Samsung is gearing up to launch its next-generation tablets, the Galaxy Tab S10 and S10 FE+, and a fresh leak has provided a detailed look at what to expect. Shared by tipster Arsene Lupin on X, the leak outlines key specifications, AI-driven features, and European pricing of the upcoming devices.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 and S10 FE+ Specifications

The Galaxy Tab S10 FE features a 10.9-inch WUXGA+ LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate, while the S10 FE+ steps up to a larger 13.1-inch WQXGA+ LCD. Both tablets retain a sturdy aluminum build and come with IP68 certification for water and dust resistance.

Under the hood, Samsung is using its in-house Exynos 1580 chipset, a 4nm octa-core processor on both models. While this isn’t a flagship-tier SoC, it should be capable enough for everyday tasks, multimedia consumption, and light productivity work.

Moreover, Samsung has equipped the standard Tab S10 FE with an 8,000mAh battery, while the S10 FE+ gets a larger 10,090mAh cell. Both support 45W fast charging, though it’s unlikely you will get a charger in the box.

As for the cameras, the rear sports a 13MP lens with autofocus and an LED flash. Up front, there’s a 12MP ultrawide shooter with a 120-degree field of view.

The company is also doubling down on AI integration with the Galaxy Tab S10 FE and S10 FE+. The leak mentions several new AI-powered tools aimed at boosting productivity and creativity. One of them is Google’s Circle to Search. And of course, both tablets will support the S Pen out of the box.

Pricing and Availability

According to the leak, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE will start at €579 for the base 8GB/128GB Wi-Fi model. The 12GB/256GB Wi-Fi variant bumps the price to €679, while the 8GB/128GB 5G version also comes in at €679. Opting for the top-tier 12GB/256GB 5G model will set you back €779.

Meanwhile, the higher-end Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ starts at €749 for the 8GB/128GB Wi-Fi model, with the 12GB/256GB Wi-Fi version priced at €849. If you want 5G, expect to pay €849 for 8GB/128GB and €949 for 12GB/256GB.

Looks like Samsung’s plans for the upcoming Galaxy Tab S10 series will be a little different. Samsung does not plan to launch a regular Tab S10 model in the Galaxy Tab S10 series. Gizmochina has revealed details about Samsung’s new Tab S10 series devices. As a result, the presence of the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra is clearly visible. At the same time, the conspicuous disappearance of the regular Tab S10 model suggests that there have been some changes. This indicates that Samsung has given up on the regular Tab S10.

The Galaxy Tab S10 series will include two models: Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra.

For a long time, there were rumors that the Tab S10 series would not be the regular Tab S10. Our IMEI Database has long contained 2 different Galaxy Tab S10 series models. These are the Galaxy Tab S10 Plus and Tab S10 Ultra models. Although nearly 6 months have passed, the regular Galaxy Tab S10 has still not been added to the database. This is an official confirmation that the Galaxy Tab S10 will not be introduced.

According to our IMEI Database, we are absolutely sure that the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra exist. The Galaxy Tab S10+ has 3 different model numbers. These are devices prepared according to regulations in different regions: SM-X826B, SM-X826N, SM-X828U. Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra also comes with 3 different model numbers: SM-X926B, SM-X926C and SM-X926N. We obtained these model numbers from our IMEI Database, so keep in mind that these are LTE model numbers with SIM card support.

SM-X820 and SM-X920 model numbers refer to the Wi-Fi version of the devices. There is no SIM card support in these models. We found the specified model numbers by checking the Samsung OTA server. However, neither the Samsung OTA server nor our IMEI Database has any information for the regular Galaxy Tab S10. Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra received more than 7 One UI tests. Despite this, the regular Tab S10 did not receive even 1 test. We can attribute all these coincidences to the fact that this model will not be released for sure.

Why Samsung Won’t Release the Galaxy Tab S10

Samsung launched the Ultra series for the first time in its tablet history in the Tab S8 series. They continued this tradition in the Tab S9 series. Maybe the fact that the regular model of these tablets was not popular may be the reason for not releasing the regular Tab S10. Apart from that, Apple’s release of two models like the iPad Pro may have also influenced Samsung in this decision. There is almost no difference between the regular model and the Plus model other than the screen size. That’s why they may find it unnecessary to have an extra model.

Expected Features and Launch Date

According to the processor performance results revealed via Geekbench, Galaxy Tab S10 + and Tab S10 Ultra models will be powered by the Dimensity 9300 processor. When we look at the Geekbench scores; Tab S10 Ultra scored 2070 points in single-core and 6927 points in multi-core. Tab S10 Plus received 2163 points in single-core and 7186 points in multi-core. Since the processors are the same, it is normal for these scores to be close to each other.

