Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy Tab A11 in India. It’s a no-nonsense tablet from the brand that succeeds the two-year-old Galaxy Tab A9. However, not much has changed on the surface. The tablet has the same design, build, and internals as its predecessor. 

One of the few hardware changes is that the 8.7-inch screen now refreshes at 90Hz. It’s still an HD+ (1340 x 800 pixels) LCD panel. Samsung has also upgraded the front camera from 2MP to 5MP. Beyond that, the A11 sticks closely to what came before it.

Galaxy Tab A11 feels like a repack

The rear has an 8MP camera with autofocus, which supports Full HD video recording at 30fps. Powering the device is MediaTek’s Helio G99 chip, the same processor found in its predecessor, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. 

There is an option for a microSD slot to extend storage up to 2TB. Software-wise, the Galaxy Tab A11 runs One UI 7.0 based on Android 15, and Samsung is promising an unusually generous seven years of OS updates and security patches. That means this tablet could be supported all the way up to Android 22.

The tablet houses a 5,100mAh battery with 15W charging. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, USB-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack, while the LTE model adds 4G support and GNSS positioning.

As for the pricing, it starts at ₹12,999 for the 4GB + 64GB Wi-Fi version and goes up to ₹20,999 for the 8GB + 128GB LTE variant. Here’s the complete pricing breakdown in India:

Samsung may have just spoiled two of its own upcoming tablets. An accidental listing has just revealed some key details of two new budget tablet models. The Galaxy Tab A11 and Galaxy Tab A11+ were spotted in an official listing, so here’s everything you need to know.

Samsung’s Next Budget Tablets Just Got Leaked

The two tablets were spotted by Roland Quandt on the official Samsung UAE website. To recall, both the Galaxy Tab A11 and Galaxy Tab A11+ were previously spotted on GeekBench. The standard Galaxy Tab A11’s LTE version even surfaced on the Bluetooth SIG certification. But the latest sighting was directly from Samsung. The Galaxy Tab A11 sports an 8.7-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, it is equipped with the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, which is paired with 4GB of RAM and either 64GB or 128GB of storage. A sizeable 5,100mAh battery pack powers this model, which measures 8mm in thickness and weighs 335 grams. Samsung’s Galaxy Tab A11+ was also listed on the website, but finer details are still at large. However, the GeekBench listing claims that it packs MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 or 7300X chipset.

We did see real life images of the Galaxy Tab A11 last month, and now, the official listing showcases both tablets. The rear appears to have a single camera, while the display on the front is surrounded by noticeable bezels. Similar to the base variant, there is a WiFi only model. Although, the Dimensity 7300 is a higher end chip, so we can expect 5G connectivity as well.

Samsung’s budget tablet line is about to get an update. Leaks have started pointing to the Galaxy Tab A11 and Tab A11 Plus, two models that will replace the Tab A9 series released in late 2023.

A Geekbench listing has already given away some of the hardware. The Galaxy Tab A11 Plus (model SM-X236B) is shown running MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 or 7300X chipset. That’s the same processor found in phones like the Motorola Razr 50 and Poco X7, and it’s paired with 6 GB of RAM. The benchmark also confirms Android 16 with Samsung’s One UI 8 on top.

On the other hand, the regular Tab A11 (model SM-X135) looks set to stay firmly in the entry-level camp. One leak shows 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, along with a simple, no-frills design. Images posted on X give the impression that Samsung isn’t trying anything flashy here, which makes sense given the budget positioning.

The A11 Plus should offer more performance headroom, but both tablets are expected to share the same basic look. While there’s no word on pricing yet, the current Tab A9 starts at around $209, so the new series should land in a similar range.

There’s no official launch date either, but speculation suggests a release before the end of 2025. With the budget tablet space heating up thanks to TCL and Xiaomi, Samsung’s refresh could help it hold onto users who want reliability and decent specs without spending too much.

Samsung looks set to refresh its budget tablet lineup with the upcoming Galaxy Tab A11 LTE. The device has now appeared on the Bluetooth SIG database, another indication that its official launch isn’t far away.

