<p>Cloud gaming has rapidly evolved into one of the most accessible ways to play your favorite titles, letting you stream high-end games without owning a powerful PC or console. Unlike the more traditional means, where you have dedicated hardware for gaming, cloud platforms rely on remote servers that handle the heavy lifting. So here&#8217;s a details look at some of the major online game streaming services available globally.</p>

<h3>Xbox Cloud Gaming</h3>

<p>Microsoft&#8217;s Xbox Cloud Gaming service is one of the most widely recognized and available cloud gaming platforms worldwide. This service is a part of the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which basically brings access to hundreds of titles, including first-party releases, indie hits, and partner games. Cloud-enabled titles can be played instantly across Android smartphones, tablets, Windows PCs, and even smart TVs via the Xbox app.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="840" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Xbox-Cloud-Gaming-Service.png?x44794" alt="Microsoft Xbox Cloud Gaming Service" class="wp-image-714914" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Xbox-Cloud-Gaming-Service.png 840w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Xbox-Cloud-Gaming-Service-300x214.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Xbox-Cloud-Gaming-Service-768x549.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Xbox-Cloud-Gaming-Service-696x497.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Xbox-Cloud-Gaming-Service-588x420.png 588w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Xbox-Cloud-Gaming-Service-100x70.png 100w" sizes="(max-width: 840px) 100vw, 840px" /><figcaption>Microsoft Xbox Cloud Gaming Service</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Another highlight is cross-progression: your saves sync seamlessly across console, PC, and mobile. Xbox Cloud Gaming also supports Bluetooth controllers and even touchscreen controls for select games. Expansion to include more regions, with the <a href="http://Another highlight is cross-progression: your saves sync seamlessly across console, PC, and mobile. Xbox Cloud Gaming also supports Bluetooth controllers and even touchscreen controls for select games." target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Indian market just getting the service </a>earlier this month.</p>

<h3>Nvidia GeForce Now</h3>

<p>If you prefer PC gaming, GeForce Now is the most powerful cloud platform currently available. Instead of offering its own library, it lets you stream games you already own from storefronts like Steam, Epic Games Store, and Ubisoft Connect. The biggest advantage here is raw performance. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="538" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/geforce-now-og-no-text-1200x630-1-1024x538.jpg?x44794" alt="Nvidia" class="wp-image-543593" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/geforce-now-og-no-text-1200x630-1-1024x538.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/geforce-now-og-no-text-1200x630-1-300x158.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/geforce-now-og-no-text-1200x630-1-768x403.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/geforce-now-og-no-text-1200x630-1-696x365.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/geforce-now-og-no-text-1200x630-1-1068x561.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/geforce-now-og-no-text-1200x630-1-800x420.jpg 800w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/geforce-now-og-no-text-1200x630-1.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Nvidia GeForce Now</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>GeForce Now brings access to streaming games at up to 4K/120fps, depending on your subscription tier which delivers high end desktop PC class performance. Supported on Windows, macOS, Android, iOS (via browser), smart TVs, and some Chromebooks, GeForce Now focuses on serious gamers who want visual fidelity and responsiveness without maintaining a high-end PC.</p>

<h3>Amazon Luna</h3>

<p>Amazon’s Luna is another globally recognized platform and uses a subscription-based system with “channels,” letting you pick from categories like family games, retro titles, or Ubisoft’s catalog. Luna integrates tightly with Amazon Prime, so Prime members get access to a rotating library of free games every month.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="546" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Amazon-Luna-1024x546.png?x44794" alt="Amazon Luna Cloud Gaming" class="wp-image-446681" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Amazon-Luna-1024x546.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Amazon-Luna-300x160.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Amazon-Luna-768x410.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Amazon-Luna-696x371.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Amazon-Luna-1068x570.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Amazon-Luna-788x420.png 788w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Amazon-Luna.png 1500w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Amazon Luna</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Its biggest draw is device compatibility: Luna works on Fire TV devices, PCs, Macs, Android phones, iPhones, and even through web browsers. With strong controller support and a growing line-up, Luna remains a user-friendly cloud platform with emphasis on accessibility.</p>

