<p><span style="font-weight: 400">According to a report by <a href="https://www.sammobile.com/news/galaxy-s21-fe-snapdragon-exynos/"><em>SamMobile</em></a>, the South Korean tech giant has confirmed that the </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-s21-fe-5g/"><span style="font-weight: 400">Samsung Galaxy S21 FE</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> is powered by </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/12/03/snapdragon-888-detailed-specifications-officially-confirmed/"><span style="font-weight: 400">Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 </span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">chip in the US as well as Europe. For the unaware, the latter region usually gets the Exynos variant.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">This is not the first time a flagship Galaxy product is coming with a Qualcomm chipset in Europe. The last year’s </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-s20-fe-5g/"><span style="font-weight: 400">Galaxy S20 FE 5G</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> also featured the SoC from the US-based chipmaker in Europe. However, the original Galaxy S20 and the Galaxy S21 models feature Exynos silicon.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">As far as other regions are concerned, there is a Galaxy S21 FE variant with ‘E’ in its model number. SamMobile points out that this version will house the </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/01/12/samsung-exynos-2100-announced-today-with-significant-upgrades-and-a-built-in-5g-modem/"><span style="font-weight: 400">Exynos 2100</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> SoC. The publication also says that Samsung will be offering this variant in most Asian countries.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">But unfortunately, the exact regions that will be receiving the Exynos version are not known at the moment. We expect to learn more about them once </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Samsung/"><span style="font-weight: 400">Samsung</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> starts revealing the availability of the handset in those markets.</span></p>
