The certification reveals the battery capacity and charging speed of the smartwatch.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">According to the listing spotted by </span><a href="https://www.91mobiles.com/hub/samsung-galaxy-watch-4-battery-fimko-certification/"><i><span style="font-weight: 400">91Mobiles</span></i></a><span style="font-weight: 400">, the Galaxy Watch4 with model numbers SM-R865F and SM-R860 will be backed by a 247mAh battery with support for 5W charging. These two model numbers could belong to the 41mm variant since </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-watch3/"><span style="font-weight: 400">Galaxy Watch3</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> 41mm features a 240mAh battery.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">However, one of the reports from Korea </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/05/12/samsung-galaxy-watch-4-active-4-wear-os-size-no-blood-sugar-level-monitoring/"><span style="font-weight: 400">tipped</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> 42mm and 46mm sizes for the Watch4. But an earlier finding by </span><i><span style="font-weight: 400">Max Weinbach</span></i> <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/03/31/samsung-galaxy-watch-active-4-size-cellular-leak/"><span style="font-weight: 400">revealed</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> 41mm and 45mm. In other words, the exact sizes of this smartwatch are still a mystery.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400">According to an exclusive report by </span><a href="https://m.mt.co.kr/renew/view.html?no=2021051116213884773#_enliple"><i><span style="font-weight: 400">머니투데이 (Money Today)</span></i></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> (via </span><a href="https://twitter.com/FrontTron/status/1392293693931999235"><i><span style="font-weight: 400">@FrontTron</span></i></a><span style="font-weight: 400">), Samsung will be indeed ditching Tizen on its upcoming smartwatches. The new report </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/02/19/samsung-working-on-two-galaxy-watch-could-ditch-tizen-for-android/"><span style="font-weight: 400">reiterates</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> previous reports that the forthcoming Galaxy Watch4 and the Galaxy Watch Active4 will run Wear OS.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">This means Samsung will be using Google’s platform for its smartwatches after a 7-year break. The reason behind this is said to be the lack of mainstream apps on the Tizen platform. Even after these many years, KakaoTalk, a popular instant messaging app in South Korea still does not have an app for Galaxy Watches.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Further, this report states that the upcoming Samsung smartwatches will not support non-invasive blood sugar level monitoring though the same was </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/01/25/samsung-galaxy-watch-4-watch-active-3-apple-watch-7-blood-sugar/"><span style="font-weight: 400">tipped in January</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">. At the same time, he had even spotted a few details regarding the forthcoming Galaxy Watches, which he </span><a href="https://twitter.com/MaxWinebach/status/1376655829458280448"><span style="font-weight: 400">shared</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> on Twitter (via </span><a href="https://www.sammobile.com/news/samsung-ditch-tizen-entirely-wear-os-galaxy-watch-4/"><i><span style="font-weight: 400">SamMobile</span></i></a><span style="font-weight: 400">) on that day itself.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">According to Max’s findings, the Galaxy Watch4 and the Galaxy Watch Active4 are codenamed Fresh and Wise respectively. Both of these wearables will be available in two sizes and in Bluetooth as well as cellular variants.</span></p>
