Logitech has introduced the Logitech G PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE gaming mouse in India, adding a new flagship model to its esports-focused lineup. The mouse is the first to feature the company’s SUPERSTRIKE technology, which combines inductive analog sensing with real-time click haptics to improve click response, precision, and control.

The device has been developed in collaboration with esports teams such as G2 Esports, NAVI, and BLG. The focus is on reducing click latency and enabling deeper customization for competitive gameplay.

At the core of the mouse is the Haptic Inductive Trigger System, which replaces traditional mechanical microswitches. The system uses copper coils to generate an electromagnetic field, allowing analog input with a 0.6 mm click travel distance. It also supports adjustable actuation and reset points, along with built-in haptic feedback for both actions.

The SUPERSTRIKE system offers 10 levels of actuation adjustment and five rapid trigger reset levels. Haptic feedback intensity can be tuned across five levels using Logitech G HUB software. Logitech claims up to a 30 ms reduction in click latency.

The mouse is powered by the HERO 2 sensor, offering a DPI range from 100 to 44,000 DPI, tracking speed up to 888 inches per second, and a maximum acceleration of 88G. It operates with zero smoothing, filtering, or acceleration. For connectivity, it supports LIGHTSPEED wireless with an 8,000 Hz polling rate, equivalent to 0.125 ms response time. Wired mode supports a 1,000 Hz polling rate.

The design weighs 61 g and uses zero-additive PTFE feet for smoother glide. Logitech claims up to 90 hours of battery life under constant motion. Other specifications include dimensions of 125 × 63.5 × 40 mm, five buttons, onboard memory support via Logitech G HUB, and compatibility with Windows and macOS. Connectivity is handled through USB 2.0 or higher, and the mouse comes with a two-year limited hardware warranty.

Honor is slowly building out its WIN gaming ecosystem, and it’s not stopping at laptops. Ahead of its upcoming gaming laptop launch in April, the company has now teased a new wireless gaming mouse that seems clearly aimed at competitive players.

The first look comes from Lin Lin, Minister of Smart Life Business at Honor China, who shared images of the device on Weibo. He described it as “GPW like +1,” which is an obvious reference to Logitech’s G Pro Wireless, a mouse that’s already pretty popular in esports circles. The wording suggests Honor is going for a similar formula, but with some tweaks.

Design-wise, the mouse sticks to a safe, familiar shape. It’s symmetrical and fairly minimal. There are two side buttons on the left, and the Honor WIN branding sits toward the rear. Nothing flashy here, which is probably intentional.

The more interesting part is the sensor. Honor is using the PAW3395, which is already found in a lot of high-end wireless mice. It supports up to 26,000 DPI, along with 650 IPS tracking speed and 50G acceleration. The polling rate goes up to 4,000Hz, and with the right receiver, it could potentially go higher. For fast-paced games, that kind of responsiveness does matter.

What’s still unclear is where the “+1” comes in. It could be better battery life, lower weight, or maybe improved switches, but Honor hasn’t shared those details yet. For now, it seems like the company is focusing on getting the fundamentals right first.

This launch also lines up with the Honor WIN gaming laptop expected in April, so it looks like Honor is trying to build a more complete gaming lineup rather than just releasing standalone products.

There’s still quite a bit we don’t know: pricing, weight, battery performance. However, the early details suggest this won’t be an entry-level accessory. If anything, it’s shaping up to compete somewhere in the mid-to-high-end range, which could make things interesting if Honor manages to price it aggressively.

The Viper V4 Pro follows the Viper V3 Pro, introducing updates in wireless performance and sensor behavior. Weighing 49 grams in black and 50 grams in white, the Viper V4 Pro is lighter than its predecessor by around 9 percent. The weight reduction comes from internal design changes, including a more compact PCB and refined shell structure. The shape is optimized for claw and fingertip grips.

Other hardware changes include a redesigned optical scroll wheel and Gen-4 optical switches rated for up to 100 million clicks. The switches use optical actuation to eliminate debounce delay and reduce double-click issues associated with mechanical designs.

