The rollout began on October 30, 2025. To be eligible, users must be on Jio’s Unlimited 5G plans priced at ₹349 or higher, available for both prepaid and postpaid customers. The plan can be claimed through the MyJio app by tapping on the “Claim Now” banner on the homepage.

The Gemini AI Pro Plan gives users access to Google’s most advanced tools for learning, creativity, and productivity. It includes Gemini 2.5 Pro, Google’s top AI model built for complex reasoning, coding, and content creation.

Subscribers also get 2 TB of cloud storage that works across Google Photos, Drive, and Gmail. This storage can also be used for WhatsApp chat backups on Android. In addition, users receive 1,000 AI credits every month for heavy or advanced AI tasks.

Gemini is directly built into Google Workspace apps like Gmail, Docs, and Vids. This allows users to write emails, summarize documents, or create video content with the help of AI. The plan also includes AI video and image generation tools using models like Veo 3.1, Nano Banana, and upcoming ones such as Flow and Whisk.

This offer aims to help students, researchers, and young professionals gain access to high-end AI tools at no cost. The partnership follows Airtel’s earlier tie-up with Perplexity, which offered a one-year free Perplexity Pro subscription to its users.

Google has recently improved its Bard AI by adding Gemini Pro and a new image generation feature. These updates aim to make Bard more useful in different languages and regions, providing users with better tools.

Gemini Pro, introduced in English last December, is now in over 40 languages and 230 countries. This expansion lets users around the world benefit from Bard’s better understanding, reasoning, summarizing, and coding abilities. Independent evaluations have recognized Bard with Gemini Pro as a top-performing chatbot, praised for its significant improvements.

Along with expanding Gemini Pro, Google has also made the double-check feature more widely available. Initially for English users, it now supports over 40 languages. By clicking the “G” icon, users can ask Bard to check its answers against web content, helping verify information and explore additional sources.

A new feature in Bard is image generation, available globally in English. Users can describe something, and Bard will create custom, high-quality visuals. Powered by the updated Imagen 2 model, it aims to produce realistic images quickly.

Google emphasizes responsible AI in Bard’s image generation. To distinguish AI-created visuals from human art, Bard uses SynthID to add identifiable watermarks. Google has set limits to prevent generating violent, offensive, or explicit content and avoids creating images of specific individuals.

Google Gemini 1.0 can understand complex information and answer related questions due to its multimodal capabilities, and it comes in three distinct sizes: Gemini Ultra for demanding tasks, Gemini Pro for versatile usage, and Gemini Nano for streamlined on-device operations.

The Google Bard has now received its biggest upgrade as it is now updated with Gemini Pro, which means it can do more advanced reasoning, planning, understanding, and so on. It will be available in English in more than 170 countries and territories. The Pixel 8 Pro will soon receive an update to run Gemini Nano, which will bring features like Summarize in the Recorder app, Smart Reply in Gboard, and WhatsApp.

Speaking of Gemini Ultra, it can perform a wide range of tasks, including natural image, audio, and video understanding, mathematical reasoning, and multimodal problem-solving. According to Google, it has surpassed human experts on MMLU, a benchmark that assesses both knowledge and problem-solving abilities, and achieved an exceptional score on MMMU, a multimodal reasoning benchmark. Additionally, Ultra has outperformed previous models on image benchmarks without the need for object character recognition, showcasing its native multimodality and complex reasoning capabilities.

Google plans to make Gemini Ultra available to a select group of users for early testing and feedback before a broader rollout to developers and enterprise customers in early 2024. Additionally, Bard Advanced, a new AI experience powered by Gemini Ultra, will be launching in early 2024 to provide users with access to cutting-edge capabilities.

In addition, Google has introduced Cloud TPU v5p, the most powerful TPU system to date, enabling faster training of large-scale generative AI models and accelerating the development of new products and capabilities. To safeguard against harmful content, Gemini employs dedicated safety classifiers to identify, label, and filter out harmful content, such as violence and negative stereotypes. This layered approach ensures Gemini’s safety and inclusivity for all users.