In terms of storage and RAM, the devices will be equipped in the same way as the Tab S9 series. Tab S10 Ultra is expected to come with 12GB/16GB RAM and 512GB/1TB Storage options. Tab S10 Plus will come with 12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB Storage options. These devices are expected to have almost the same design as the Tab S9 series.

Unfortunately, there is no official information about the launch date. However, according to some leaks, the new Tab S10 series is expected to be introduced in a few months.

Samsung typically follows a predictable release schedule every year. Its flagship Galaxy S series launches in the first quarter, followed by a second Unpacked event in the third quarter to unveil the latest foldable models.

We’ve seen a similar launch pattern in 2024 so far. But a new leak suggests Samsung might break the tradition with a possible third event later this year.

Tipster Ice Universe, known for accurate tech leaks, hinted on Weibo about a possible October press conference for Samsung. According to the insider, the event will focus on the launch of the Galaxy Tab S10 series (including the Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra) and the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim or the China-exclusive Galaxy W25.

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim has been a topic of discussion for some time. As implied by the name, it’s expected to feature a thinner design than the standard Z Fold 6, making it more pocket-friendly.

But to achieve a slimmer form factor, Samsung may need to forgo S-pen compatibility, according to reports. The foldable will likely retain the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor from the new Galaxy Z Fold 6.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim is rumored to launch in only a few markets. Ice Universe’s leak suggests it will be released in Korea, while the Chinese market will see it as the Galaxy W25.

The most concrete possibility might be the long-awaited Galaxy Tab S10 series. Rumors about these flagship tablets have been circulating for months now.

The series is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor, moving away from Qualcomm’s flagship chip that the company has used for previous Galaxy Tab S series tablets.

It’s important to remain cautious as these are just speculations based on a single leak. Samsung has yet to confirm any details about an October event. However, Ice Universe’s track record lends credibility to this possibility. We’ll keep a close eye on further developments and update this story as more information becomes available.

Just a few days ago, rumors hinted that some Galaxy Tab S10 models might feature MediaTek processors. Now, it appears that Samsung is taking a more decisive step, equipping all upcoming high-end tablets in the Tab S10 line with MediaTek 9300+ chips.

This news comes courtesy of reliable leakster Ice Universe, who claims all Galaxy Tab S10 variants will ditch Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processors. Initially, there was a rumor that a single model in the Tab S10 line may use the MediaTek Dimensity chip, but this is a complete strategy shift for Samsung. The launch of these tablets is reportedly set for October 2024.

It has been confirmed that the Galaxy Tab S10 series will all use the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chip.
— ICE UNIVERSE (@UniverseIce) July 18, 2024

The decision, if pans out, is likely driven by various factors. One major reason could be the rising cost of Qualcomm’s high-end processors in recent years. Switching to MediaTek could be a strategic cost-saving measure for Samsung that will allow them to set more competitive pricing for the Tab S10 series.

The US variant of the Galaxy Tab S10+ was also spotted in Geekbench’s database with the said Dimensity 9300+ processor. It’s MediaTek’s current flagship offering, built on a 4nm process, and boasts eight high-performance CPU cores alongside a powerful GPU.

Here are the technical specifications of the Dimensity 9300+:

A Tech blogger, Max Jambor has revealed on Twitter that the highly anticipated Galaxy Tab S10 series will launch in October.

In a previous article, Max Jambor claimed that Galaxy Tab S10 series might debut in October, and he didn’t expect it to be part of Samsung’s Unpacked July event. This prediction was actually accurate as the July event brought the Watch 7, Watch Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Buds 3 series, and more but made no mention of the Tab S10.

However, the company’s market share is significantly lower as compared to Apple‘s in the region. The decision to position the Galaxy Tab S10 Plus as the base model may aim to provide more capable devices and effectively compete with Apple’s latest offerings, while not focusing primarily on pricing.

The news comes from the Korean platform Naver. The source also claims that the Galaxy Tab S10 series is going to be a direct competitor of the Apple iPad, which was recently released with an OLED display. The report also notes that the new flagship tablets from Samsung could be released “as early as the second half of this year”.

Samsung is expected to begin the mass production of the Galaxy Tab S10 Plus and Ultra starting this month.

The company has been releasing three models starting with the Galaxy Tab S8 series, which was introduced in 2022. The Tab S7 series mainly comes in two different models – the Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7 Plus. The base, plus, and ultra models of last year’s Tab S9 series come in three different sizes – 11″, 12.4″, and 14.6″. It is said that Samsung may opt for even larger sizes with the Tab S10 series.

