The premium Android tablet market is becoming more competitive, with OnePlus and Samsung targeting different types of power users. The OnePlus Pad 4 focuses on flagship performance, a large high-refresh-rate display, and exceptional battery capacity at a much lower price. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra aims to deliver the ultimate premium tablet experience with an AMOLED screen, IP68 protection, DeX support, and a more versatile ecosystem. Here’s how they compare.

Design and Display

Build Quality

Both tablets feature premium aluminum frames and aluminum backs, giving them a flagship feel. The OnePlus Pad 4 is slightly thicker at 5.9mm but remains impressively slim for a tablet with a massive battery. At 672g, it is also a little lighter than Samsung’s offering.

The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra takes premium design a step further with IP68 dust and water resistance, Enhanced Armor Aluminum construction, and optional cellular connectivity through Nano-SIM and eSIM support. These additions make it feel more versatile for users who frequently work outside the home.

Display & Multimedia

The OnePlus Pad 4 offers a sharp 13.2-inch LCD panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision support, and up to 1000 nits brightness. It delivers smooth animations and excellent clarity.

Samsung counters with a larger 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display featuring HDR10+, deeper blacks, richer colors, and a higher peak brightness of 1600 nits. While it refreshes at 120Hz instead of 144Hz, the AMOLED technology creates a noticeably more premium viewing experience for movies and content consumption.

Verdict

Samsung wins this round thanks to its larger AMOLED display, HDR10+ support, IP68 durability, and cellular connectivity. However, the OnePlus Pad 4 remains extremely attractive for users who prioritize smoothness and value.

Performance and Software

Processor & UI Smoothness

Performance is one of the biggest strengths of the OnePlus Pad 4. Its Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset is among the most powerful mobile processors available, paired with fast UFS 4.1 storage. Combined with the 144Hz panel, everyday navigation feels exceptionally fluid.

The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra uses the flagship Dimensity 9400+ processor, which also delivers excellent performance for gaming, editing, and multitasking. Real-world differences between the two chips are likely to be small for most users.

Productivity & Multitasking

Samsung’s software advantage remains difficult to ignore. One UI 8.5 includes Wireless DeX, transforming the tablet into a desktop-like workstation. The microSD card slot adds flexibility for creators handling large files, while Samsung’s ecosystem integration remains among the best in Android.

The OnePlus Pad 4 delivers a clean OxygenOS experience with strong multitasking features, but it lacks a direct competitor to DeX. Performance enthusiasts may prefer the raw power, yet productivity-focused buyers may appreciate Samsung’s broader feature set.

Verdict

The OnePlus Pad 4 takes the performance crown thanks to its cutting-edge Snapdragon chipset. However, Samsung wins productivity and professional multitasking, making this section nearly a tie depending on usage priorities.

Battery and Accessories

Battery Life

Battery capacity heavily favors the OnePlus Pad 4. Its enormous 13,380mAh battery is one of the largest in the premium tablet segment and should comfortably deliver extended screen time for gaming, streaming, and work sessions.

The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra still offers a respectable 11,600mAh battery, but the larger AMOLED display can consume more power during intensive use. Battery endurance should remain strong, though likely not at the same level as the OnePlus.

Charging speeds further widen the gap. OnePlus includes 80W wired charging, dramatically reducing downtime. Samsung continues with 45W charging, which is adequate but slower.

Stylus, Keyboard & Ecosystem

Both tablets support stylus input, making them useful for note-taking and creative tasks. Samsung benefits from a mature ecosystem that includes DeX, stronger accessory support, and better integration with other Samsung devices.

OnePlus continues improving its ecosystem, but it still trails Samsung in accessory variety and productivity-focused software tools.

Verdict

OnePlus clearly wins battery life and charging speed, while Samsung holds the advantage in ecosystem integration and productivity accessories. For most users, battery performance gives OnePlus the overall edge in this category.

Camera & Media

Rear and Front Camera

Tablet cameras are rarely a primary buying factor, but Samsung provides a more versatile setup. The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra features a 13MP main camera alongside an 8MP ultrawide lens, offering additional flexibility for scanning documents or capturing wider scenes.

