<p>The report has yet to be confirmed but also offers some interesting insight about Samsung&#8217;s latest premium grade smartphone lineup. Reportedly, the South Korean tech giant will launch 3 variants with there not being a Galaxy S20e but rather a Galaxy S20; followed by Galaxy S20 Plus and Galaxy S20 Ultra. This is quite similar to Apple&#8217;s decision on not launching an iPhone 11R but having the entry level start with iPhone 11 and offered a Pro and Max Pro variant.</p>

<p>Furthermore, the information gathered from a Twitter leak also arrived with a few minor details alongside it. Samsung Galaxy S20 will feature a 6.2 inch display while the Galaxy S20+ will arrive with a 6.7 inch display. The Galaxy S20 Ultra, on the other hand, arrives with a large 6.9 inch display. This makes it clear that the three smartphones are large in size and are likely to feature minimal bezels on every side.</p>

<p>Samsung&#8217;s Galaxy S10 series arrived in 4 variants with the S10e, S10, S10+ and a 5G variant; not including the speculated upcoming Galaxy S10 Lite. However, 5G is going to be an integral part of Qualcomm&#8217;s Snapdragon 865 SoC, so each model will arrive with the faster bandwidth compatibility.</p>

It was also where the last year&#8217;s flagship series, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/galaxy-s10/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Galaxy S10</a>, was unveiled. Galaxy S11 being launched in early February also allows the company to enjoy the attention to its premium handset before the arrival of <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/mwc-2020/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">MWC 2020</a>; a conference where various OEMs showcase what their latest and upcoming products have to offer.</p>

The report has also suggested that the flagship series will share the stage with the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/samsung-galaxy-fold-2/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Galaxy Fold 2</a>. Again, similar to how the Galaxy S10 arrived with the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-fold-5g/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Galaxy Fold</a> earlier this year.</p>

Now, it is reported that the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/galaxy-s11-plus/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Galaxy S11+</a>, the larger variant in the series, will be powered by a large 5,000mAh battery made by <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/brand/lg/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">LG</a>.</p>
<p>The Galaxy S11 series is likely to feature improvements across the board in comparison to its predecessor, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/galaxy-s10/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Galaxy S10</a> series. This holds true in performance with new processors, photography with new sensors and even battery life with better power optimizations and battery capacity.</p>

<p>According to a new report, the South Korean tech giant&#8217;s upcoming flagship series will not just offer better battery life with the use of its new generation <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/amoled/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">AMOLED</a> technology but offer bigger battery capacity as well. The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/galaxy-s11/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Galaxy S11</a> is said to be equipped with either the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/samsung-galaxy-note-10-plus/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Note 10+</a> battery of 4,300mAh or <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-a71/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Galaxy A71</a>&#8216;s 4,500mAh battery; a notable increase over the Galaxy S10.</p>
<figure id="attachment_295452" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-295452" style="width: 940px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" class="wp-image-295452 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Samsung-Galaxy-S11-battery.jpg?x10805" alt="Samsung Galaxy S11+" width="940" height="528" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Samsung-Galaxy-S11-battery.jpg 940w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Samsung-Galaxy-S11-battery-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Samsung-Galaxy-S11-battery-768x431.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Samsung-Galaxy-S11-battery-696x391.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/Samsung-Galaxy-S11-battery-748x420.jpg 748w" sizes="(max-width: 940px) 100vw, 940px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-295452" class="wp-caption-text">Reported Samsung Galaxy S11+ 5,100mAh Battery</figcaption></figure>
<p>On the other hand, Samsung&#8217;s <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/galaxy-s11e/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Galaxy S11e</a> is expected to arrive with a 3.730mAh battery over the 3,100mAh battery featured on the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-s10e-sd855/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Galaxy S10e</a>. And for the Galaxy S11+, the device may arrive with a battery capacity close to 5,000mAh, similar to the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/galaxy-m30/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Galaxy M30</a>. The reasons for such power boosts points towards a few demanding upgrades on the series.</p>
<h6 class="related"><strong>Editor&#8217;s Pick: <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/12/16/samsung-to-make-a-144mp-camera-sensor-using-14nm-processing/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Samsung to make a 144MP camera sensor using 14nm processing</a></strong></h6>
<p>The upcoming S11 lineup is likely to feature a higher refresh rate like 120Hz and arrive in <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/5g/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">5G</a> versions. Both features draw a considerable amount of power on their own and might drag the device behind in battery backup. According to industry sources, the large 5,000mAh battery is reported to be supplied by LG, a fellow South Korean electronics company. Notably, LG is also the world&#8217;s largest lithium-ion battery producer by capacity, so it is likely to be Samsung&#8217;s supplier.</p>

<p>Samsung has achieved this new significant surge in battery capacities by using a custom PMP packaging method. This method allows for the cells to have drastically reduced wrapping sizes allowing for either smaller packs with the same capacity or more power in the same battery size as older generations. Additionally, the supplier that is providing Samsung with the PMP module will also be supplying <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/brand/apple/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Apple</a>. Thus, we can also expect the Cupertino-based giant to offer high resolution displays and more with <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/2020-iphones/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">2020 iPhones</a>.</p>