Last May, Apple released the 11-inch and 13-inch models of the iPad Pro with OLED displays. It was the first time that an iPad had been equipped with OLED. In contrast, Samsung has been using OLED panels in its high-end tablets since 2014. The report claims that Samsung might choose a 12+” AMOLED panel for the Plus model to compete with the latest 11″ and 13″ iPad Pro models.

Samsung is set to unveil Galaxy Tab S10 series soon! While the exact launch date is currently unknown, we expect Tab S10 series to be introduced in 2025. Earlier rumors suggested that the Galaxy Tab S10 Plus will feature MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset. Now, the Tab S10 series has appeared on Samsung’s OTA server, revealing that One UI testing has already begun.

Android Headlines team spotted Galaxy Tab S10 Plus and Tab S10 Ultra on Samsung’s OTA server. Galaxy Tab S10 Plus has the model number of SM-X828x, while Tab S10 Ultra is appeared as SM-X926x. The “x” in the model number represents the region code.

Galaxy Tab S10 Plus appeared on Samsung’s OTA server with the build number (X828USQUAXF5/X828UOYNOAXF5/X828USQUOAXF5). The Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra made its first appearance with the build number (X926BXXUOAXE6/X926BOXMOAXE6/X926BXXUOAXE6). These build numbers actually confirm the devices’ model numbers as SM-X926B and SM-X828U. Note that the “U” is for the US variant, while the “B” indicates that the model will be available globally.

Tab S10 Ultra: Chinese and Korean variants

They also managed to find Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra’s SM-X926C and SM-X926N model numbers, which confirms the device’s availability in China and Korea. Notably, there is no One UI build for the regular Galaxy Tab S10 yet. This is likely because the Tab S10 series is slated for a 2025 release. We anticipate that Galaxy Tab S10 series will debut alongside the Galaxy S25 series in Q1 2025.

Samsung will soon introduce new models in its popular Galaxy Tab series. New details about Galaxy Tab S10 Plus and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra have surfaced online.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Plus & Tab S10 Ultra

The Android Headlines team has found that Samsung is developing Galaxy Tab S10 Plus and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra. The Galaxy Tab S10 Plus includes three model numbers: SM-X828U, SM-X826B, and SM-X826N. Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra carries the model number SM-X926B.

Galaxy Tab S10 Plus

The model number Galaxy Tab S10 doesn’t appear yet, and this could be because of Samsung may not have started working on it. The model numbers show where the devices will be available. Galaxy Tab S10 Plus will launch in Global, US, and Korean markets. Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra appears with Global model number only. However, it should be also available in Korea and the US. The absence of a Galaxy Tab S10 model number and the single model number for the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra suggest that Samsung might not release these tablets soon actually. Android Headlines team managed to spot Tab S10 Plus and Tab S10 Ultra’s model numbers only.

Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra

The Android Headlines team also speculates on the release date for the Tab S10 series. They predict Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Tab S10 series in Q1 2025. This estimate follows Samsung’s pattern of releasing new Galaxy Tab S series models every 1.5 years. The Galaxy Tab S7 series launched in August 2020, followed by the Galaxy Tab S8 series 1.5 years later, and then the Galaxy Tab S9 series another 1.5 years after that. If this pattern holds, the Tab S10 series could arrive in January or February 2024.

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Tab S10 series devices have been surfacing on certifications here and there. Now, rumors about these devices are starting to surface online.

According to a new rumor from Naver leaker yeux1122, Samsung is considering a dual-AP approach for the Galaxy Tab S10 series. Historically, Samsung’s flagship tablets and foldable phones have relied on Snapdragon system-on-chips (SoCs).

Although details are still scarce regarding which models will feature the Exynos variant or Snapdragon variant, if Samsung follows a strategy similar to the Galaxy S24 series, the base Galaxy Tab S10, and Tab S10+ are likely to come with Samsung’s own Exynos 2400 processor.

The top-of-the-line Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra might come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy.

Samsung might also bring the practice of regionally differing chipsets like in smartphones for its upcoming tablets. If that pans out, all the devices in the Galaxy Tab S10 series will feature Snapdragon chips in markets like the US, China, and Japan.

The shift to Exynos chips for select tablet models could be a significant cost-saving measure for Samsung. Reports indicate the company spent a staggering $8.87 billion on mobile processors last year. So taking into use its in-house Exynos division makes good business sense.

Moreover, the larger size of tablets allows for better thermal management, which could help address any performance issues traditionally associated with Exynos chips.

A regulatory filing recently suggested that Samsung might launch the Galaxy Tab S10 series tablets in July alongside other devices like the Galaxy Z Fold6, Galaxy Z Flip6, Galaxy Watch7 series, and Galaxy Ring.