Alongside the mouse, Razer has introduced the Gigantus V2 Pro mouse mat with five surface variants based on friction levels: Max Control, Control, Balance, Speed, and Max Speed. Each variant uses a different weave pattern and is paired with a specific foam base to adjust firmness and glide.

After spending over two weeks with the black variant, I can confidently say it balances speed, reliability, and comfort in a way that feels genuinely well thought-out for both competitive and everyday gaming use.

The mouse feels secure and balanced in hand without forcing users into a particular grip.

Zaopin equips the ZPW Max with the flagship PixArt PAW3950 sensor, which delivers pixel-precise tracking and excellent speed response. The sensor supports up to 30,000 DPI, 750 IPS tracking speed, and 50G acceleration. Throughout testing in games like Apex Legends, Valorant, and CS2, the ZPW Max performed reliably without any tracking loss, jitter, or acceleration issues.

The inclusion of an 8000Hz polling rate is one of the mouse’s standout features. This ultra-high polling rate, supported via the included dongle, allows the mouse to send data to the PC every 0.125 milliseconds. While not all users will notice the difference between 1K and 8K polling, serious players and enthusiasts will appreciate the added responsiveness.

The mouse uses Omron optical switches rated for 100 million clicks. These switches deliver fast and satisfying tactile feedback. The main clicks are crisp and responsive, with minimal pre-travel and just a hint of post-travel when pressed at the back. The side buttons are large, easy to reach, and offer good feedback without noticeable wobble or sponginess.

The scroll wheel features a TTC Gold encoder with moderate resistance and well-defined steps. It avoids accidental inputs but still feels agile during rapid use. The middle click is slightly stiff, but it holds up well in general use.

Ergonomically, the mouse fits naturally in hand. The thumb groove on the left side provides good control, and the narrowing front allows for a comfortable pinch grip. The right side gently slopes to support the ring and pinky fingers. Combined with the mouse’s light weight and balanced body, these elements result in excellent overall control, even during high-speed flicks and tracking scenarios.

Software and Battery Life

The software experience with the Zaopin ZPW Max has been refreshingly smooth. Zaopin offers both a downloadable client and a web-based interface for configuration, and I’ve tested both extensively. In my experience, they worked flawlessly. All the expected customization options are there: DPI steps, polling rate, debounce time, lift-off distance, and macro assignment. Features like ripple control, angle snapping, and motion sync are also available, rounding out the toolset nicely.

The interface is clean and minimal, which I really appreciate. Unlike the bloated software packages from some mainstream brands, this one sticks to the essentials without feeling stripped down. I didn’t encounter any bugs or performance hiccups during my time with it. The only minor quirk I noticed was that the battery percentage can sometimes differ between the web version and the desktop version of the software. It’s not a dealbreaker, but something Zaopin could easily fix with a future update.

Battery life has been pretty solid overall. With 8K polling enabled and around 6 to 8 hours of daily use, I got about three to four days of runtime on a full charge. If you dial the polling rate down to 1000Hz, the battery easily lasts more than a week. And since the mouse supports wired operation while charging, there’s no disruption to your workflow or game time when it needs to juice up.

Final Thoughts

The Zaopin ZPW Max is a well-executed gaming mouse that nails the fundamentals and introduces enthusiast-grade features without pushing the price too high. It offers a lightweight build, strong ergonomics, optical switches, and flawless sensor performance, all wrapped in a clean design that doesn’t overpromise.

The coating provides reliable grip without discomfort, the buttons are consistent and durable, and the feet glide smoothly out of the box. The slightly creaky side panels during pressure tests are the only minor blemish on an otherwise excellent build. For competitive players, the 8K polling support and PAW3950 sensor ensure ultra-low latency and top-tier accuracy. For general users, the shape, weight, and comfort make it a solid daily driver.

Zaopin has refined its approach over past models and delivered a mouse that competes confidently with more established brands. The ZPW Max shows that high performance, solid build, and thoughtful ergonomics don’t require a triple-digit price tag.

I haven’t tried the hot-swappable feature myself yet, as it requires removing the padding and unscrewing the internals, which I haven’t gotten around to doing. However the overall design makes this process straightforward, and the customization options are a huge plus for those who like experimenting with different switch types.

