The Galaxy XCover 7 Pro which recently passed the FCC certification has had its specs and renders unveiled, thanks to reports from multiple sources. According to the report, Samsung is planning to launch the rugged phone in Europe later this month.

Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 Pro Specifications (Expected)

The XCover 7 Pro will feature a 6.6-inch FHD+ (1080 x 2408) LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone’s design appears to stick closely to its predecessor, with a dual-camera setup on the back, slightly raised edges for added durability, and a front-facing display that includes a dated hole-punch cutout.

True to the XCover series’ identity, the device is built for durability. It carries IP68 certification for dust and water resistance and meets MIL-STD-810H standards for surviving drops and extreme temperatures.

Inside, the phone will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. There’s also support for microSD cards up to 2TB. Keeping the lights on will be a 4,350mAh battery with support for 15W wired charging.

Camera-wise, the XCover 7 Pro is said to feature a 50MP main shooter and an 8MP ultrawide on the back, while the front will house a 13MP selfie camera.

The phone will ship with One UI 7 based on Android 15. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button, dual-SIM support, and a single black color option.

The sole configuration of the phone (6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage) is said to retail for €599 in Europe.

Samsung has yet to confirm an official launch date for the XCover 7 Pro, but with leaks picking up pace, an announcement likely isn’t far off. We’ll keep you updated as more details emerge.

Samsung’s XCover series is known for its rugged smartphones, and the most recent model in the line is the XCover 7, launched exactly a year ago. While leaks hinted that its successor might arrive soon, it turns out the company isn’t quite done with the XCover 7 lineup yet.

According to a new report by Android Authority, Samsung is working on the Galaxy XCover 7 Pro, which will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, unlike the vanilla model that comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+. This information was uncovered through code snippets that the publication reportedly obtained from reliable sources.

As part of a rugged smartphone lineup, we can expect the Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 Pro to come with MIL-STD-810H certification for durability, along with an IP rating for dust and water resistance. For context, here’s a quick rundown of the vanilla Galaxy XCover 7’s features.

Galaxy XCover 7 Specifications

The smartphone is military-grade MIL-STD-810H certified, and IP68 water and dust resistance ensure durability in harsh environments. Under the hood, the device is powered by a 6nm octa-core chip that could well be the Dimensity 6100+ SoC, 6 GB of RAM, and 128 GB of storage (expandable).

Further, there’s a 6.6-inch FHD+ TFT screen with a 20:9 aspect ratio for immersive viewing. It runs on the Android 14-based One UI 6 out of the box.

In the camera section, the Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 bundles 50MP rear and 5MP front cameras. These are optimized for barcode and QR code scanning, making them ideal for business applications.

It is built to withstand drops up to 1.5 meters and featuring Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, the XCover7 ensures long-lasting durability. The smartphone houses a 4050mAh replaceable battery. It weighs 240g and has dimensions of 169 x 80.1 x 10.2 mm.
