The outdoor mobile lovers can now obtain a new smartphone as a gadget option. The new option is the Samsung Galaxy XCover 2 which is the successor to the first generation Samsung XCover series.

As with any other outdroor phone, XCover 2 is also has a feature that makes it able to survive in extreme environments. This mobile phone comes with IP67 certification for water and dust resistance. In addition, mobile XCover 2 also has a locking battery cover that provides additional protection in case of impact.

XCover 2 comes with Android OS 4.1 and Jelly Bean 4-inch WVGA screen. Other features, there is a GPS with Glonass, Bluetooth 4.0, SoundAlive Technology for Music Player, Cardio Trainer Pro apps, 5 megapizel camera with LED flash and dedicated keys as well as WiFi and HSDPA.

In terms of the processor, this phone also gives a pretty good completeness. Powered by dual core 1GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, and 4GB internal memory. This mobile phone also provides support for microSD slot with a capacity of 1700 mAh battery. Unfortunately, Samsung has not officially announced the price of this phone.