The OnePlus Pad 4 uses a single 13MP rear camera, which is sufficient for occasional photography and document scanning but lacks the versatility of Samsung’s dual-camera arrangement.

On the front, Samsung again leads with a 12MP ultrawide camera capable of fitting more participants into video calls. The OnePlus includes an 8MP selfie camera that performs adequately but is less impressive for conferencing.

Video & Audio Quality

Both tablets support 4K video recording. Audio is where the competition becomes more interesting. Samsung includes four stereo speakers tuned for premium media consumption, while OnePlus packs an impressive eight-speaker setup that can produce greater volume and immersion.

Verdict

Samsung delivers stronger cameras and a superior front-facing video call experience. However, OnePlus counters with a more immersive speaker system. Overall, Samsung secures a narrow victory for media versatility.

Pricing

The pricing difference between these tablets is substantial.

OnePlus Pad 4: Approximately $700 / ₹60,000

Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra: Approximately $1,200 / ₹111,000

Samsung offers several premium features that justify part of the price increase, including AMOLED technology, DeX, IP68 certification, expandable storage, and cellular connectivity options. However, the price premium is enormous.

Verdict

The OnePlus Pad 4 is the clear winner for value. It delivers flagship-level performance, a large 144Hz display, a huge battery, and ultra-fast charging for nearly half the price of Samsung’s tablet. Unless Samsung’s unique features are essential, OnePlus offers significantly better value per rupee.

Disclaimer:
Prices are approximate and may vary based on country, region, launch timing, and applicable taxes. Always check whether the listed price is for a China unit or a global/international variant when purchasing.

Conclusion

The OnePlus Pad 4 stands out with its Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, 13,380mAh battery, 80W charging, eight-speaker system, and aggressive pricing.

The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra differentiates itself through its massive AMOLED display, IP68 protection, DeX desktop mode, expandable storage, cellular options, and premium ecosystem integration.

Verdict

OnePlus Pad 4 is the better choice for buyers seeking maximum performance, longer battery life, faster charging, and exceptional value. It delivers nearly flagship-ultra tablet capabilities at a much lower price.

Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra remains the premium productivity and entertainment king for users who want the best display, DeX functionality, expandable storage, and Samsung’s ecosystem advantages.

For most buyers, the OnePlus Pad 4 offers the stronger overall value proposition. For professionals and Samsung ecosystem users, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra justifies its premium positioning.

Actual performance, camera results, battery life, and overall experience may vary depending on real-world usage, software updates, and individual preferences.

Apple iPad Pro 13 (2025)

Apple continues to set the bar high with the iPad Pro lineup, and the 13-inch version remains one of the most capable tablets you can buy.
OnePlus Pad 3

OnePlus carved out a space for itself in 2025 with the Pad 3, which adopts a flagship-level Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and a large 13.2-inch LCD with 144Hz refresh rate.
Samsung has officially unveiled its Galaxy Tab S11 lineup, bringing two premium tablets that pack high end hardware, super slim design, and tall, vibrant displays. From the latest MediaTek flagship chipset to Galaxy AI functionality, the Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra are the best tablets from the brand.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra

The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra arrives as Samsung’s latest and greatest tablet. You’re getting flagship level specs and features, all of which are packed in a super slim and premium 5.1mm body (weighs around 695 grams). This makes it even thinner than Apple iPad. On the front, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra sports a huge 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 2960 x 1848 resolution, 1600 nits of peak brightness, 5.2mm bezels, and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, it is equipped with MediaTek’s most powerful chipset, the Dimensity 9400+. The high end processor is coupled with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. Users can even expand the storage by up to 2TB via a microSD card slot. A massive 11,600mAh battery pack powers this model, which supports 45W wired fast charging. The Dimensity 9400+ has a faster NPU that powers Galaxy AI and various AI powered tools.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra

This includes Drawing Assist and Writing Assist for productivity tasks along with other popular features like Circle to Search. One can even use this model as a PC thanks to Samsung DeX. Samsung offers a dual camera setup on the rear with a 13MP main and an 8MP ultra wide angle lens. Meanwhile, the front houses a 12MP shooter for selfies and video calls. Other notable features include WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and both 5G and WiFi only variants.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S11

The base Galaxy Tab S11 is similar to the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra in more ways than one. You’re getting the same Android 16 OS based One UI 8 custom skin with all of the new AI tools. It is also powered by the Dimensity 9400+ chip. However, the standard model gets a shorter 11-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with a 2560 x 1600 resolution, 1600 nits of peak brightness, and a 120Hz refresh rate.

