Roughly two months after the Snapdragon variant of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 appeared on Geekbench, it has now been followed by the Exynos variant.

This year’s Galaxy Note will be powered by the Exynos 9810 – the same SoC in the Exynos variant of the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+. The octa-core chipset is clocked at 1.79GHz as seen below. Geekbench also revealed the phone runs Android 8.1 Oreo and has 6GB 0f RAM.

For the single-core test, the device scored 2737 points while the multi-core test score is 9064 points. That is slightly higher than the 2190 and 8806 points scored by the Snapdragon 845 variant. This shouldn’t be surprising as the Exynos variants of Samsung’  flagships are known to offer better performance than the Qualcomm variants.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is also expected to launch early this year. There were reports a few months ago of a July launch date and it appears they may be true as a recent tweet from SamsungMobile.News (Samsung_News_) said the phone will probably launch on the 29th of July.

The Galaxy Note 9 is expected to largely look like its predecessor, save for the fingerprint scanner being moved to a more convenient position. It also won’t come with an in-display fingerprint scanner. However, the display will be bigger at 6.4” and the cameras will be upgraded.
