You would think that every new Android device that launches should support it right out of the box but that isn&#8217;t the case. <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/google">Google</a> has to manually grant support to devices which explains why there are always posts about which devices are now supported.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-279931" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/Google-Play-Services-for-AR.png?x44794" alt="Google Play Services for AR" width="638" height="347" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/Google-Play-Services-for-AR.png 638w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/Google-Play-Services-for-AR-300x163.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 638px) 100vw, 638px" /></p>
<p>Apparently, the reason for all devices not having support right out of the box is because Google needs to work with manufacturers to “create a custom calibration profile for each device”. This custom profile is based on the camera configuration of the phone and differs for each phone.</p>
<p>The list gets updated regularly with some devices sometimes showing up even before launch while others are added months after they have been announced. There are also some devices that may never even make</p>
<p>Below is a list of the latest entries on the supported devices list:</p>
<ul>
<li><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-k20/">Redmi K20</a></li>
<li><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-k20-pro/">Redmi K20 Pro</a></li>
<li><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-note-7/">Redmi Note 7</a></li>
<li><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-note-7-pro/">Redmi Note 7 Pro</a></li>

<li><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/motorola-one-zoom/">Motorola One Zoom</a></li>

<li><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-iqoo/">iQOO</a></li>
</ul>
<p>If you own one of these devices, Google Play Services for AR should automatically arrive on your device. You can also side-load the APK on to your phone from trusted sources like APKMirror. Once you do that, you can head to the Play Store and download supported apps.</p>
