Google has officially launched its second-generation Nest Doorbell, which comes with a wired connection. It is aimed at those who do not want to worry about the battery life or the spotty Wi-Fi connection.

Further, the tech giant was also able to get rid of the fish-eye effect. DXOMark, which is known for rating smartphone cameras, has tagged this new Nest Doorbell as the best doorbell camera it has tested.

It can additionally store about three hours of video history and footage for up to five minutes for each event are free. For $6 a month, users can access the last 30 days of video history.