<h3>PlayStation Plus Premium Brings Cloud Streaming</h3>

<p>Cloud streaming is available worldwide through PlayStation Plus Premium, giving players access to PS3, PS4, and select remastered PS2 games via the cloud. Sony recently expanded support for PS5 game streaming as well, offering higher resolution and lower latency.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Playstation-Portal-1024x576.jpg?x44794" alt="Playstation Portal" class="wp-image-596293" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Playstation-Portal-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Playstation-Portal-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Playstation-Portal-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Playstation-Portal-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Playstation-Portal-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Playstation-Portal-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Playstation-Portal.jpg 1280w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>PlayStation Portal</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>While limited compared to Xbox and GeForce Now, PlayStation’s service is perfect for fans of exclusive series like God of War, Spider-Man, The Last of Us, and Uncharted. So you get the convenience of streaming legendary games from major franchises. </p>

<h3>Shadow PC</h3>

<p>Shadow PC is slightly different from other cloud gaming services: instead of streaming only games, it streams an entire high-end Windows PC. If you&#8217;re a gaming enthusiast, you know that opens the door to a wide range of games. One can install any games they want, including titles they already own. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Shadow-PC-Cloud-gaming-1024x576.jpg?x44794" alt="Global Game Streaming Service" class="wp-image-716540" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Shadow-PC-Cloud-gaming-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Shadow-PC-Cloud-gaming-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Shadow-PC-Cloud-gaming-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Shadow-PC-Cloud-gaming-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Shadow-PC-Cloud-gaming-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Shadow-PC-Cloud-gaming-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Shadow-PC-Cloud-gaming.jpg 1280w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Shadow PC Cloud gaming</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>This makes it ideal for gamers, creators, or even professionals who need high end hardware on demand. With stable internet, Shadow streaming service can deliver impressive performance even for heavy PC titles. Although, it is a little more expensive than traditional cloud gaming platforms.</p>

<p>Nvidia has just announced that it will be expanding its <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/06/12/nvidia-geforce-now-xbox-games/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">GeForce Now</a> service to India soon. The company&#8217;s cloud gaming will be powered by up to an RTX 5080 GPU, bringing high end gaming performance for a subscription. </p>

<h2>Nvidia GeForce Now India Launch Confirmed</h2>

<p>Nvidia has confirmed its partnership with Brothers Picture to help bring GeForce Now to the region. To recall, this service is already available in certain other markets and is finally expanding to India as well. The tech giant has revealed some of the upcoming lineup of AAA games that will be powered by GeForce Now, which includes <em>Call of Duty: Black Ops </em>7. Apart from this, it has confirmed that more than 4,500 other titles will also be supported.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="538" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/geforce-now-og-no-text-1200x630-1-1024x538.jpg?x44794" alt="Nvidia" class="wp-image-543593" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/geforce-now-og-no-text-1200x630-1-1024x538.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/geforce-now-og-no-text-1200x630-1-300x158.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/geforce-now-og-no-text-1200x630-1-768x403.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/geforce-now-og-no-text-1200x630-1-696x365.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/geforce-now-og-no-text-1200x630-1-1068x561.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/geforce-now-og-no-text-1200x630-1-800x420.jpg 800w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/geforce-now-og-no-text-1200x630-1.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Nvidia GeForce Now</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>For those unaware, cloud gaming basically eliminates the need for a powerful gaming PC to enjoy high fidelity games. So even gamers on a budget laptop or weaker PCs can enjoy next gen titles with the help of an internet connection. After getting the subscription, Nvidia uses Indian data centers and the latest RTX powered systems for high resolution gaming, up to 4K resolution and 240fps. There will be multiple tiers for this subscription, which includes a free model with ad support and the performance and Ultimate plans. </p>

<p>The brand recommends a minimum connection speed of 25Mbps to enjoy the Ultimate tier of GeForce Now. Having a fiber optic connection and over 100Mbps broadband speeds will also help lower latency and make the experience more seamless by reducing latency. Mobile gaming is still dominant in India owing to its accessibility. But the subscription service could make PC gaming more affordable. Nvidia aims on rolling out the cloud gaming subscription in November 2025.</p>