The Aluminum Armor frame returns, as well as an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. However, there are a couple of downgrades like a lacking ultra wide camera, a thicker 5.5mm chassis, WiFi 6E, and a smaller 8,400mAh cell. Other similar features include the new S Pen, quad speakers, and a microSD card slot for storage expansion.

Pricing and Availability

Samsung announced both the Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra in two color options, namely Silver and Gray. Both models are available for purchase in select models, with pre-reservations in India going live as well.
Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra has popped up on Geekbench, giving us an early look at performance numbers just days before its official launch.

The Geekbench listing shows the Tab S11 Ultra running on MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ chip, which packs a Cortex-X925 prime core clocked at 3.73GHz. In Geekbench 6.4.0, it managed around 2,500 points in single-core and 8,700 in multi-core — comfortably ahead of the Tab S10 Ultra’s Dimensity 9300+ scores (2,200/7,500).

It doesn’t quite catch the Snapdragon 8 Elite in the Galaxy S25 Ultra (3,148/10,236), but the jump year-on-year is clear. The Device Info HW app also confirmed it’s the Plus version of the chip, clearing up earlier speculation.

3.73GHz clock speed of the prime core confirms it’s the Dimensity 9400+ and not Dimensity 9400

What’s interesting is the comparison to the regular Tab S11. That model (SM-X736B) appeared on Geekbench about six weeks ago with the same processor but posted much lower results — roughly 1,420 single-core and 5,312 multi-core. The difference could be down to heat dissipation, or maybe Samsung has tweaked power management in the weeks since. Either way, buyers looking at the base Tab S11 shouldn’t assume identical results just because the chips match.

On the hardware side, the Ultra is tipped to come with a 14.6-inch OLED panel, slimmer bezels, and a smaller notch for its 12MP front camera. It’s also said to be thinner and lighter than the S10 Ultra (around 5.1–5.5mm, 692g) while housing an 11,600mAh battery with 45W charging.

Pricing is expected to start at $1,200 for the 12GB/256GB Wi-Fi model, topping out at $1,700 for the 16GB/1TB version. Samsung will make it all official on September 4, alongside the Tab S11 and Galaxy S25 FE at IFA.

According to two Polish online retailers, the Galaxy Tab S11 will start at PLN 4,099 (€960) for the Wi-Fi-only model with 256GB storage. A 5G version with 128GB storage is listed at PLN 4,399 (€1,030), with higher-capacity 512GB options available for both. Previous US leaks suggest the base Wi-Fi version could start at around $860. The standard Tab S11 is expected to feature an 11-inch 120Hz AMOLED display (2560×1600), MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset, and an 8,400mAh battery with 45W charging.

The larger Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra comes in at PLN 6,299 (~€1,475) for the Wi-Fi 512GB model, with the 5G 256GB option listed at the same price. In the US, pricing is rumored to start at $1,200 for the 12GB/256GB model and climb up to $1,700 for the top 16GB/1TB version. It features a 14.6-inch AMOLED display (2960×1848) and the same Dimensity 9400+ chip. Both models support microSD expansion, pack a 13MP rear and 12MP front camera, and will ship with Android 16 and One UI 8. Samsung is promising seven years of software support.

The Galaxy Tab S11 series is expected to be announced on September 4 at IFA 2025, alongside the Galaxy S25 FE. With strong specs and AI-focused software, Samsung is clearly positioning the lineup against Apple’s iPad Pro.

