As of right now, it appears that the Android 16 based beta update is rolling out for Galaxy S25 owners in select regions, namely India and Poland. Looking at the tweet shared by the tipster, the One UI 8 Beta for the Galaxy S25 carries the S938BXXU4ZYF3/S938BOXM4ZYF3/S938BXXU4BYF3 build versions. Samsung is adding the June 2025 security patch as well with the download size being around 3.6GB. This

Samsung’s latest One UI 8 Beta is set to bring upgrades to the Galaxy AI, allowing the Galaxy devices to analyze what’s on your screen or what the camera sees. Furthermore, the Now Bar and Now Brief are also on the way along with the option to make AI processes locally on the Galaxy phones.

Among the other new features, there is also audio sharing stream via Bluetooth LE audio thanks to QR codes (supported on Galaxy Buds), quicker registration and access to repair support via QR codes and NFC from the Samsung account. According to Raju Pullan, Samsung India MX Division’s Senior VP, the company has even widened the flagship distribution network to 17,000 outlets. This makes it more accessible in smaller cities in India. Notably, Samsung is manufacturing the Galaxy S25 series at the Noida facility for its Indian customers.

Talking about the Galaxy S25 series pricing, the base Galaxy S25 model starts from 73,999 INR for the new 128GB variant. On the other hand, the Galaxy S25+ is on sale for 99,999 INR for the 256GB configuration. Similarly, the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s 256GB version is listed for 129,999 INR.

These models are now getting shipped to the customers who pre-ordered ahead of the official sale date, which is on Friday. Samsung is bringing the latest flagship smartphones to early bird customers before 7th February 2025.

To recall, the Galaxy S25 starts from 80,999 INR for the 12GB + 256GB variant, while the Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra have a starting price of 99,999 INR and 129,999 INR respectively. Customers who pre-ordered the Galaxy S25 Ultra also get a benefit worth 21,000 INR. Out of this, the storage upgrade alone is worth 12,000 INR since the 512GB variant is priced the same as the 256GB option. The rest is a 9,000 INR upgrade bonus.

Similarly, those who pre-ordered the Galaxy S25+ get benefits worth 12,000 INR and the Galaxy S25’s early buyers get access to 11,000 INR in benefits. Both of these are similar storage upgrades to 512GB for the same price as the 256GB storage configuration.

But it appears that this might finally roll out on the Galaxy S25 series.

The leaked files confirms the presence of a new sensor in the Galaxy S25 Ultra model. Although Samsung has yet to activate this feature. So while the sensor code exists, there is still no concrete information about this feature being live or accessible even in Samsung smartphones that are already in the market. Looking at the leaked files, we can see that the function works via a “composite” sensor, which takes data from multiple physical sensors to help detect a car crash.

But leaving that new model aside, the lineup as a whole is still lagging behind in the charging department. Samsung is gearing up to introduce the Galaxy S25 series. The company has uploaded the Galaxy S25 series’ first One UI 7 test to the Samsung OTA server. Gizmochina has spotted that Samsung has started One UI 7 tests of the Galaxy S25 series. The smartphones will launch with the Android 15-based One UI 7 interface. Considering that the S25 series will be introduced in January 2025, it’s quite normal that preparations are already underway. Samsung wants to launch its devices without any problems. Since the Galaxy Note 7 disaster, South Korean brand have increased security measures and regularly tested their devices.

Galaxy S25 series’ first One UI 7 tests on Samsung OTA server

The Galaxy S25 series was previously spotted in the IMEI database. This series consists of 3 different smartphones respectively: Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra.
