Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S24 FE and Galaxy Tab S10 series soon. But while these products are highly anticipated, the company hasn’t revealed an official launch date, until now. The company appears to have finally confirmed the launch date for its upcoming budget flagship phone and premium tablets. So let’s have a look.

Samsung Galaxy S24 FE and Galaxy Tab S10 launching next week?

Samsung Vietnam recent shared a video teaser on its official YouTube channel that referred to the Galaxy Unpacked event in September 2024. In this video, a smartphone with a triple camera setup on the rear, metal frame, and rounded corners can be seen. The teaser confirms that it will feature Galaxy Ai, so it is likely the Galaxy S24 FE. Pre-registrations for this model are already live in Vietnam.

At the end of the video, we can see this smartphone alongside the date 26th September 2024. Samsung is rumored to launch the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra with the Galaxy S24 FE. So the new phone and tablets likely have a global launch date for next week. It is worth noting that this date is also in line with some of our previous reports as well.

The South Korean tech giant had started taking pre reservations for the Galaxy Tab S10 in India as well. In other words, the tablets should start shipping out to early buyers next week as well. As of right now, this is all the information we have about this matter. But this does imply that the global roll out in several other countries during the same period. So stick around for more as we will be providing more updates and covering the launch event next week.

Looks like Samsung’s plans for the upcoming Galaxy Tab S10 series will be a little different.  Samsung does not plan to launch a regular Tab S10 model in the Galaxy Tab S10 series. Gizmochina has revealed details about Samsung’s new Tab S10 series devices. As a result, the presence of the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra is clearly visible. At the same time, the conspicuous disappearance of the regular Tab S10 model suggests that there have been some changes. This indicates that Samsung has given up on the regular Tab S10.

The Galaxy Tab S10 series will include two models: Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra.

For a long time, there were rumors that the Tab S10 series would not be the regular Tab S10. Our IMEI Database has long contained 2 different Galaxy Tab S10 series models. These are the Galaxy Tab S10 Plus and Tab S10 Ultra models. Although nearly 6 months have passed, the regular Galaxy Tab S10 has still not been added to the database. This is an official confirmation that the Galaxy Tab S10 will not be introduced.

According to our IMEI Database, we are absolutely sure that the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra exist. The Galaxy Tab S10+ has 3 different model numbers. These are devices prepared according to regulations in different regions: SM-X826B, SM-X826N, SM-X828U. Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra also comes with 3 different model numbers: SM-X926B, SM-X926C and SM-X926N. We obtained these model numbers from our IMEI Database, so keep in mind that these are LTE model numbers with SIM card support.

SM-X820 and SM-X920 model numbers refer to the Wi-Fi version of the devices. There is no SIM card support in these models. We found the specified model numbers by checking the Samsung OTA server. However, neither the Samsung OTA server nor our IMEI Database has any information for the regular Galaxy Tab S10. Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra received more than 7 One UI tests. Despite this, the regular Tab S10 did not receive even 1 test. We can attribute all these coincidences to the fact that this model will not be released for sure.

Why Samsung Won’t Release the Galaxy Tab S10

Samsung launched the Ultra series for the first time in its tablet history in the Tab S8 series. They continued this tradition in the Tab S9 series. Maybe the fact that the regular model of these tablets was not popular may be the reason for not releasing the regular Tab S10. Apart from that, Apple’s release of two models like the iPad Pro may have also influenced Samsung in this decision. There is almost no difference between the regular model and the Plus model other than the screen size. That’s why they may find it unnecessary to have an extra model.

Expected Features and Launch Date

According to the processor performance results revealed via Geekbench, Galaxy Tab S10 + and Tab S10 Ultra models will be powered by the Dimensity 9300 processor. When we look at the Geekbench scores; Tab S10 Ultra scored 2070 points in single-core and 6927 points in multi-core. Tab S10 Plus received 2163 points in single-core and 7186 points in multi-core. Since the processors are the same, it is normal for these scores to be close to each other.

In terms of storage and RAM, the devices will be equipped in the same way as the Tab S9 series. Tab S10 Ultra is expected to come with 12GB/16GB RAM and 512GB/1TB Storage options. Tab S10 Plus will come with 12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB Storage options. These devices are expected to have almost the same design as the Tab S9 series.

Unfortunately, there is no official information about the launch date. However, according to some leaks, the new Tab S10 series is expected to be introduced in a few months.
