Earlier this year, Cubot announced it’s new subsidiary Hafury. The new company already has a phone under its belt, the Hafury Umax and is planning to launch a second called the Hafury Mix.

Full specification details of the Hafury Mix have been sent to us and with its price tag said to be about $60, you may find it hard getting a better alternative.

The Hafury Mix will sport a 5.0-inch 2.5D HD display, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB storage. A MeidaTek MT6580 processor clocked at 1.3GHz will be on board along with a 2600mAh removable battery.

For optics, the Hafury Mix will sport a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front facing camera with soft light. It will also run Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and have dual SIM slots. The Mix also supports microSD cards up 32GB. There is however no support for LTE networks.

If you have not been following the news then the name Hafury probably sounds strange to you. Hafury is a sub-brand of Chinese smartphone maker, Cubot. Their first phone, the Hafury Umax is now on sale.

The Hafury Umax is a 6-inch smartphone with a HD resolution. It packs 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage and runs Android 7.0 Nougat. The rear camera is a 13MP sensor and there is a 5MP shooter  with soft light for selfies. The specs are pretty modest until you find out that this phablet comes with a 4500mAh battery and sells for juts $69.99.

That big battery paired with a large screen will let you listen to songs for 32 hours, talk for 20 hours, watch videos for 8 hours or play games for 7 hours on a single charge.

The less than $70 price is a promo that started yesterday, the 19th and will run till the 23rd of April, 2017. Another selling point of the Hafury Umax is its band support which cover almost all 3G and 2G networks round the world including the United States. So if you are planning a summer vacation and don’t want to take your expensive phone along, you should grab the Umax now.
