The new project follows the company&#8217;s core design concept of building smart homes.</p>
<p>During the MWC Shanghai 2021 event, the company showcased an area of 550 m2 in total, which included the installation of a living room, kitchen, study, home gym, entertainment room, and garage. These installations use wireless technologies made from products from the Chinese tech giant. This included smartphones, PCs, tablets, smartwatches, smart speakers, and the Vision TV range as well. The smart home project includes products integrated with the Huawei ecosystem partners.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-373014 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/unnamed.jpg?x44794" alt="Huawei" width="830" height="436" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/unnamed.jpg 830w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/unnamed-300x158.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/unnamed-768x403.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/unnamed-696x366.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/unnamed-800x420.jpg 800w" sizes="(max-width: 830px) 100vw, 830px" /></p>
<p>The aim of the project is to offer customers a &#8216;comfortable, intelligent and immersive Smart Home experience.&#8217; Furthermore, the Smart Home project represents an integral part of the brand&#8217;s Seamless AI Life Strategy, which also involves innovative technologies like the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/hilink/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">HiLink</a>, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/harmonyos/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">HarmonyOS</a>, and the new <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/hicar/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">HiCar</a>. In other words, the current prototype is basically what a smart home can be within the Internet of Things era.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-373015 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/unnamed1.jpg?x44794" alt="Huawei" width="830" height="532" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/unnamed1.jpg 830w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/unnamed1-300x192.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/unnamed1-768x492.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/unnamed1-696x446.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/unnamed1-655x420.jpg 655w" sizes="(max-width: 830px) 100vw, 830px" /></p>
<p>The company demonstrated this by showcasing the living room, where just a few words can wake up the smart assistant and enable the Back Home mode. This mode will turn on the air conditioning and air purifier, while also turning on warm lights and closing the curtains. Similarly, the kitchen will also be wirelessly connected and have products that support HarmonyOS. One can simply control these products through their smartphone, once these appliances are connected to a shared network at home.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-373016 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/unnamed2.jpg?x44794" alt="Huawei" width="830" height="553" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/unnamed2.jpg 830w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/unnamed2-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/unnamed2-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/unnamed2-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/unnamed2-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 830px) 100vw, 830px" /></p>
<p>Huawei also showcased a mock study and living/entertainment room, where one can observe a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/huawei-matepad-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">MatePad Pro</a> laptop and the 65 inch 4K <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/huawei-vision-smart-tv/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Vision TV</a> respectively. The company&#8217;s wearable lineup like the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/huawei-watch-gt-2-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Watch GT 2 Pro</a> also comes in for health related activities and tracking in the gym room. When entering the garage, the doors to the car can open directly through your phones, which can also be synced to other mobile applications and services like music and navigation as well.</p>
<p>According to Huawei, smart home isn&#8217;t simply about adding more IoT products, rather, it aims on how these devices connect and form a &#8216;virtual world.&#8217; In other words, it aims to build an extension of human senses, while also improving how users interact with these devices by developing a &#8216;repertoire of intuitive voice and gesture commands.&#8217; At the moment, the brand has more than 800 partners in its HiLink platform, which covers over 220 million IoT devices, and aims to bring more than 40 mainstream brands to provide 100 million HarmonyOS based products to households.</p>

This product comes under the company’s wide-range of other IoT devices.</span></p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-311358 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/Huawei-Smart-Insulated-Flask-02.png?x44794" alt="Huawei Smart Insulated Flask 02" width="550" height="440" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/Huawei-Smart-Insulated-Flask-02.png 550w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/Huawei-Smart-Insulated-Flask-02-300x240.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/Huawei-Smart-Insulated-Flask-02-525x420.png 525w" sizes="(max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px" /></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The new </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/huawei"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Huawei </span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">smart insulated flask features a three-layer stainless steel structure, which can insulate water for up to 24 hours. The body of the flask is IPX7 certified for water resistance and hence it can be washed safely like a normal non-smart flask.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Talking about the smart feature of the Huawei insulated flask, its lid comes with a screen attached on top of it. This tiny display shows the temperature of the water inside and also features three color prompts to describe the water’s temperature. For instance, the blue color denotes the water to be below 35° C, orange color stands for 36° &#8211; 50° C, and red represents the water to be more than 50° C. Apart from this, the flask also has a TDS reader built-in to check the quality of the water. The TDS function can be activated by long-pressing the screen and within five minutes, the result is displayed on the screen.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Since it is a smart insulated flask, it can be also connected with the Huawei HiLink app on smartphones. The app shows the real-time status of the water in the flask and also lets users set up to 15 drinking alarms which will remind users to drink water by vibrating the flask as well as flashing the screen on the lid.</span></p>
