Taiwanese e-scooter manufacturer Gogoro has launched the Gogoro Smartscooter in Taiwan. The new Gogoro electric scooter comes with a fresh and simple design but is quite attractive. Gogoro is marketing the Jego as a ride for the electric era. The optics of the Gogoro Jego Smartscooter are impressive as the company is ramping up demand for the scooter in the first week of its release.

Features

The Gogoro Jego comes with a sleek design with an aesthetic appeal. It has a full LED, Full-Color Clear Display which underlines the scooter’s sophistication and impressive functionality. The design architecture of the Jego underlines Gogoro’s commitment to blending style with functionality in the electric scooter market.

In terms of performance, the Gogoro Jego has a range of 162km and a top speed of 68km/h. The decent range and top speed of the Jego provide an enhanced riding experience for users. It eliminates vibrations and exhaust emissions providing a less severe impact on the environment. It also has an anti-theft system for added security while no heat is generated during the scooter’s operation.

The Gogoro Jego utilizes advanced battery technology for improved performance extended battery life and longer-lasting power. The Jego is offered in both single and dual batteries setup The model has the one-click reverse feature for enhanced maneuverability of the smart electric scooter. It also features synchronized braking and its dual disc brakes are efficient, ensuring rider confidence while on the road.

The Gogoro Jego Smartscooter has a spacious trunk and a collapsible step bar for easy parking. The scooter requires maintenance after 5,000km of travel and it thus offers customers a hassle-free ownership experience.

Pricing & Availability

The scooter is available in red, yellow, blue, grey, and white and it comes with a starting price of $760 in Taiwan after removing the country’s EV subsidies. A battery-swapping subscription plan is also available for $7 per month for 1,000km of range. The battery swap subscription has to be prepaid for 36 months, which is an additional $252. There are no availability details for the Gogoro Jego but it could subsequently debut in a sprinkling of overseas markets.