<p>Sharp-eyed gamers have spotted a curious development on the <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/xbox">Xbox</a> store. Foreign media outlet Gamerant has discovered a &#8220;Play with GeForce Now&#8221; button appearing for certain games, including &#8220;Resident Evil 8: Village&#8221; and &#8220;Street Fighter 6.&#8221;</p>

<h3>Microsoft and Nvidia might have a bigger collaboration on the way</h3>

<p>This has fueled speculation that <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/microsoft">Microsoft</a> may be preparing to integrate <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/cloud-gaming">cloud gaming</a> services directly into the Xbox ecosystem. GeForce Now, a cloud gaming platform by <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/nvidia">NVIDIA</a>, could potentially allow Xbox players to access these titles without needing downloads.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter"><img src="https://img.ithome.com/newsuploadfiles/2024/6/4b814462-1790-4cbd-85f3-73ddbfd4dbfd.png" alt="" /></figure></div>

<p>As previously reported, ten new games were added to the GeForce Now library this month, including the aforementioned &#8220;Resident Evil 8: Village&#8221; and &#8220;Street Fighter 6.&#8221; This alignment with the &#8220;Play with GeForce Now&#8221; button sightings further strengthens the possibility of an official announcement from Microsoft.</p>

<p>While the exact timeline remains unclear, it&#8217;s expected that Microsoft will formally unveil Xbox&#8217;s support for cloud gaming services within the next few months. Whether this integration will extend to offering <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/geforce-now">GeForce Now</a> within the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate (XGPU) subscription remains to be seen.</p>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/xbox-game-pass/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Xbox Game Pass</a> will soon be bringing some of its games to the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/geforce-now/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Nvidia GeForce Now </a>service for the PC. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/microsoft/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Microsoft </a>is offering these as a part of its new expansion which will include Xbox Game Pass titles on the cloud gaming service.</p>

<h4>Xbox Game Pass will soon share games with Nvidia GeForce Now</h4>

<p>Microsoft recently signed a new deal with Team Green, which will bring select games from the PC version of Xbox Game pass to GeForce Now. These will offered alongside games that users have purchased through Steam, Epic Games Store, and Ubisoft Connect as well. The news is interesting considering Microsoft also offers its very own cloud gaming service called xCloud. Although, this only works with a small number of devices. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="538" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/geforce-now-og-no-text-1200x630-1-1024x538.jpg?x44794" alt="Nvidia" class="wp-image-543593" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/geforce-now-og-no-text-1200x630-1-1024x538.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/geforce-now-og-no-text-1200x630-1-300x158.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/geforce-now-og-no-text-1200x630-1-768x403.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/geforce-now-og-no-text-1200x630-1-696x365.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/geforce-now-og-no-text-1200x630-1-1068x561.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/geforce-now-og-no-text-1200x630-1-800x420.jpg 800w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/geforce-now-og-no-text-1200x630-1.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>Unfortunately, the entire Xbox Game Pass library isn&#8217;t making its way to the GeForce Now service. Rather, select titles that have yet to be revealed will be offered. Notably, this announcement also arrives mere days after <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/06/02/microsoft-xbox-game-pass-games/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Microsoft added in a couple of new in its Xbox Game Pass</a>, which included the likes of Amnesia: The Bunker. </p>

<p>As per an official statement, &#8220;Today we shared that Game Pass members will soon be able to stream select PC games from the library through Nvidia GeForce NOW. This will enable the PC Game Pass catalog to be played on any device that GeForce NOW streams to, like low spec PCs, Macs, Chromebooks, mobile devices, TVs, and more, and we’ll be rolling this out in the months ahead.&#8221;</p>

