It&#8217;s certainly a dated design, but Samsung still prefers using it for some of its more affordable phones. </p>

<h2><strong>Here’s what the Galaxy F36 looks like</strong></h2>

<p>Around the back, it has a single pill-shaped main camera module where two of the sensors are nested inside another oval cutout, and a third one is placed separately below. The LED flash is positioned off to the right. Altogether, it sticks to Samsung’s typical layout for mid-range hardware.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Samsung-Galaxy-F36-design-leak-via-Google-Play-Console-rating.jpg?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-692183" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Samsung-Galaxy-F36-design-leak-via-Google-Play-Console-rating.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Samsung-Galaxy-F36-design-leak-via-Google-Play-Console-rating-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Samsung-Galaxy-F36-design-leak-via-Google-Play-Console-rating-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Samsung-Galaxy-F36-design-leak-via-Google-Play-Console-rating-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Samsung-Galaxy-F36-design-leak-via-Google-Play-Console-rating-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<p>The listing also confirms the screen has a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a pixel density of 450 ppi. Under the hood, the Galaxy F36 is powered by the in-house Exynos 1380 SoC.  It’s paired with 6GB of RAM, and the software side shows Android 15 running with Samsung’s One UI 7 on top. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Samsung-Galaxy-F36-google-play-console-listing.jpg?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-692185" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Samsung-Galaxy-F36-google-play-console-listing.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Samsung-Galaxy-F36-google-play-console-listing-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Samsung-Galaxy-F36-google-play-console-listing-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Samsung-Galaxy-F36-google-play-console-listing-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Samsung-Galaxy-F36-google-play-console-listing-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<p>This new appearance comes after the Galaxy F36 was spotted on Samsung India’s support site earlier this month, as well as on the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/06/02/samsung-galaxy-f36-5g-edges-closer-to-launch-following-bluetooth-sig-certification/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Bluetooth SIG certification site</a>. The device is expected to launch in India soon, possibly before the end of the month. As with other F-series phones, it&#8217;s likely to be sold via Flipkart, while its sibling, the Galaxy M36, could land on Amazon.</p>

<p>Interestingly, the Play Console and Google Play Supported Devices list point to the F36, M36, and a third model called the Galaxy Jump 4, all sharing the same internal codename, “m36k.” The Jump 4 was listed with model number SM-M366K, the M36 with SM-M366B, and the F36 with SM-E366B.&nbsp;</p>

<p>All signs suggest these are just regional rebrands of the same hardware, tailored for different markets. If Samsung sticks to its usual strategy, the F36 will be India-focused, the M36 will see a broader release, and the Jump 4 may stay confined to Korea or China.</p>

<p>After appearing on official support pages last month, the Samsung Galaxy F36 has now surfaced yet again, this time in the Bluetooth SIG database. The device appeared on the certification site with model number SM-E366B/DS.&nbsp;</p>

<p>This comes weeks after the same model was spotted on India’s BIS certification platform. There is still no confirmation about when the device will officially debut, but these backend developments often precede a launch by a few weeks.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="430" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Samsung-Galaxy-F36-5G-Bluetooth-SIG.jpg?x10805" alt="Samsung Galaxy F36 5G Bluetooth SIG" class="wp-image-689709" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Samsung-Galaxy-F36-5G-Bluetooth-SIG.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Samsung-Galaxy-F36-5G-Bluetooth-SIG-300x143.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Samsung-Galaxy-F36-5G-Bluetooth-SIG-768x367.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Samsung-Galaxy-F36-5G-Bluetooth-SIG-696x333.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Samsung-Galaxy-F36-5G-Bluetooth-SIG-879x420.jpg 879w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<p>Interestingly, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/samsung/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Samsung </a>skipped releasing a Galaxy F35 last year after launching the Galaxy F34 5G in August 2023. The apparent jump in numbering could be part of the brand’s rebranding strategy or a simple effort to align naming conventions with other series. </p>

<h2><strong>Galaxy F36 will likely be a rebranded model</strong></h2>

<p>The F36 5G will likely follow a pattern similar to that of its predecessors. That is, it might closely resemble its M-series counterparts like the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-m34-5g/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Galaxy M34 </a>and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-f34/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">F34</a>, both of which share similar specs, apart from a few differences here and there. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/Samsung-Galaxy-F34-5G-image-1024x576.jpg?x10805" alt="Samsung Galaxy F34 5G image" class="wp-image-553527" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/Samsung-Galaxy-F34-5G-image-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/Samsung-Galaxy-F34-5G-image-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/Samsung-Galaxy-F34-5G-image-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/Samsung-Galaxy-F34-5G-image-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/Samsung-Galaxy-F34-5G-image-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/Samsung-Galaxy-F34-5G-image-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/Samsung-Galaxy-F34-5G-image.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Samsung Galaxy F34 5G </figcaption></figure></div>

<p>In this case, the Galaxy F36 5G is expected to be a reworked version of the yet-to-be-announced Galaxy M36 5G. The latter has also appeared on Geekbench with the Exynos 1380 chipset, 6GB of RAM, and Android 15. These specs could carry over to the F36 if the devices are indeed counterparts.</p>

<p>As of now, there are no official specifications listed for the Galaxy F36 5G on Samsung’s websites or certification documents. Based on Samsung’s previous strategy, it’s likely the Galaxy M36 will be sold via Amazon, while the F36 variant could be exclusive to Flipkart, continuing the brand’s platform-specific approach.</p>

<p>With multiple certifications now secured and support pages live, it’s clear that Samsung is preparing to make the Galaxy F36 5G official sooner rather than later.</p>
