<p>According to <a href="https://www.galaxyclub.nl/nieuws/deze-samsung-telefoons-en-tablets-krijgen-vanaf-nu-geen-updates-meer/"><em>GalaxyClub </em></a>(via <a href="https://www.sammobile.com/news/some-galaxy-devices-are-saying-goodbye-to-future-updates/"><em>SamMobile</em></a>), Samsung has ended software support for the following devices.</p>

<ul><li><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/02/28/samsung-galaxy-a50-a30-and-a10-unveiled-in-india-specifications-features-and-price/">Galaxy A10</a></li><li><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-a20/">Galaxy A20</a></li><li><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-a40/">Galaxy A40</a></li><li><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-tab-s5e-wi-fi-tablet/">Galaxy Tab S5e</a></li><li><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-tab-a-10-1-2019-lte/">Galaxy Tab A 10.1</a></li><li>Galaxy Tab A with S Pen</li></ul>

<h3><strong>These products will work just fine without software support</strong></h3>

<p>All of these handsets and tablets were released in or before April 2019. The Galaxy A10 and Galaxy A40 are on March 2023 security patch. Whereas, the Galaxy A20 is stuck with the December 2023 update.</p>

<p>These products will continue to work despite their software support has been suspended. They currently boot <a href="https://gizmochina.com/tag/Android-11/">Android 11</a>, which can run almost all the apps available on the Google Play Store.</p>

<p>Perhaps, the only issues you could face on these devices are performance and battery-related. Though the latter can be fixed with a replacement, the former cannot.</p>

<p>Further, none of them have 5G connectivity. So that could be one more reason to upgrade to a newer phone if you have coverage for the latest-gen mobile networks in your city.</p>

<p>Having said that, a lot more <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Samsung/">Samsung</a> Galaxy-branded handsets and tablet will see their software support end in the coming months.</p>