And with this, the Fortnite game, owned by <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/epic-games">Epic Games</a>, will be available for iOS devices.</p>
<p>A closed beta version will be available next week to test server capacity, graphics delivery, and touch controls. The company has already started taking registrations and beta access will be granted to the users in batches over the next few weeks.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-437511 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Fortnite-GeForce-Now.jpeg?x44794" alt="Fortnite GeForce Now" width="1280" height="680" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Fortnite-GeForce-Now.jpeg 1280w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Fortnite-GeForce-Now-300x159.jpeg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Fortnite-GeForce-Now-768x408.jpeg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Fortnite-GeForce-Now-1024x544.jpeg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Fortnite-GeForce-Now-696x370.jpeg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Fortnite-GeForce-Now-1068x567.jpeg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Fortnite-GeForce-Now-791x420.jpeg 791w" sizes="(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px" /></p>
<p>Making the announcement, Nvidia <a href="https://blogs.nvidia.com/blog/2022/01/13/geforce-now-fortnite-closed-beta/">said</a>: <em>&#8220;While PC games in the GeForce Now library are best experienced on mobile with a gamepad, the introduction of touch controls built by the GeForce NOW team offers more options for players, starting with Fortnite.&#8221; </em>The company further added that it plans to offer more touch-friendly games in the future.</p>
<p>Based on the information available right now, it appears that users won&#8217;t need a paid GeForce Now membership for this. Those users who have been granted access will be able to play Fortnite through Safari on <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/ios">iOS</a> and the GeForce Now app on Android. So far, an end date for the beta version hasn&#8217;t been revealed.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s been more than a year since Epic Games&#8217; Fortnite was removed from the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/apple">Apple</a> App Store and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/google">Google</a> Play Store for violating policy as the game introduced its own payment engine, and since then, the companies have been tangled in a legal battle.</p>
<p>Currently, this appears to be the only way to play Fornite on an iOS device until the game is officially available through the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/app-store">App Store</a>. However, on an Android device, as there&#8217;s support for third-party app stores, Fortnite is available to download through third-party stores or can be sideloaded or installed directly.</p>

<p>Priced at $499, the ASUS Chromebook Flip CM5 has a 15.6-inch IPS 1080p touch screen with 250 nits of brightness and a 178° viewing angle. The screen can be bent backward, so you can use the device as a tablet or in tent mode and there is support for a USI stylus that has to be purchased separately. The ergolift hinge also lifts the keyboard for a more comfortable typing experience when in laptop mode.</p>
<p>The Ryzen 5 3500C processor is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of PCIe M.2 SSD storage. There is also a 4GB RAM version with an <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/AMD">AMD</a> Ryzen 3 3250C processor and 64GB of eMMC storage. While those specs are not quite gaming specs, they will suffice if you are streaming games from platforms such as <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/stadia">Stadia</a> and GeForce Now, two services the device supports.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-394792" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/ASUS-Chromebook-Flip-CM5-gaming.jpg?x44794" alt="ASUS Chromebook Flip CM5 gaming" width="1234" height="732" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/ASUS-Chromebook-Flip-CM5-gaming.jpg 1234w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/ASUS-Chromebook-Flip-CM5-gaming-300x178.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/ASUS-Chromebook-Flip-CM5-gaming-768x456.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/ASUS-Chromebook-Flip-CM5-gaming-1024x607.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/ASUS-Chromebook-Flip-CM5-gaming-696x413.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/ASUS-Chromebook-Flip-CM5-gaming-1068x634.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/ASUS-Chromebook-Flip-CM5-gaming-708x420.jpg 708w" sizes="(max-width: 1234px) 100vw, 1234px" /></p>
<p>ASUS has added some gaming aesthetics such as giving the WASD keys, power button, and volume rocker an orange accent; including a Harman Kardon audio system, and a Wi-Fi stabilizer technology that filters out interference. The chiclet keyboard is backlit but there is no mention of it being RGB which would have been a nice addition.</p>
<p>The Chromebook has Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, an HD camera, and a battery life that goes up to 10 hours. For ports, you get 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A port, 2x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports for display and power delivery, 1x HDMI 1.4 port, an audio jack, and a MicroSD card reader. The spec sheet also mentions that it has a Titan C Security Chip.</p>

<p>The laptop is already available in the US for $499.99 but that is for the 4GB RAM version with 64GB of storage.</p>