Samsung has lined up a new Galaxy event on 4th September 2025, where it is expected to unveil a bunch of new products. The major highlights of this upcoming event include the new Galaxy S25 FE model and Galaxy Tab S11 series. So here’s everything you need to know.

Galaxy S25 FE: Affordable Flagship

Based on what we know so far, the next gen Fan Edition smartphone brings high end features at a budget. Samsung’s Galaxy S25 FE sports a tall 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass Victus+ for protection. Under the hood, it is equipped with the Exynos 2400 SoC, which also powered Samsung’s 2024 flagships, the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+. This processor is paired with 8GB of RAM and at least 128GB of internal storage.

Samsung Galaxy S25 FE

For photography, the rear has a 50MP (Main) + 12MP (Ultra Wide) + 8MP (Telephoto) triple camera setup, while the front may house a 12MP selfie shooter. A 4,900mAh battery pack powers this model with support for 45W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging. Following Samsung’s new design trend, the Galaxy S25 FE is getting a slimmer 7.4mm chassis and four color options, namely navy, icy blue, white, and black.

Galaxy Tab S11 and Tab S11 Ultra: AI-First Productivity

Alongside the more approachable Galaxy S series smartphone, we’re also getting treated to the next top tablets from Samsung, the Galaxy Tab S11 and the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. The South Korean tech giant is apaprently working on powerful new tablets that are reportedly powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC. The standard Galaxy Tab S11 is expected to sport an 11-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, while the more expensive Tab S11 Ultra model could debut with a larger 14.6-inch AMOLED screen.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra

The flagship Tab S11 Ultra is also rumored to bring an ultra slim 5.1mm body, which would have it surpass Apple’s iPads. A massive 11,600mAh battery pack with 45W fast charging could power the more expensive option, with the vanilla option rumored to feature an 8,400mAh battery. Another big upgrade is with AI powered tools with Galaxy AI. Other notable features might include Samsung DeX, IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, along with 5G and WiFi only variants.

Samsung’s next premium tablets are almost here, and new leaks are giving us a better idea of how much the Galaxy Tab S11 series might cost.

Galaxy Tab S11 render

A report from YTECHB points to US pricing for the Wi-Fi models. The regular Tab S11 with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is said to come in at $860. The larger Tab S11 Ultra looks set to start at $1,200 for the same configuration, with higher tiers hitting $1,400 (12GB/512GB) and $1,700 (16GB/1TB). Pricing for the S11’s smaller and larger storage options hasn’t surfaced yet, and cellular versions will likely add a premium.

That puts Samsung’s new tablets right up against Apple’s iPad lineup — the iPad Air starts at $599, while the iPad Pro begins at $999. We’ve already gotten a good look at the Galaxy Tab S11 and Tab S11 Ultra, with leaked renders revealing the full design.

Specs-wise, the Tab S11 is expected to feature an 11-inch AMOLED display at 120Hz, while the Ultra goes all out with a 14.6-inch AMOLED panel. Both are tipped to run on MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400, ship with Android 16 and One UI 8, and support the S Pen. Battery sizes are rumored at 8,400mAh (Tab S11) and 11,600mAh (Ultra), each with 45W fast charging. Both models are expected to be IP68 rated, making them resistant to dust and water.

Samsung rolled out the Galaxy Tab S10 lineup in September last year, so an IFA 2025 reveal for the S11 series looks likely. If these leaks prove accurate, the new tablets could land as strong alternatives to Apple’s iPads — with Samsung banking on bigger screens and longer update support to pull in buyers.

The S11 Ultra keeps its 14.6-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2960 x 1848 pixels, but changes the design by replacing the old boxy notch with a small semicircular cutout. The tablet is about 5mm thick, making it slimmer while still housing a larger 11,600 mAh battery.

WinFuture has released renders of the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, showcasing its updated design. The tablet comes with flat edges, slim bezels, and a clean finish in silver and gray. Samsung has simplified the camera setup by replacing the earlier dual 12MP front sensors with a single front camera. On the back, it includes two cameras, a 12MP and a 13MP, both with ultra-wide support. These changes provide a more polished look while maintaining all key features.

