<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/samsung/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Samsung</a> typically follows a predictable release schedule every year. Its flagship Galaxy S series launches in the first quarter, followed by a second Unpacked event in the third quarter to unveil the latest foldable models. </p>

<p>We’ve seen a similar launch pattern in 2024 so far. But a new leak suggests Samsung might break the tradition with a possible third event later this year.</p>

<p>Tipster Ice Universe, known for accurate tech leaks, hinted on Weibo about a possible October press conference for Samsung. According to the insider, the event will focus on the launch of the Galaxy Tab S10 series (including the Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra) and the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim or the China-exclusive Galaxy W25.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="226" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/Galaxy-Z-Fold-6-Slim-Galaxy-Tab-S10-Plus-and-S10-Ultra-launch.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-640520" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/Galaxy-Z-Fold-6-Slim-Galaxy-Tab-S10-Plus-and-S10-Ultra-launch.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/Galaxy-Z-Fold-6-Slim-Galaxy-Tab-S10-Plus-and-S10-Ultra-launch-300x75.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/Galaxy-Z-Fold-6-Slim-Galaxy-Tab-S10-Plus-and-S10-Ultra-launch-768x193.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/Galaxy-Z-Fold-6-Slim-Galaxy-Tab-S10-Plus-and-S10-Ultra-launch-696x175.jpg 696w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<p>The Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim has been a topic of discussion for some time. As implied by the name, it’s expected to feature a thinner design than the standard Z Fold 6, making it more pocket-friendly.</p>

<p>But to achieve a slimmer form factor, Samsung may need to forgo S-pen compatibility, according to reports. The foldable will likely retain the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor from the new Galaxy Z Fold 6.</p>

<p>The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim is rumored to launch in only a few markets. Ice Universe&#8217;s leak suggests it will be released in Korea, while the Chinese market will see it as the Galaxy W25.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="690" height="388" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/z-fold-6-slim-thumbnail.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-640343" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/z-fold-6-slim-thumbnail.png 690w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/z-fold-6-slim-thumbnail-300x169.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px" /></figure></div>

<p>The most concrete possibility might be the long-awaited Galaxy Tab S10 series. Rumors about these flagship tablets have been circulating for months now.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The series is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor, moving away from Qualcomm’s flagship chip that the company has used for previous Galaxy Tab S series tablets.</p>

<p>It&#8217;s important to remain cautious as these are just speculations based on a single leak. Samsung has yet to confirm any details about an October event. However, Ice Universe&#8217;s track record lends credibility to this possibility. We&#8217;ll keep a close eye on further developments and update this story as more information becomes available.</p>
