The company has already started moving to the budget <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/01/19/samsung-galaxy-m31-one-ui-3-0-android-11-update/">devices like the Galaxy M31</a>. Out of nowhere, it has advanced into the next version i.e, the One UI 3.1 update. The first ones to receive it via OTA update are the Galaxy Tab S7, S7+ devices.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-338603" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/Samsung-Galaxy-Tab-S7.jpg?x10805" alt="Samsung Galaxy Tab S7" width="500" height="500" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/Samsung-Galaxy-Tab-S7.jpg 500w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/Samsung-Galaxy-Tab-S7-150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/Samsung-Galaxy-Tab-S7-300x300.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/Samsung-Galaxy-Tab-S7-420x420.jpg 420w" sizes="(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /></p>
<p>If you recall, Samsung launched the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/One-UI-3.1">One UI 3.1</a> with the Galaxy S21 flagship devices. The new UI has features like Private Share, improvements to performance and memory allocation, and more. <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/samsung">Samsung</a> is now <a href="https://www.tizenhelp.com/massive-one-ui-3-1-update-started-rolling-out-for-other-galaxy-devices/">rolling</a> out this version along with the Android 11 update for Samsung <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-tab-s7/">Galaxy Tab S7</a>(SM-T875), <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-tab-s7-plus/">Galaxy Tab S7+</a> LTE (SM-T975N), and the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-tab-s7-plus-5g/">Galaxy Tab S7+ 5G</a>(SM-T976N).</p>
<p>The respective firmware versions are <strong>T875NKOU1BUA8</strong>, <strong>T975NKOU1BUA8</strong>, and <strong>T976NKOU1BUA8</strong>. Weighing over 2.4GB, it is currently rolling out in South Korea but the OTA(Over The Air) update should expand to other regions soon. Talking about the important features, let&#8217;s quickly see what One UI 3.1 brings to the table:</p>
<ul>
<li>Private Share</li>
<li>Feature to remove GPS location data from Images(When Sharing)</li>
<li>Improved performance and memory allocation</li>
<li>Lock Screen Widgets(More new Functionality added)</li>
<li>Background Video Calling</li>
</ul>
<p>In addition to these, we can also expect the usual Android 11 perks like chat bubbles(conversations), media controls, improved permission management, improved Digital Wellbeing, and organized notifications. Besides, the Galaxy Tab S7, S7+ have also received an important feature called Second Screen support.</p>
<p>Typically, this allows the Tablets to operate as a second screen(like Apple Sidecar) with Select Samsung Windows PCs. They are Galaxy Book Flex, Galaxy Book Flex Alpha, Galaxy Book Ion, Galaxy Book S, and Notebook Plus.</p>
<p>Nonetheless, expect the One UI 3.1 to start tricking to other devices in the future. Speaking of which, a report says devices like Galaxy S20, Note 20, Z Flip 4G and 5G, S10 Series, and Note 10 devices are sure to get it.</p>