Inside, the Tab S11 Ultra runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 processor. It will be available with up to 16GB of RAM and as much as 1TB of storage. A 5G model will also be offered. The tablet comes with Android 16 and One UI 8, and Samsung has promised seven years of operating system and security updates.

Earlier reports pointed to a Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 120Hz refresh rate and high brightness, a slim 5.1mm body, and 45W fast charging for the 11,600 mAh battery. Other expected features included WiFi 7, IP68 water and dust resistance, SPen support, eSIM, and Galaxy AI tools. The final design confirms the thin build and revised camera layout while aligning with these earlier details.

The standard Galaxy Tab S11 is expected to carry an 11-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display at 120Hz, an 8,400 mAh battery, the Dimensity 9400+, up to 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. It will support WiFi 6E, Galaxy AI, Samsung DeX, and measure around 5.5mm thick, following the same design approach as the Ultra.

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Tab S11 lineup is shaping up to be a compelling blend of performance and design. A fresh leak has revealed more details regarding the next gen premium tablets, with flagship hardware, slim design, and much more. So let’s check it out.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra

The South Korean tech giant just had their key details revealed in a recent tweet from Ahmed Qwaider. This model will sport a tall 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate. We can also expect a high resolution and high brightness. It is rumored to be equipped with MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity 9400+ SoC, which could be paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra

A massive 11,600mAh battery pack is expected to power this device, which may support 45W wired fast charging. All of this is packed in a slim 5.1mm body, which is as thin as Apple’s iPad Pro 13. So Samsung is also catching up with Apple for thin high-end tablets. For photography, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra gets a 13MP + 8MP camera setup on the rear and a 12MP selfie shooter on the front. Other notable features include WiFi 7, IP68 rating, SPen support, eSIM, Galaxy AI, and One UI 8.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S11

Another tweet from the tipster revealed details of the base Galaxy Tab S11 as well. This entry level model sports an 11-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Just like the higher end model, you get the same IP rating, fast charging speeds, Dimensity 9400+ chip, Galaxy AI, software, eSIM, and camera (excluding the 8MP ultra wide). The smaller version also packs an 8,400mAh cell.

This capacity is in line with our recent report. Both models will be available in at least a gray/silver color option with support for Samsung DeX. However, the base Tab S11 downgrades to the WiFi 6E. It also won’t be as thin with the leak hinting at a 5.5mm body, which is similar to its predecessors. The storage configuration also maxes out with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Keep in mind that this is still just speculation at the moment, so take this news with a pinch of salt and stick around for more.

Samsung’s next high-end tablets, the Galaxy Tab S11 and Tab S11 Ultra, are shaping up to be feature-packed flagships — but a new leak suggests they might not last as long as their predecessors.

Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra

Listings spotted on Europe’s EPREL database show the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra (SM-X936B) is rated for only 1,200 charge cycles — a drop from the 2,000 cycles claimed for last year’s Galaxy Tab S10 lineup. A battery cycle refers to a full charge and discharge, with the number indicating how many times the battery can go through that process before its capacity falls below 80%.

Galaxy Tab S11

On paper, the Tab S11 and S11 Ultra should deliver solid daily battery life — 81 and 95 hours per charge, respectively. But the reduced cycle rating suggests they could need a battery replacement much sooner than previous models. For Samsung’s flagship tablets, that could be a sticking point for buyers who plan to hold on to them for multiple years.

The Galaxy Tab S11 series is still expected to deliver premium hardware, including 11-inch and 14.6-inch AMOLED displays, MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, and up to 16GB of RAM. They’ll also carry IP68 water- and dust-resistance ratings. However, EPREL data shows only a “C” repairability score and a low “E” for drop resistance.

By comparison, the more affordable Galaxy Tab S10 Lite keeps the 2,000-cycle battery rating and offers 88 hours of use on a charge. But it makes trade-offs with an LCD display and an Exynos 1380 chipset.

