Yesterday Nubia teased a dual camera phone it plans to release on March 21. Later we found out that the phone will be called the Nubia Z17 Mini and also got a full reveal of its specifications.

Today we have new details concerning the phone. The new info comes in form of a leaked image showing the front of the Nubia Z17 Mini. While there is not much in terms of design, the major reveal is the presence of a pill-shaped home button.

This is a deviation from previous Nubia phones which have the signature capacitive red circle as the home key. We can’t tell if this is a clickable button. We also do not know if there is a fingerprint scanner embedded underneath the button since there is no image of the rear. Fans of the Nubia line will be happy to see that the red circle is still there though.

Another thing we can see is that the Nubia Z17 Mini doesn’t get the nearly bezel-less sides like the Nubia Z11. Chances are they are saving that design for the Nubia Z17. We also think the top and bottom bezels could be thinner. At the top, there is the 16MP front facing camera, the proximity sensor, and the earpiece.

The source says the Z17 Mini is codenamed M2 and that the dual rear cameras will actually be positioned like that of the Honor V9.

Pricing was also revealed for the upcoming phone. The 4GB RAM + Snapdragon 652 version will sell for ¥1499 ($217) and the 6GB RAM + Snapdragon 653 version is expected to sell for ¥1799 ($260). There is no mention of the 4GB RAM + Snapdragon 653 version.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 is one of the most anticipated phones of 2017. According to leaks and rumors, the Galaxy S8 will get a new design and be available in two sizes. Both will have dual-curved displays instead of the usual tradition of one flat-screen phone and a curved variant. It will also not feature a physical home button.

A Weibo user @KingwayLee uploaded renders of what he thinks Samsung’s next flagship will look like. In his renders, the Galaxy S8 looks appears to be a little thinner than the S7 Edge. The lower bezel that should house the home button is now smaller as well and instead has a square capacitive key. But we doubt that a fingerprint scanner, even an under-glass one will be able to fit there.

The render also shows the S8 with a single rear camera. We don’t have a problem with that as the S7 Edge and Google’s Pixel phones which all have single rear cameras take superb shots, but we’d love to see what Samsung’s dual cameras are like.

KingwayLee has however omitted putting a speaker on his renders and an audio jack. Rumors flying round already mentioned that Samsung will be removing the beloved audio jack, joining the ranks of LeEco, Moto, and Apple.

MEIZU’s CEO showed mx5’s home button
at his weibo today, it seems that the new phone would be a great upgrade over Mx4.

J.Wong said they can only do something like the home key with fingerprint recognition, but he also stressed that many years ago M8 own Home button on the phone’s shape is similar to that. Lets see what Meizu will bring, It is also rumured that the phone will have a 41MP Primary Shooter.

Last Year Meizu Launched it’s Flagship, Mx4, Mx4 is one of the most popular phone made by Meizu, Meizu has a reputation for making premium devices, and the MX4 is no exception. It caught more attention perhaps when it topped the AnTuTu chart of 2014. A phone with just .2 mm bezels on either side of display and a surprise Mediatek MT6595 octacore processor. It is coupled with 2GB of RAM and PowerVR G6200 GPU. The phone was a big hit.

Mx5 will be available in China in the next Half of the Year.