It showcased a unique design that had never been seen before in a Samsung smartphone. However, since no official announcement has been made the accuracy of the leak still comes into question. But, a new report has just surfaced that reveals a case for the<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/galaxy-s11-plus/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"> Galaxy S11+</a> which matches with the previously leaked design.</p>
<figure id="attachment_292472" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-292472" style="width: 728px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" class="wp-image-292472 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/20191129_195133_311.jpg?x10805" alt="Samsung Galaxy S11+ Case" width="728" height="815" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/20191129_195133_311.jpg 728w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/20191129_195133_311-268x300.jpg 268w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/20191129_195133_311-696x779.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/20191129_195133_311-375x420.jpg 375w" sizes="(max-width: 728px) 100vw, 728px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-292472" class="wp-caption-text">Samsung Galaxy S11+ Case</figcaption></figure>
<p>According to new images found online, the case for the Samsung Galaxy S11+ can clearly be seen as having a distinct cutout for the penta camera module. It is in line with the previous design leak with the device having a rather large camera module which can be observed on the top left corner. On the front, a single center <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/punch-hole/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">punch-hole</a> selfie camera can be found.</p>

<p>Reportedly, the main camera of the Samsung Galaxy S11+ is a 108-megapixel shooter which is accompanied by a 48MP secondary camera, a ToF lens, a wide-angle camera, and a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/11/29/samsung-galaxy-s11-to-feature-a-new-bright-night-sensor-for-low-light-photography/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Bright Night sensor</a>. It is said to support 10x optical zoom and up to 100x hybrid zoom. Under the hood, it is speculated that the handset will be equipped with a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/qualcomm-snapdragon-865/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Qualcomm Snapdragon 865</a> or <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/11/25/samsung-galaxy-s11-geekbench-listing-reveals-exynos-9830-soc-exynos-990-and-12gb-ram/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Samsung&#8217;s Exynos 990</a> for its different regional variants. Furthermore, it is reportedly powered by a 4,900mAh battery and will be priced around 999 USD or roughly 7016 CNY.</p>

Although, the leakster that showcased the original renders is a veteran and has yet to be proven entirely inaccurate. It comes after leaks of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/11/23/samsung-galaxy-s11e-renders-leak-too-same-s11-design-but-with-triple-rear-cameras/">Galaxy S11e</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/11/22/samsung-galaxy-s11-renders-leak-note-10-like-front-and-penta-lens-camera-setup/">Galaxy S11</a>, both of which leaked last week. And just like the previous ones, this is also from Steve Hemmerstoffer (@OnLeaks) in partnership with <em>CashKaro</em>.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-291756" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/Galaxy-S11-Plus-b.jpg?x10805" alt="Galaxy S11 Plus render" width="1024" height="576" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/Galaxy-S11-Plus-b.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/Galaxy-S11-Plus-b-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/Galaxy-S11-Plus-b-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/Galaxy-S11-Plus-b-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/Galaxy-S11-Plus-b-747x420.jpg 747w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></p>
<p>The renders are based on CAD drawings and they show that Samsung will once again adopt the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-note-10/">Galaxy Note10&#8217;s</a> display design for the Galaxy S11 Plus. The curved display is reported to be a Dynamic AMOLED panel with a size of about 6.9-inches.</p>
<p>On the rear, the Galaxy S11 Plus has the same design we saw on its siblings but takes it up a notch. The design is the same black-housing-huge-bump but the main difference is the size. It is bigger now, much bigger, as a result of the sensors it houses which are actually five this time, two more than that of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-s10-plus/">Galaxy S10 Plus</a>.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-291757" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/Galaxy-S11-Plus.jpg?x10805" alt="Galaxy S11 Plus render" width="1024" height="576" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/Galaxy-S11-Plus.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/Galaxy-S11-Plus-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/Galaxy-S11-Plus-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/Galaxy-S11-Plus-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/Galaxy-S11-Plus-747x420.jpg 747w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></p>
<p>There are rumors that one of the sensors is Samsung&#8217;s 108MP sensor which <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/10/28/mi-cc9-pros-108mp-sensor-is-really-big-compared-to-a-12mp-sensor/">we already know is quite big</a> and takes up space. Samsung has <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/11/07/samsung-trademarks-space-zoom-yet-another-galaxy-s11-camera-feature/">trademarked some camera-related words</a> that are speculated to be names of camera features for its upcoming flagships, so we are not surprised at the number of sensors this beast of a phone packs.</p>
<p><iframe loading="lazy" width="696" height="392" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/7YgmAS4A61Y?feature=oembed" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe></p>
<p>The Galaxy S11 Plus has a USB Type-C port at the bottom flanked on the right by a grille for the speaker and on the left by the primary microphone. Another microphone sits at the top while the right side of the phone is home to the volume and power buttons. Unfortunately, the audio jack is now gone after 10 years.</p>
<p>The phone&#8217;s dimensions are given as 166.9 x 76 x 8.8 millimeters (10.2 millimeters including the camera bump).</p>
<p>Samsung&#8217;s Galaxy S11 Plus should arrive with either the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/10/23/samsung-announces-7nm-euv-exynos-990-flagship-processor/">Exynos 990</a> processor or Snapdragon 865 depending on the market. Its display is expected to have a 120Hz refresh rate, a feature that will be the trend for next year&#8217;s flagship phones. We also expect it to pack quite a big battery to power its huge display with support for wireless charging and reverse wireless charging.</p>