Interestingly, the reduced cycle rating of the flagship tablets might hint at a charging upgrade. The upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra is rumored to jump from 45W to 60W wired charging, and Samsung could bring similar speeds to the Tab S11 lineup. If true, the faster charging could partly explain the lower cycle count, as higher wattages generally put more strain on the battery over time if they’re not designed specifically to handle that. Samsung hasn’t confirmed details yet, but the Galaxy Tab S11 lineup is expected to be unveiled around September, following the same schedule as last year.

Samsung’s flagship tablet lineup is set for a refresh later this year, and the company has now offered the clearest hint yet about when the Galaxy Tab S11 series will arrive. The new lineup, expected to bring upgraded hardware and AI-driven features, is officially slated for release in the second half of 2025.

During its Q2 2025 earnings call on August 1, Samsung confirmed that the Galaxy Tab S11 series will launch in the second half of the year. While a specific date hasn’t been announced, this lines up with previous Galaxy Tab S launches, which typically happen around August or September. In addition to the flagship Tab S11 models, Samsung also hinted at upcoming mid-range and entry-level tablets, suggesting a broader push to strengthen its tablet lineup across price segments.

What to expect from the Tab S11 and S11 Ultra

Both are expected to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. MicroSD card support is likely to return, offering additional flexibility for users who need more space.

Battery capacities are also getting a bump. The Tab S11 is said to pack an 8,160mAh battery, while the Ultra model could come with a larger 11,600mAh cell. Both are expected to support 45W fast charging.

Design-wise, a recent live image of the Tab S11 Ultra shows a sleeker look with a single front-facing camera — a shift from the dual-camera setup seen on the Tab S10 Ultra — hinting at refinements in both form and function.

With more powerful internals, large batteries, and Samsung’s latest AI features on board, the Tab S11 series looks like a meaningful step forward for the company’s Android tablet offerings. As we get closer to the expected August–September timeframe, more official details should surface — but it’s clear Samsung is aiming to stay competitive in the high-end tablet space with this next-generation lineup.

The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra has been certified with an 11,600mAh battery—slightly larger than the 11,200mAh unit found in last year’s Tab S10 Ultra. Earlier leaks pointed to a slightly higher capacity, but this confirmed number still suggests a small improvement in battery life. It also supports 45W fast charging, just like its predecessor, meaning users won’t need a new charger but shouldn’t expect faster top-ups either.

The device will come in several variants, including a Wi-Fi-only model, a 5G + Wi-Fi version, and a South Korea-specific model. Under the hood, it’s expected to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chip, which brings a significant performance bump over the previous generation, along with a 12-core GPU and a primary Cortex-X925 core clocked at 3.73GHz.

The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra will ship with Android 16 and One UI 8 out of the box. It also features 12GB of RAM and a refined design—complete with a smaller notch and the removal of the visible S Pen charging strip on the back, giving it a cleaner look overall.

With a launch expected sometime in October 2025, the Tab S11 Ultra is poised to go head-to-head with other premium tablets. Whether these incremental upgrades will be enough to maintain its edge remains to be seen—but Samsung clearly isn’t holding back.

Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra

The Tab S11 Ultra continues the large-screen trend with what looks like a refined 14.6-inch AMOLED display. This time, however, the wider notch from earlier models has been replaced by a smaller U-shaped cutout, confirming a shift to a single front camera. That change could be a trade-off—favoring a smaller notch over dual-camera versatility.

Galaxy Tab S11

The Galaxy Tab S11, meanwhile, sticks to a familiar formula, with a design reminiscent of previous models like the Tab S10+ and S10 FE. It features slightly rounded corners and moderately thick bezels. Its dimensions suggest an 11-inch display, keeping it compact and portable.

Galaxy Tab S10 Lite

Samsung also appears to be expanding its reach with a more budget-conscious option. The Galaxy Tab S10 Lite shares a similar look with the S11 but is speculated to pack more modest internals, including an Exynos chip, 6GB of RAM, and a sizable 8,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.

Under the hood, the Tab S11 and S11 Ultra are expected to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ (an upgrade over the Dimensity 9300+ found in the Tab S10+ and S10 Ultra), promising a noticeable performance jump. The entire lineup is set to run Android 16 with Samsung’s latest One UI 8.

