The launch is coming not too long after the launch of the Win Mini 2024. The company had previously launched successful products like the Win Max 2, and the Win 4 2023.

Notably, GPD has chosen to harness the power of AMD’s cutting-edge Ryzen 8040 APUs. The design has some semblance to the popular Sony PlayStation Portable, giving a nostalgic touch to the device’s sleek and modern aesthetics.

At its core configuration, the Win 4 2024 boasts a formidable Ryzen 7 8840U APU, accompanied by a generous 32 GB of RAM and a capacious 2 TB of storage. The base model is priced at an enticing $984, providing gamers with an affordable yet high-performance handheld solution.

For those seeking an even more immersive gaming experience, GPD offers additional configurations. The company presents the Win 4 2024 with optional G1 eGPU or G1 eGPU and OCuLink cable bundles, priced at $1,630 and $1,672, respectively. While the initial release is limited to the Ryzen 7 8840U variant, GPD has responded to the community’s anticipation by revealing plans for additional configurations.