According to a report by The Tech Outlook on August 23, the Galaxy Tab A11 LTE (model number SM-X135G) has cleared Bluetooth SIG certification. This follows earlier appearances on Safety Korea, FCC, Wi-Fi Alliance, Nemko, and IMEI listings — all signs that the tablet is nearly ready to hit the market, possibly in September.

While the Bluetooth filing doesn’t add much in terms of specifications, earlier certifications have confirmed a 5,000mAh battery with 15W charging support. The tablet is also expected to include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and hotspot connectivity. A Safety Korea listing also revealed a front image, showing slim bezels that fit Samsung’s simple, budget-friendly design. The tablet measures 210.9mm x 124.7mm with a 238mm diagonal, pointing to an 8.7-inch TFT LCD similar to the Galaxy Tab A9.

The A11 series is expected to include a standard model as well as a Tab A11 Plus, which may offer a larger screen or performance upgrades. It’s still unclear what chipset will power the Tab A11. For context, the Tab A9 and A9+ from 2023 used the MediaTek Helio G99 (4G) and Snapdragon 695 (5G), respectively. Given that the Tab A11 still lacks 5G, it could be powered by the same Helio G99 as its predecessor from 2023. Samsung could unveil the tablet at its IFA 2025 event on September 5.

Key features could include an IP54 rating, stereo speakers, and support for up to 1TB of expandable storage. With these additions, the Galaxy Tab A11 LTE looks positioned as a practical, affordable option for streaming, browsing, and light productivity.

The image confirms what we’ve come to expect from Samsung’s entry-level Galaxy Tab A series: a simple, no-fuss design built for basic everyday use.

Up front, the tablet sports slim bezels with a front-facing camera tucked neatly along the top edge, perfect for video calls in landscape mode. Flip it over, and you’ll see a single rear camera paired with an LED flash, sitting in the corner of an otherwise clean back panel. It’s minimalist, and that’s the point.

The model number for this device is SM-X135N, but beyond that, the certification doesn’t reveal much about what’s inside. Samsung hasn’t confirmed any specs yet, but earlier rumors suggest it could feature a 5,000mAh battery and a price under $150. 

Galaxy Tab A11 could launch next month

The tablet is set to succeed the Galaxy Tab A9 from 2023, which comes with an 8.7-inch TFT LCD screen, a MediaTek Helio G99 chip, up to 8GB of RAM, and Android 13 out of the box (with an upgrade path to Android 15).

While it’s unclear how much will change under the hood, we can expect Samsung to stick with the same no-nonsense approach. It could feature stereo speakers, microSD expansion, and a USB-C port. For many, that’s more than enough for streaming, web browsing, and light work.

Adding fuel to the launch speculation, tipster Abishek Yadav claims that the Galaxy Tab A11, along with a beefier Tab A11+, could debut in India as soon as next month. If true, a global launch might follow shortly after.

New Galaxy Tab A11 Budget Tablet in the Works

The South Korean tech giant’s upcoming Galaxy Tab A11 was just spotted on FCC and IMEI, carrying the SM-X135G model number for the LTE version. On the FCC database, the Galaxy Tab A11 surfaced with support for dual band WiFi and was being tested with HQ-3565S and HQ-6739SDS Li-ion batteries and EP-T1510 adapter.

This confirms the Galaxy Tab A11’s 4,980mAh battery capacity, which will likely have a typical rating of around 5,100mAh. Meanwhile, the adapter brings support for 15W wired fast charging. To recall, Samsung announced its predecessor, the Galaxy Tab A9, with identical specs. So we might not be getting any substantial upgrade with the Tab A11.

Unfortunately, the IMEI certification does not reveal any details regarding the specs and features of this budget tablet. But taking a look at the Galaxy Tab A9, we can make a few speculations. Samsung released the Galaxy Tab A9 with an 8.7-inch LCD panel with a 60Hz refresh rate and HD+ resolution. It is equipped with the Helio G99 SoC, runs on Android 15, Bluetooth 5.3, and more. Meaning, there could be minor improvements in the next gen model.