With a shift in camera strategy and a more affordable Lite model, Samsung’s new tablets could appeal to a broader audience when they launch later this year.

Samsung’s next flagship tablet, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, is expected to debut in September 2025. And thanks to a new leak, we’re getting an early look at its design — with some subtle but notable changes in store.

Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra (render)

On July 16, 2025, X tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks) shared a high-quality render of the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, giving us a glimpse of its front and back. The most eye-catching difference? A much smaller U-shaped notch on the 14.6-inch AMOLED display — a clear departure from the wider notch on last year’s Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra. This design tweak suggests Samsung might be moving from a dual 12MP front camera setup to a single 12MP sensor. The bezels are still impressively thin, though changes appear to be minimal, if at all.

The S Pen is still part of the package, but there’s a surprise on the back. The familiar magnetic charging strip for the stylus is nowhere to be seen in the render, hinting that Samsung may have shifted the connector — possibly to the frame, in a move similar to Apple’s iPad Pro lineup.

On the rear, the Tab S11 Ultra sports a familiar dual-camera system with larger rings, echoing the look of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S25 series for a more unified design language. Under the hood, it’s almost confirmed to pack MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ chipset (an upgrade over the Dimensity 9300+ of the Tab S10 Ultra), promising up to 10% better CPU performance over the previous model. Battery capacity is rumored to increase slightly to 11,700mAh, up from the Tab S10 Ultra’s 11,200mAh.

Specs-wise, the tablet should run One UI 8 on top of Android 16, with configurations offering either 12GB or 16GB of RAM and storage options up to 1TB. And with Samsung reportedly scrapping the Plus model this year, the Tab S11 series will likely include just the standard and Ultra versions, both expected this September.

Samsung is preparing to refresh its premium tablet lineup later this year, and we now have a solid idea of when to expect the Galaxy Tab S11 series. A company executive has confirmed that the next-gen tablets are on track for a September 2025 launch — promising upgraded performance, larger batteries, and more AI-powered features.

In a recent conversation with Android Authority (July 9), a Samsung South Africa official stated that the Tab S11 series will debut “shortly, in line with our traditional cadence.” That timeline aligns with the release of the Galaxy Tab S10 series last September, suggesting a similar launch window this year.

Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra

The Galaxy Tab S11 series is expected to include just two models: the standard Galaxy Tab S11 and the larger Tab S11 Ultra, unlike the Tab S10 series, which included the “Plus” and “Ultra”. It also marks the return of a more compact 11-inch size, something fans missed last year.

Under the hood, both models will run on MediaTek’s new Dimensity 9400+ chipset — a step up from the Dimensity 9300+ used in the S10 series — and will ship with Android 16 and One UI 8. According to reports and rumors, the base Tab S11 will feature an 11-inch AMOLED display and an 8,400mAh battery, while the Tab S11 Ultra will retain its massive 14.6-inch screen.

The new tablets will also lean into Galaxy AI, with features aimed at multitasking and cross-device connectivity. The base model surfaced on Geekbench last month with an underwhelming performance: 1420 in single-core and 5312 in multi-core tests. However the Tab S11 Ultra surfaced on the platform a few days later with much improved scores. Whether its a reflection of the final performance testing or the brand was still tweaking some variables to find a sweet spot remains to be seen.

With a September 2025 launch now all but confirmed, Samsung is aiming to deliver a refined, AI-driven tablet experience that caters to both casual users and professionals. Pre-orders are expected to go live closer to the launch — likely through samsung.com and major retailers.

A new Geekbench listing has revealed key specs of the upcoming Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra—and it looks like Samsung is going all in on performance with MediaTek’s latest chip.

Spotted under the model number SM-X936B, the Tab S11 Ultra appears to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset. This aligns with a recent listing for the Tab S11+ as well, hinting at a shift away from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chips in favor of MediaTek’s top-tier offerings—something Samsung started experimenting with in the Tab S10 series.

