But why should users bother changing the camera settings? Also, the One UI 6.1.1 update comes with the August security patch, which is not a current security update. Samsung was originally supposed to release One UI 6.1.1 at the end of August and could have provided an additional camera fix update with a September security patch.

This update fixes important security vulnerabilities and improves system optimization. I use the Galaxy S23 Ultra in my daily life and I have the Thailand ROM.

Therefore, the build number of the update for Thailand will be as follows: S918BXXS6CXG9 / S918BOXM6CXFD/S918BXXS6CXG9. There may be some changes in the build number depending on the region. But when you see that the update has the August 2024 security patch, you will know that this is the newly released update.

As the buildup to the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S23 series reaches its crescendo, another confirmation has come for the series. The Galaxy S23 will all feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor ahead of the Exynos chipset. A new leak relating to the release has all but confirmed the switch. Qualcomm is offering for the first time a faster and specialized version of its model. This follows the signing of a multi-year partnership to use Snapdragon chips in Galaxy smartphones. It is expected that the partnership will blossom into other models.

The special SD 8 Gen 2 chip has higher GPU and CPU clock speeds. This assures the improved performance of the chipset. The gaming performance and other Android tasks will be better achieved with the new chipset. The special Snapdragon chipset will generate more heat and it is not clear how Samsung hopes to overcome that. This is because sustained heat generation could be negatively impactful on the performance of the smartphone. We however expect Samsung to have made the necessary optimizations to overcome the problem.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 series is set to launch soon with various improvements over its predecessor. But now, a new report has suggested that the next gen flagship will also arrive with a new and improved cooling system as well.

Just a while ago, the GeekBench listing for the entire Samsung Galaxy S23 series was leaked, which showcased the performance of the overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Although a new report from AndroidHeadlines found that the latest GeekBench test for the Galaxy S23 Ultra managed to reach a score of 5,179 points. This meant that the South Korean tech giant managed to fix whatever issue that caused the performance to throttle. For those unaware, throttling basically implies fall in CPU performance when the chip gets too hot. According to tipster @AhmedQwaider888 on Twitter, the Samsung Galaxy S23 series will actually feature a more robust thermal management system.

Reportedly, the Galaxy S23 will feature a cooling system that is 1.6 times better than the one housed in the Galaxy S22. Similarly, the Galaxy S23+ will have a 2.8 times better cooling system than the Galaxy S22+. Lastly, the Galaxy S23 Ultra will also feature a cooling system that is 2.3 times better than the Galaxy S22 Ultra. So, we might seen upgrades across the board with the S23 series. The Samsung Galaxy S23 series is still months away, but the rumor mill has already started shredding its specifications into fine pieces. A recent leak gave us the display specs of the upcoming lineup. Now, a new leak reveals some interesting details about the S23 series’s processor. Samsung is apparently having internal conflicts about whether to use the in-house Exynos chip or Qualcomm’s next-gen SoC in the upcoming Galaxy flagships.

Noted tipster Ice Universe revealed via Weibo that Samsung’s MX (Mobile eXperience) division is not very happy with the performance of the company’s Exynos chipset in the Galaxy S22 smartphones and “hopes” the upcoming Galaxy S23 smartphones will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC. However, Samsung’s leadership wants to continue using the Exynos chipset in next year’s flagships.

Reports suggest Samsung’s Exynos 2300 SoC, which is said to be on par with Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, could power the Galaxy S23 series.

A recent report revealed that the S23 lineup will feature no upgrades in terms of display size. However, they may offer better specs, like supporting a higher peak brightness level, lower power consumption, and more.

Just like this year, the S23 series is said to have three models—the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra. The high-end S23 Ultra could feature some serious upgrades. As per a report, the device will feature a 200-megapixel primary sensor on the back having a size of 1/1.3 inches and 0.6μm sized pixels, and a larger aperture of f/1.7 for getting in more light.

All the models in the series are expected to be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 SoC and Exynos chipset and will focus on battery efficiency. Samsung is yet to confirm any details about the series. The Galaxy S23 series is expected to launch in 2023.