The SA-SH01 Pro is powered by the cutting-edge 3950 sensor, which is considered one of the best in the gaming community. This sensor allows for a maximum sensitivity of 30,000 DPI with a tracking speed of 750IPS and 50G acceleration, ensuring accurate movement during high-speed gaming sessions. 

The mouse’s polling rate goes up to 8000Hz, with an ultra-fast response time of 0.125ms, making it incredibly responsive. The DPI increments can be adjusted in steps of 50, giving you full control over precision based on your specific needs.

The lightweight build at 55 grams helps for a swift and smooth glide. The side buttons, positioned for easy access, are very satisfying. The scroll wheel, while standard, delivers distinct steps and consistent feedback.

In terms of everyday use, the mouse excels in various conditions. I put it through 7-8 hours of work and gaming daily, and it handled everything from fast-paced gaming to precise work tasks with ease. I didn’t notice any input lag, even when switching between the Bluetooth and 2.4GHz wireless modes. The three-mode connectivity (Bluetooth, 2.4GHz, and wired) makes it very versatile.

However, I faced one minor issue: I occasionally misclicked during work-related tasks like taking long screenshots, ruining the screenshot, and forcing me to retake it. This might be due to the trigger sensitivity, which is more of a personal issue related to my workflow rather than a flaw in the mouse design.

Software and Battery Life

The mouse provides both a web driver and a downloadable driver, featuring a user-friendly interface that allows customization for settings like DPI, polling rate, and key mappings. It also includes performance settings such as angle snapping, ripple control, and motion sync. The initial settings screen displays the battery percentage, which is helpful, but I think it would be even better if the battery percentage were also visible on the main settings page. Placing it at the top would make it easier to monitor at a glance.

As for battery life, I’ve mostly used the mouse in wired mode, so I don’t have a precise measure of its longevity. However, with the company claiming up to 85 hours at a 1,000 Hz polling rate, it should hold up well. Fast charging is another plus, as it fully recharges the 300mAh battery in just 1.5 hours, ensuring you’re rarely without the mouse for long.

Verdict

The RAWM SA-SH01 Pro is an exceptional gaming mouse that strikes a fine balance between performance, customization, and affordability. At approximately $70, it offers impressive features like an 8K polling rate, swappable switches, and a top-tier PAW3950 sensor. Dareu, a Chinese manufacturer of gaming peripherals, has announced the release of two new wireless gaming mice, the A980Pro and A980ProMax in the Chinese market.

Specifications:

Both mice support are equipped with the P3395 optical sensor, which offers a maximum DPI of 26000, 650 IPS tracking speed, and 50G maximum acceleration. They also feature Kailh GM 8.0 Black Mamba micro switches with a lifespan of 80 million clicks.

The Dareu A980Pro and A980ProMax feature three connectivity modes: wired, NearLink wireless, and Bluetooth 5.1, and can pair with three devices simultaneously. The NearLink wireless technology developed by Huawei boasts a low latency of around 1ms and a polling rate of up to 4000Hz in wireless mode and 8000Hz in wired mode.

The key difference between the two mice is that the A980ProMax features a 0.85-inch TFT color display screen that can display mouse status like battery indicator and static or dynamic images, and can also be used to switch DPI/polling rate and other functions.

The A980ProMax also has a metal scroll wheel and a larger battery capacity (930mAh) compared to the A980Pro (500mAh). However, the A980Pro supports fast charging, while the A980ProMax does not.

Both mice are made from magnesium alloy, which is said to be lighter, denser, and more durable than traditional materials. They are also equipped with Dareu’s new energy-saving wireless technology, which can last up to 70 hours in NearLink mode and up to 130 hours in Bluetooth mode on the A980Pro (the A980ProMax’s battery life is not specified).

The A980Pro weighs 62g, and the A980Pro Max is slightly heavier at 73g. Both mice have dimensions of 129mm x 72mm x 40mm, providing a comfortable size for various hand grips and gaming styles.

The DPI settings, lighting effects, polling rate, and customization of the TFT screen can be adjusted through the Dareu driver software. This software also allows for the configuration of macro keys to tailor the mouse to specific needs and preferences.