The Dimensity 9400+ features a 1+3+4 core setup, led by a powerful Cortex-X925 core running at 3.73GHz, backed by three 3.3GHz cores and four efficiency cores at 2.4GHz. It also packs a 12-core Immortalis-G925 GPU and supports up to 59 TOPS of AI performance, making it a serious contender for on-device AI and multitasking.

As for the CPU scores, the Tab S11 Ultra hit 2,675 points in single-core and 8,039 in multi-core tests, a noticeable jump over the Tab S10 Ultra’s scores, which were around 2,200 for single-core and 7,500 for multi-core. The device is expected to ship with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, with possible higher configurations up to 16GB, and will run Android 16 with Samsung’s One UI 8—marking the first time a Galaxy Tab ships with that combo out of the box.

Leaked details also point to a 14.8-inch AMOLED display with a 2.9K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, as well as a slightly larger 11,374mAh battery, up from the 11,200mAh unit in last year’s model. While Samsung is currently focused on its July 9 Unpacked event for the Z Fold7 and Z Flip7, the Tab S11 series is expected to launch a bit later, likely around September or October, following last year’s timeline.

With its powerful chip, upgraded specs, and the latest Android version, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra is shaping up to be a strong rival to Apple’s iPad Pro and other flagship tablets. Whether Samsung can raise the bar for Android tablets again remains to be seen—but the early signs are promising.

A new premium Samsung tablet has just been spotted online. Ahead of any official announcement, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra has surfaced on a major benchmarking platform. This has revealed advanced specs of the upcoming flagship tablet, so here’s everything we know.

Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra Pops Up with Dimensity 9400+

The South Korean tech giant’s Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra was spotted on GeekBench, carrying the SM-X736B model number. Looking at the listing, we can see that the high end tablet is powered by MediaTek’s latest and greatest Dimensity 9400+ SoC. This flagship processor is paired with 12GB of RAM. Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra was also spotted running on the latest Android 16 OS out of the box.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra

To recall, the Dimensity 9400+ also arrives with 12 core Arm Immortalis-G925 GPU and MediaTek NPU 890. Despite having the cutting edge processor, the new Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra only achieved a single core test score of 1420 points and a multi core score of 5312 points. This is a lot slower than smartphone models that feature this same processor.

But rather than being a cut down version, the score is likely impacted due to the listing being for an early prototype model for this flagship tablet. As the name suggests, the new flagship Galaxy Tab is the direct successor to the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra. We can expect the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra to offer WiFi 7 support, Galaxy AI, and various other high end specs. Unfortunately, this is all the information available regarding this model, so stick around for more.

Samsung is working on the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, and if a new leak is anything to go by, it might finally bring a bigger battery to the table.

According to a recent filing, the S11 Ultra is expected to pack a battery with a rated capacity of 11,374 mAh. That’s not the number Samsung will advertise, though. The official figure (what’s called the “typical” capacity) should land somewhere between 11,700 and 11,900 mAh.

It’s a notable jump over its predecessor

To put that in perspective, the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra had a rated capacity of 10,880 mAh and a typical capacity of 11,200 mAh. So while the jump isn’t massive, it’s still the first time Samsung has increased battery size across its Ultra tablet lineup. The S8 Ultra and S10 Ultra both stuck with the same 11,200 mAh figure, so even a small boost is something.

Aside from the battery info, there’s not much else confirmed about the S11 Ultra just yet. One earlier rumor pointed to the tablet being powered by MediaTek’s upcoming Dimensity 9400 chip.

Samsung hasn’t shared anything officially, but if it follows the same timeline as the S10 Ultra, we could see the S11 Ultra get announced around September and hit shelves in October. Until then, expect more leaks to fill in the blanks.

If you need a quick refresher on the Tab S10 Ultra, here’s what that model came with:

A 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support

A thin 5.4mm aluminum body, IP68 water and dust resistance, and an S Pen with 2.8ms latency

MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chip with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB of storage (expandable via microSD)

Dual rear cameras (13MP main + 8MP ultrawide) and dual front cameras (12MP wide + 12MP ultrawide)

Four AKG-tuned speakers, USB-C 3.2 port, under-display fingerprint reader, and DeX support

11,200 mAh battery with 45W wired charging
